Kesällä ulkoilureitit lähtevät muutaman sadan metrin päästä ja talvella hiihtoladut sekä talvipolut. The ski tracks start right behind the building, the ski bus and buses from the train station and airport stop at the hotel, and the grocery store (Jounin kauppa) is within walking distance. "Ylläksen Alppimaja" is perfect for friends, families, couples and solo travellers.

Bussipysäkki vieressä. Huoneisto on suunniteltu kahdelle, mutta nukkumapaikat järjestyvät neljälle. Asunto on itsepalvelukohde eli majoittuja siivoaa itse.
