Mohamed is a great host. he take hospitality to the next level by have amazing helpful supervisor and cleaning and housekeeping team they left the place full of equipment and accessories including fresh fruits and basic grocery . he did his best to make our stay as good as we expect. she even offered a free late checkout for us. and stay by himself and his team to very late hours just to give us more time. this is the entreprene mentality we all looking for. thanks Mohamed and see you again for sure.

Absolutely loved Teresa’s home. Our family had so much space and that view onto the water was amazing. Loved it.

The place was very accessible to the sea, restaurants and shops but above all accessible to the sea which we enjoyed. The best part was hiking.... climbing mountains, caves and enjoying with my family was a Woooow!! Thank u

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. It was not only equiped with everything that we needed, but had so much more. Adet was extremely helpful and responded to all our messages. I will definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in Stanford.

We have spent many holidays on Thesen Islands over the years, renting multiple homes on multiple islands. We have now found the perfect home for us. What you arrive to is so much better than any description or picture and exceeded all of our expectations without exception. It's a stunning North facing location with a wonderful view up the main canal. The home is very well appointed and most notably, for us and for my wife, spotlessley clean. Also very notably we were supplied with the small things that make a big difference and give you a sense of generosity by the hosts; toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, sponges, washing powder, hand soaps etc (you'll be shocked how many home stays don't supply the small things). We are so appreciative to Ilsebe for sharing her lovely home with us. 2026 is already booked. Can't wait! The Farrells

I absolutely loved my stay. The farm is so scenic and peaceful. The cottage is much bigger than it looks on the photos. It had everything I needed and was very comfortable. There are loads to see and do. Especially if you love birds. Beautiful and easy walking trails. Perfect to break away. The hosts are kind, helpful and passionate about the farm.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Sunbird Cottage which is very homely in a stunning setting. The farm offered us plenty of opportunity to explore the Wakkerstroom area, and we even enjoyed two walks on the farm itself. The farm fresh milk, eggs and jam were a treat and absolute spoil!

A massive thank you to Nicholas & Louis for their incredible hospitality, attention to detail and they were always available irrespective of the time of day. We felt as if we have known them for years, and their friendly demeanor and attention to detail was incredible. Thank you for your generosity.

Beautiful farm cottage, very clean and peaceful. The Midlands have great things to offer and to do. Most definitely going back soon!!

When spontanously looking for an accomodation in the Drakensberg, we stumbled over Emmas beautiful cottage. The road to this little cottage was a bit adventourous, but totally worth it. On the one hand you can go on the most amazing hikes close by and on the other hand relax at the lovely little cottage. Thanks to Emma we had a fantastic stay and can recommend staying here to a 100%.

A very special space, meant for those who enjoy a farm style holiday but with all possible comforts, and more. honestly, I have stayed at many a farm cottages with my kids, but never have I found one like at Nix’ with carefully chosen plates, cups, pottery, and even an air fryer and yoga mats! The kids enjoyed the treehouse and toys. We could not make time to canoe in the river (right at your doorstep) but that will be for the next trip! The only downside was the sound of cars rushing past on the highway. Wish there was a speed limit on those cars.. look forward to being at this farm again

We had a great weekend. Very comfortable home from home getaway. Well equipped and not cluttered! Beautiful, quiet location where you can relax and enjoy listening to the night sounds. Close to all amenities and restaurants in town. Our weekend was the epitomey of perfect South African weather making our duvets too warm. A light duvet for summer would be a good idea. Definitely going back !

Rene and his family was very helpful and very nice, we had here 3 nights which came very short. It is a beautiful place to stay with very nice views and lots of things to do arround. It was very nice even just sit outside at evening watch the stars with wine. Definitely recommended for families also. My son loved the tortoises and the playground. Even though there were many places we wanted to visit we had to spend some time at home because our son did not want to leave the house

Tashas place is a real gem! We have never stayed anywhere like this before and it was fab. The cabin is minimalist but clean and comfortable. The other amenities such as the hot tub, sofa looking over the view and Braai are all great. It was easy to uber to town and all instructions were very clear. Tasha is also fantastic so would love to stay again!

We had the greatest time! The place is serene with breathtaking views that made every moment feel magical. Esbie and Pieter were absolutely wonderful hosts; so warm and welcoming. Esbie went above and beyond, even taking us birding with my son and sharing the most fascinating stories about the farm. She truly became a friend to him, which was such a special part of our stay. We explored the area; which is a great respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. We loved the nearby restaurant Billiadboard, a must visit for a burger. There's also a charming little shop called Meer and Meet where we picked up homemade oils, teas, and some fun t-shirts. The neighborhood itself is lovely and the people are so friendly. This visit was just what we needed, and we’re already planning to come back in the summer. Highly recommend this gem.

The cabin was exactly as described. Easy access to the beautiful Nile river, with very helpful guides and knowledgeable staff. Had a surreal time and would definitely come back to the cabin :)

Absolutely stunning! Loved the morning game drive with breakfast afterwards. The bird life is unreal and even had a springbok graze near the dam where we were staying.

We loved our stay with Michelle. The cottage is perched on a hillside surrounded by trees, which gave us the relaxing getaway we were after. We were visited by the local Knysna Loeries on a number of occasions and we thoroughly enjoyed hiking the many trails in the area and kayaking on Touw River. If you’re looking for a cosy cottage with peaceful surrounds just outside of Wilderness, we’d recommend booking a stay with Michelle.

An amazing place to stay, would highly recommend for anyone wanting to escape busy life to reset and soak in nature.

Charls’ place is truly a slice of paradise — the pictures simply don’t do it justice. Nestled right on the edge of the lagoon, the views are absolutely breathtaking. We were captivated by the ever-changing colors of the water, especially during sunrise and sunset. Watching wild horses gracefully wander past as the day began or ended felt like something out of a dream. One of the unexpected highlights was kayaking on the lagoon — such a peaceful and memorable experience. The home itself is beautifully appointed and exceptionally well-equipped. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered — from quality bedding and a hairdryer to conveniently placed plugs (which we really appreciated!). The added bonus of a washing machine and tumble dryer made our stay even more comfortable. If you considering it - don't hesitate, just book it!
