What a serene and peaceful location, I've been visiting this area for 12 years and this is the 1st Airbnb we really didn't want to leave. We thoroughly enjoyed how private and tranquil the whole space was, besides some visits from a very friendly dog and of course a warm welcome from Fabien and his daughter we saw nobody else for the entirety of our stay. Fabien went out of his way to offer us any support we needed, and we couldn't recommend his place more! It's the perfect location for a family stay, and our only regret is that we didn't have more time to stay explore the local surroundings. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you again Fabien! we hope to see you next year.

Nous avons séjourné chez Philippe à l'occasion d'un WE retrouvailles entre cousins/cousines. Accueil chaleureux de la part de Philippe et communication impeccable avec lui. Vous aurez affaire à un passionné doublé d'un épicurien ! Sa maison est vraiment sympathique, nous nous y sommes bien sentis. Piscine un peu fraîche mais nous nous sommes rattrapés dans le jacuzzi et le sauna 😅 Vous ne pourrez que passer un bon séjour chez Philippe. Merci à lui encore.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour, dans un lieu calme, très jolie et le jacuzzi est un réel plus dans ce logement qui est super bien situé pour visiter la Rochelle et ces alentours 😉

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end entre amis chez Roz. La maison est très belle, propre, spacieuse. Tout est prévu (linge de lit, serviettes, etc). Des petites attentions nous attendaient, c’est un plus que l’on a beaucoup apprécié. Les nombreuses activités disponibles sur place nous ont bien occupé, nous n’avons pas quitté la maison du week-end : piscine, jacuzzi, billard, ping-pong, fléchettes, etc. Petite dédicace à Bob qui nous a très bien accueilli !

Nous avons passé un super séjour entre amis avec des enfants. Le logement est bien équipé, au calme, parfait pour 2 familles. La piscine avec sauna et jacuzzi est l’endroit parfait pour adultes et enfants. La présence du parc de jeu a fait le bonheur des enfants. Nous remercions Daphnée et Blaise pour leur accueil. Nous recommandons chaudement pour toutes les personnes cherchant une semaine au calme.

Le logement correspondait parfaitement aux photos de Airbnb, le lieu était paisible et nous avons pu nous balader et nous reposer tranquillement pour cette Saint-Valentin.. Merci encore à vous pour votre accueil chaleureux et votre réactivité ! Je recommande.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte, spacieux et agréable. le jardin est très agréable et le spa vaut largement le petit supplément.

Really beautiful farmhouse, with a great host. The guesthouse has everything that‘s needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay and the garden is lovely! Would really recommend staying here.

Fabulous stay after a long drive drive Brigitte was there to greet us your own enclosed garden which was amazing for us as we had our 2 dogs , and secure parking spot with electric gates, nice and clean felt like home from home , peaceful and quiet will return again

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Élisabeth. En cette période de Noël, nous avons particulièrement apprécié de nous retrouver autour du poêle. On imagine qu'aux beaux jours, l'environnement est très propice à la détente au milieu des plantes et des animaux.

nous avons été conquis par la maison. elle est très joliment décorée il y a tout le nécessaire. la maison était très propre. dans un quartier calme et à proximité du centre ville en voiture. Céline nous a recommandé des restos sympa. bref séjour parfait encore merci !

Nous sommes venus plusieurs fois, le logement très bien situé pour une étape vers le Sud, très bon rapport qualité prix et grand jardin avec trampoline pour que les enfants se défoulent. Merci à notre hôte pour sa réactivité !

lieu de ressourcement idéal, brasero à disposition, kiosque tonnelle avec grande table pour lire les bd, livres ou jeux mise à disposition. seul petit bemol: devoir rentrer dans la maison des hôtes pour la salle de bain. on aurait apprécié une douche près du bar ou du lieu de vaisselle.

We had a fantastic stay with Marc Andre and Chantal! Wonderful accommodation on a spacious property with a private pool, tennis court, and table tennis table. We had great contact with Marc Andre and Chantal, both before and during our stay. They let us borrow their bikes and gave us various tips for sights and restaurants. Absolutely recommended, and if it's on our route again, we would love to return!

Collete was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was perfect for our family of 4,very peaceful and well appointed with everything you could possibly need. We loved the pool and outdoor dinning area which has a bar and BBQ. What made the house stand out were all the small and thoughtful touches: shower gels and soaps, charcoal for the BBQ, homemade (delicious) madeleines and free eggs and a friendly cat! Thank you, we will be back next year.

Super séjour en famille pour les fêtes de fin d’année, on se sent bien dans la maison, l’impression d’être chez soi et tellement apaisant !

We had a brilliant two weeks at Philippe’s gite. It is located in a charming village with good amenities- bakery/shop, restaurant/bar, public tennis courts and lovely cycle rides and walks right on the doorstep. The weather was hot and sunny and we enjoyed the refreshing pool and outdoor dining areas. Everything has been carefully arranged for the comfort of guests and philippe was welcoming and discreet. Would highly recommend this for a family or group of families to visit. A bit of a drive to sightseeing places but we found lots of nice parks and the little lake nearby was lovely!

Thank you both for hosting us, we had a great time during our 6 night stay.! The location is a rural retreat that is rich with nature. Our children (10 and 8) loved trying to catch the frogs around the lake, and the lizards that sunbathed on the paths. We saw toads, birds of prey, and dragonflies, and heard kingfishers and owls. The lake was magical, reminded me of the famous Redmire pool in the UK. Lots of carp showing on the surface. I had some memorable fishing sessions trying to outwit them! The pool was clean and safe with a shallow end. We all spent a lot of time in there on the hot days! Games room a fun edition, we enjoyed ping pong and darts. We didn't try golf but saw others playing. Accommodation was well equipped, especially the kitchen which even had a garlic press and full bbq utensils including wooden skewers. Shower nice and powerful. Everything spotlessly clean. We had a bbq most nights which was provided on the patio. We would recommend!

Belle maison atypique, située au calme. Le propriétaire a été très accueillant et des petits cadeaux nous attendaient à l'arrivée. Nous avons passé une bonne semaine chez Violette et son mari. La communication avec eux a toujours été très bonne. Nous recommandons pour une visite de la Charente Maritime et du Marais Poitevin.

We have just spent a week, July 2024, a family of 12 plus a baby, at this very beautiful house. There is everything and more you could ever need. It is quiet. It is a beautiful area and the village has a beautiful bakery and supermarket. The beach is approx 15 mins by car. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we loved it. The kids played tirelessly in the beautiful big pool. The house has cots, high chair and even toys for the children. It was my 60th birthday and my family organised a local private chef (Manu chef a domicile) to cook for us, recommended by Will and it was amazing. We picked up hire cars at the train station also recommended by Will. The whole process was more than easy. We had the best time and would highly recommend to a large family. We hope that this is not the last time we stay at this stunning house and hopefully not our last time in La Rochelle. Holiday blues are real when you’ve visited such a beautiful place 😊
