Unique, authentic and clean! We were looking for a place where to stay in the mountains and still have the Italian authentic small vila - and we found it. It was rainy when we stayed, but it didn’t changed our plans and the vibe as the villa itself has the coziness that fits any weather. Highly recommended place to stay if you want to feel the unique and authentic vibe.

Il cottage è immerso nella natura ed esattamente come descritto: si respira molta tranquillità. L’idromassaggio all’aperto è stato meraviglioso, ed i proprietari si sono premurati di farci trovare l’acqua ad una temperatura perfetta. Sono inoltre stati disponibilissimi nell’adattarsi alle nostre esigenze ed i nostri orari, se ci sarà occasione torneremo sicuramente in futuro.

Sara and Brian are truly amazing hosts—proactive, kind, and fascinating to talk to. Their home is enchanting, like stepping into a real fairytale. You can feel how much love and care they’ve poured into every detail. It’s one of the most spectacular places we’ve ever stayed in! Not only is the house and the garden magical, but it’s also so practical and thoughtfully equipped, providing everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. The gym was fantastic, and the house had plenty of space for two families. Even with 2 adults and 4 “monkeys” (our energetic kids), there was room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and celebrating New Year’s Eve with fireworks lighting up the entire region was an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Sara and Brian, for sharing your incredible home with us. We can’t wait to return!!!

The place is located on top of the hill. It has been a pleasure to stay for a few nights at Federico's place. He has been really helpful when we asked questions, to find the place etc. It is a lovely family house. We did not test the jaccuzi because off season but I guess on sunny days it must be amazing. The view from the house is stunning.

We really enjoyed our holiday at cas nel bosco, the house is very quiet and close to nature. We liked that very much. The pool and the garden offer total relaxation. We already miss everything very much. In the valley it was often 32 degrees in the first week and upstairs in the house it was very pleasant. The pool was super refreshing. The house has everything you need and the small village of Medicina is very charming. The access road is narrow and very winding, but we also saw some wildlife. Communication with Francesca and Paola was straightforward and enquiries were answered immediately. Thank you very much, we had a great holiday.

Schöne Aussicht, 20 min mit dem Auto von der nächsten Stadt entfernt, ohne Auto nicht erreichbar. Die Kommunikation lief super, das Haus war mit Navi gut zu finden & die Gegend ist sehr schön

The location is superb, great views and has a very cosy feel. The kitchen and living area on the ground floor were spacious and welcoming, while the private terrace made for a lovely place to have breakfast with an amazing view every morning. The bathroom and bedroom, situated at the first floor, were very clean and well equipped and the view from the bed was amazing every day. Our host Fabio was very friendly, informative and helpful informing us about best times to visit the main tourist attactions of Tuscany and where we could find the best restaurants and shops in the area. All in all an amazing stay! Totally recommend!

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem wunderschön gelegenen Dorf, perfekt zum Disconnecten und Erkunden der Natur und den Städten Lucca, Pisa ... Lorenzo ist ein klasse Gastgeber, super in der Kommunikation und sehr herzlich. Die Unterkunft selbst ist top modern, genau wie auf den Bildern und ergänzt durch einen super, shared Pool ideal für einen Urlaub.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille avec nos deux enfants de 7 et 11 ans dans cette charmante petite maison située au cœur d'un village médiéval plein de charme. Les habitants sont incroyablement gentils et accueillants. La maison est parfaitement équipée avec tout le nécessaire, y compris une cafetière expresso et un SodaStream, des petits plus qui font la différence ! Laura a été très réactive et à l’écoute avant notre arrivée, et Stefania, sa maman, nous a chaleureusement accueillis sur place. C’est l’endroit idéal pour se déconnecter : pas de wifi ni de réseau, parfait pour se ressourcer en famille. De belles balades et visites sont à faire aux alentours, et pour les amoureux de la mer, elle n’est qu’à 50 minutes. Un lieu parfait pour se ressourcer loin du tumulte quotidien !

wenn du Ruhe suchst, Entspannung, keine Menschen um dich herum möchtest. ist diese Unterkunft perfekt. als kleiner Trip vorher einkaufen. damit man nicht unnötig die Unterkunft verlassen muss. es gibt wenige Restaurant undie Ecke. ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto,kommt man zu einem schönen italienischen Pup. preisleistubg top. tolle Unterkunft um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. wir kommen gerne wieder !!

Wir hatten ein erholsamen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft, liebevoll und stilvoll restauriert und eingerichtet, gleichzeitig funktionierte alles einwandfrei auch die Heizung. Ciacomo und seine Eltern (vor Ort) sind äußerst höflich, hilfsbereit, freundlich und immer top erreichbar gewesen. Sie legen Wert auf echte Gastfreundschaft, wie zB der Obstteller bei Ankunft. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft sehr gut und großzügig ausgestattet. Man kann gut zu Fuß über den Hügel nach Lucca spazieren mit malerischer Aussicht auf dem Weg. Mit dem Auto ist es auch ganz einfach, das Parken rund um die Stadtmauer ist günstig. Viele gute Tipps für Restaurants und Einkaufen. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen, vielen Dank!

El canto de los pájaros y en el fondo un silencio que impregna los sentidos. Así es el lugar donde está situada la casita de Fabio . Un lugar tanto tan bucólico que, ni tan siquiera le hecho de tener varios días de lluvia, fue un motivo de no poder disfrutar de este bello entorno. La casa está cuidadosamente decorada y cuenta con todo lo que puedas necesitar para sentirte "EN CASA". La cama es absolutamente cómoda algo que no siempre es posible disfrutar cuando sales de casa. Fabio es un hombre amable y atento. Nos hemos sentido muy bien acogidos desde el primer momento. Gracias por todo Fabio!

The apartment is lovely and perfect for relaxing and enjoying some time away from city troubles. Vagli Sotto is a very tiny town, it is possible to go there by bus, but as there is a lot of nice things to do + no bigger place to shop food around, a car was very helpful. Also, do not book if you’re looking for some luxurious place - the apartment is very comfortable and has everything one needs, but the house itself is quite simple. Contrary to some old reviews, the neighborhood was not loud at all. Catia and Anna were very easy to reach via message and very kind + helpful in every matter. Thank you!!

We had an outstanding time at Enricos place. Perfect vacation! It’s a beautiful location, a great house and an outstanding property. If you’re looking for relaxation and an oasis of solitude, it’s the place to be. Yet it is still very close to a lot of nice original restaurants, grocery stores but also Lucca and the beach are just a short drive away as well. We were welcomed by Donatella, one of the nicest person ever, who showed us the house, the property and send us tips and recommendations for things to do in the area. She was super responsive if we had any additional question. Also Enrico was a great host, making sure the house, pool and property was in perfect shape for his guests. 5 stars, without a doubt !!

Wir (4 Erw, 2 Kids) waren 12 Tage in den Ferien da. Die Anfahrt war etwas Tricky da wir mit unseren großen Bus (Hyundai Staria) voll beladen nicht die Zufahrtsstraße hoch gekommen sind, Andrea und Barbara waren so nett und haben uns unser ganzes Gepäck hochgefahren, leer sind wir dann mit dem Bus zum Haus gelangen. Die Auffahrt benötigt ein wenig Übung besonders mit größeren Autos. Das Haus hat den typischen ital. rustikalen Stil und ist größer als es auf den Fotos wirkt. Alle Schlafzimmer sind klimatisiert und geräumig, das Wlan läuft stabil. Die Umgebung bzw. Aussicht sind ein Traum. Es ist alles da was man zum Überleben und wohlfühlen braucht. Barbara und Andrea sind die ganze Zeit über für uns da gewesen und haben uns immer bei Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden. Wir hatten selten so herzliche Gastgeber!!! Alles was an Obst und Gemüse dort wächst konnten wir pflücken und essen. Der Pool ist schön groß, genug Schatten und eine Außenküche sind verhanden. Wir kommen gerne wieder ❤️

Het huisje ligt heerlijk afgelegen in het bos met een eigen toegangsweg erheen. We hebben genoten van het huisje, waarin we terug in de tijd leken te gaan en we lekker knus hebben kunnen verblijven. De regio hebben we uitgebreid verkend in de twee weken die we er verbleven. In het dorp zijn voorzieningen als een supermarkt, bakker, pizzeria en apotheek te vinden. Lopend ben je dan wel een half uur onderweg. Een paadje door het bos bestond er toen wij er waren niet (meer). Omdat het afgelegen ligt moet je wel alles met de auto doen en het bospad ernaartoe is minder geschikt voor lage auto's of kleine auto's met een kleine motor. De bijbehorende tuin is groot, is afgezien van het bos niet omheind, en bestaat uit terrassen. We hadden de eerste dagen wat problemen met wespen, maar Irene reageerde gelijk en verholp het probleem. Bij vragen reageerde ze sowieso snel.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft von Stefania sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wir wurden persönlich von Ihr empfangen, haben alles sehr gut erklärt bekommen. Alles ist sehr sauber und entspricht der Beschreibung. Man sollte wissen, dass in der Unterkunft kein/sehr schlechtes WLAN ist. Dass wird aber von Stefania auch nicht beworben :) Wer hier einen ruhigen Urlaub fernab der Menschenmassen, jedoch in guter Reichweite zum Meer und allen bedeutungsvollen Städten verleben möchte, ist hier Goldrichtig. Daniele war ein äußerst zuvorkommender Gastgeber - immer erreichbar, sehr entgegenkommend und in allen Belangen hilfreich und ansprechbar. Das Haus liegt in den Bergen, man kann dort schöne Wanderungen (mit vielen Höhenmetern) unternehmen. Ein kleines traumhaftes Refugium, in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Herzlichen Dank!

Heerlijke dagen gehad in de prachtige maisonnette. Dicht bij de stad en een rustige omgeving. Ontzettend lekker bed en alles was brandschoon!

Perfect stay, host left clear instructions, house was immaculate, very responsive when asking any questions, a stunning place with gorgeous garden, amazing outlook and walking distance to great bars and restaurants. Will definitely be back.

Mooi gerestaureerd en heel gezellig kastanjedrogerijtje (metato) in de heuvels boven Bagni-di-Lucca met ruim voldoende mogelijkheden voor uitstappen te voet of met de auto (Lucca, de vallei van de Lima, de Ponte Magdalena, ...). Jammer dat Bagni zelf wat vergane glorie is. De terrassen voor en achter de woning laten toe te genieten van de rust en het uitzicht van bij het ontbijt tot laat in de avond. Roberta, die in afwezigheid van de eigenaars de gasten opvangt, is een absolute meerwaarde voor de eigenaars van "il metatino". Haar ongekende inzet voor zowel het verblijf als de gasten hebben wij nog nooit eerder mogen ervaren tijdens onze eerdere vakanties in AirBnB accomodaties.

We had an amazing couple of days at this beautiful and peaceful place. Corrado could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and we only wish we had been able to stay longer! We had exclusive use of the pool, which was fantastic in the August heat, and Corrado booked us a table at a local restaurant where we had delicious food and wine. Highly recommend, and we hope to be back.

We had a lovely stay at Cherry Tree Cottage. The cottage has been beautifully converted and is very convenient. The mountain views were wonderful and there's a great pool for the end of a hot day. It is private, and we ate outside every evening watching the light fade on the mountains. The location is also excellent, both for easy access to shops and also for heading to the mountains to walk. We felt very lucky to find it. Graziana's husband was generous with his maps and walking suggestions, and you absolutely must head to Piglionico to do the interesting, beautiful and well-marked walking trails that have been his passion project. Highly recommended.
