In the heart of the Sandhills, quaint 2 bedroom home is located in Ainsworth, 10 miles from Long Pine, NE. Wood floors throughout, comfortable leather furniture, king bed in master, 2 twin beds in 2nd bedroom, wifi, 55” LED TV, full size washer/dryer, stove, microwave, kitchen table w/ 6 chairs, tub/shower, full size fridge, propane grill, lawn chairs. Shampoo, soap, coffee provided. Additional twin bed available on porch (spring / summer / fall - AC on porch. Not ideal during cold weather).

Luxury Middle Loup River Cabin

Live the experience on the Middle Loup River. Our cabin overlooks the river and provides gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The cabin is furnished with luxury beds; a king in the bedroom and 2 twins in the loft (ladder access). The kitchenette has a Kuerig, hot plate, microwave, toaster, and full refrigerator. The bathroom has a stand up shower and a washer/dryer combo. Make memories and float the river in a tank, tube, or kayak with our local outfitter. Free pickup and dropoff at the cabin.

School House Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Quiet and remote. You will see plenty of wildlife and the stars at night, and listen to the coyotes howl. Located 3 miles southwest of Johnstown, NE. This was once a one room grade school that has been converted into a cozy cabin for your enjoyment. No tv, no Wi-Fi, cell service is available. The school house cabin is located next to the Plum Creek Wildlife Management Area and 22 miles from the Niobrara River and 13 miles from Ainsworth, NE.

Grandma’s House in the Hills

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. This sweet little home was my Great Grandparents place. We are honored to provide a cozy, simple getaway for others to enjoy. The area provides a small town feel with great amenities. Welcome to the Sandhills of Nebraska. The area is known for river trips in the summer and hunting. Local grocery store, coffee shop and world class golf courses within 30 miles are a few highlights. The local airport is great for private pilots.

Sandhills Retreat

Sandhills get-away right off the main highway and extremely close to town. Halsey National Forest is just a few minutes away and many great Refuge lakes are in the area between Thedford and Valentine. Beautiful views of the sandhills and Middle Loup river going thru the property, with a small catch & release fishing pond on property. Little House on the Prairie

The Little House on the Prairie is nestled in the heart of the Nebraska Sandhills. We are a mere ten minutes from the Calamus River and Calamus Lake (west end) which offers tanking, tubing, boating, and fishing. This is a birders paradise! Bald eagles, prairie chickens, and a plethora of other species to observe will be waiting out your window. Star-gazers will find our night skies free of light pollution. Nature awaits!

Historical, small town, charming home (1st level)

Make passing through small-town Nebraska more comfortable than you ever imagined! This listing is for the first level of this historical home which includes one bedroom, one bathroom, washer and dryer, living area, kitchen and dining area. This space can be used for just the comfort of a nice bed and a place to shower or for the comfort of the whole family with plenty of children’s toys, pack and play, high chair etc.

Cozy 3 bedroom Ranch house

Cozy ranch house located in the north central Nebraska sandills. Just off Highway 20 between Stuart and Bassett, you are also just 45 minutes from O’Neill to the east or 1 hour 15 minutes from Valentine to the west. You can relax with family or friends at this peaceful place to stay. Has a spacious outdoor yard and being the only place on the road there is no other traffic neighbors.

Home Away From Home

Be my guest while I am away and forget your worries in this home with rustic charm and homey feel with the property having only 2 neighbors on either side located on a quiet street. Across the street on the front side offers a city park and the back has no neighbors/ alley with a big pasture perfect for watching sunsets. On the patio is a Traeger grill and firepit.
