Renta de casas vacacionales en la playa en Akumal

Our stay at Carmen's was incredible. It is right in the heart of all the action in Playa del Carmen. Literally seconds to the beach. You are in the middle of the shopping. You can walk to Starbucks, 7-11 and even McDonalds (if you want that). The house is a great size with 2 large bedrooms, each having their own beautiful bathrooms with huge walk in showers. Everything we needed was in the large kitchen. it felt like an authentic Mexican house. We felt at home there. You are secure behind an entry gate. Sit on the front porch area and enjoy a coffee/drink or take in your private pool in the back in full seclusion from everyone. The local people are amazing (go to Donalds place across the way! he's great!!). We felt so safe and accepted. There have been comments about not being able to flush toilet paper. This is not specific to Carmen's home. This is just something done in the area. I'm Canadian and used to this in our northern cottages. Not a big deal. She even provides a safe!

The host is always very responsive, villa is nice with 3 rooms with own bathroom, so perfect to stay with 3 couples. Beach is close by, but Akumal lagoon is more beautiful to swim with turtles.

My husband and I travelled with 2 of our boys, ages 13 and 6, and my in-laws (early 80’s) joined us mid-week. I cannot speak highly enough of the property and the attentiveness to our needs by the staff. Everything as pictured and then some. We absolutely loved our stay and would come again in a heartbeat. We are currently trying to plan our next stay. The private area along with convenience to a cenote, town, a grocery store - we did not feel like we missed a thing and everything we needed was so close! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here and would highly encourage you to. I worried our boys wouldn’t like it, but they had so much fun in the pool, along the shore in tide pools, hunting for crabs at night, watching the birds - it was all amazing. Definitely in our top 3 vacations and we hope to go again!

La casa es mejor que en las fotos aún! es super agradable y me encanta que es super tranquila la zona. Eso si, el club de playa es muy pequeño, y el acceso a la playa dentro del club es Mini! no nos quedamos a disfrutar de la playa ahí mismo porque no era nada cómodo. la casa vale totalmente la pena y el moverte al centro o playas cercano es supee rápido

Héctor es muy buen host, nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos. Fue flexible a la hora del check-in. Recomiendo esta propiedad

Cuando vuelva a Cozumel regresaría a la misma casa, me sentí como en mi propia casa y bien recibido y atendido.

This trip was a home run! We could not have been happier with our choice. We were a group of seven adults. The connection the water was incredible from the back deck, living room and third floor. Just breathtaking. Plus the furnishings were perfect for indoor/outdoor living, and the interior design impressed everyone. A few reasonable restaurants nearby, and very short ride to Akumal beach to swim with turtles. Finally, the service/communication from the host was fantastic. Really helpful and responsive. We knew that it wasn’t easy to swim in the sea because of rocky shore line, though we did see people in the water nearby. We travel all over the world and definitely recommend this place.

Susan's house was perfect to host my bachelor party in Tulum! The 10 of us had plenty of space. The patio and pool areas were great gathering spaces. The management team at the Zamas hotel was phenomenal in getting us checked in, keeping the house clean, and booking us chefs, transportation, and excursions. The house's location is as good as it gets. Walk 5 minutes, and you're right in the mix!

El lugar nos pareció increíble desde que llegamos, la atención del anfitrión siempre fue excelente, clara y con recomendaciones, nos ayudó en todo momento, y la casa súper cómoda, las almohadas y colchones eran perfectos para descansar luego de un día largo de tour, recomendados 100%

We had a great time with our son and his family of 8. Plenty of room for all of us. The beds were comfy, plenty of towels. The kids loved swimming in the pool but it was a little chilly for the adults. The water heater could be turned up for showers & washing dishes—there is no dishwasher which I didn’t realize but was not a problem. The location is great, easy walk to many restaurants and the main road to watch the sunset and a Soriana grocery. We felt very safe. When walking turn right leaving the house, first night we went left and it was a busy road and no sidewalk. Fabiola was great! Very helpful, answered all questions very promptly. Will return!!

We really loved staying at Daniel’s place. The location was very convenient, lots of places to walk and explore, great places to eat nearby. The house and grounds are private and very comfortable. We slept great on the mattress and that is sometimes a bit challenging in rental properties. The kitchen was well stocked. We have only great things to say about this rental and we will definitely be back! Thank you Daniel.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION ! This place was a few steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and the best part was that it was lonely ! Juan Luis was very attentive and such a great host ! Only negative comment was that there was hardly ever any hot water. But other than that, it was great !!

fue una experiencia agradable tienes muchas comodidades mucha privacidad nadien te molesta . de regresar volveré a buscar esta casa. la seguridad excelente . las personas de mantenimiento excelente nos dejaron entrar 1 hora antes muy amables.. responden tus mensajes rápido.. en esta casa pase una de mis mejores vacaciones las piscinas completamente limpias . todo esta a tu alrededor tiendas restaurantes .

Stayed at Roberto’s Airbnb for my birthday trip and had a great experience. My group felt safe in the area and in the house. Roberto and Lyssa were very responsive to all of my questions throughout our stay. They also gave me a contact for a driver to use during our stay, which provided a sense of security and comfort knowing they have used him before. There were two times that the power went out, but was the case for the entire street. I believe that this is a normal occurrence, because the security guard was not surprised. It was only off for an hour both times. The Airbnb is walking distance from the grocery store and a couple restaurants, which was great considering how expensive taxis get. The house is also in a pretty central location, taking around 15-20 minutes to get to other popular spots (cenotes, ruins, hotel zone, etc.). It was a very quiet neighborhood - not many people walking around or in the restaurants. Will have to taxi to the hotel zone for a lively crowd.

We stayed here as a family reunion - three kids (6,4,1) and four adults. It was excellent! Felt very safe since it's inside the resort but you could walk around and with paying for passes at Casa Club, you could easily access the resorts (our favorite was Tulum because of the water park for kids plus beach). We loved the ability to jump between doing a resort day and all of the other amazing activities around like Xel Ha, Aktun Chen, the gorgeous Kay Beach resort etc. The best was for all us to be able to all stay in the same house, hang out in the living room. Host was very communicative. The instructions need updating, as I don't believe there is an actual key anymore, only the keypad. But we figured it out pretty easily and everything worked perfectly. Enjoy!!

The house is large and each room with en suite bathroom. Well maintained property with everything working and in great condition. Very private pool/outdoor area that feels like you are in your own oasis. But then just 3 minutes walk on a private path and you are in a gorgeous beach with plenty of space to chill an enjoys the ocean. the house is great but Alma, the property manager, made the trip. She kept the house spotless, made us breakfast every day ( and real Mexican style breakfast and cut fruit for us). We just had to go to the grocery store to bring supplies and she prepared everything fresh every morning. Everything was setup for us to enjoy every day. She makes it feel like you are staying at a 5 star resort having everything tended to. Playa Car it’s own own separate area with great security… everyone inside has to have a bracelet to get in it be a guest. Cuts on the number of people and crowds… but the house ilia just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. SAFE

We had a wonderful time at this condo. The manager (Ksenia) was very helpful, accommodating and friendly. The house was clean and well prepared for all of our needs. You can see that extra thought was taken to make sure we had all our needs taken care. Plenty of cold drinking water prepared. Very private, safe and great location. Plenty of space. The outdoor spaces have lots of plants that add to the natural feeling. Beautiful views from the top floor porch. A very short walk to the water. Includes a parking place. Air conditioning and fans kicks in very quick. Only negative, is that some of the furniture is older, and could be replaced, both indoors and outdoors. Highly recommend this place!! We had a wonderful time!! Would definitely come here again!

Casa Zaba was incredible! The location was perfect—close to everything yet felt private and peaceful. We pre-ordered ATVs through the property, which made it so easy to explore. We used them for quick trips to grab food and check out the nearby nightlife, and even rode them all the way to the ruins and some amazing cenotes. The free cenote included with the Airbnb was absolutely breathtaking, and the private beach access was gorgeous. The property itself is gated, which added an extra level of comfort. I’ve been to Tulum multiple times, and this was hands down one of our best stays. Highly recommend Casa Zaba for anyone looking for an unforgettable experience!

Súper atentos desde el momento de la reservación hasta el momento de la salida, instrucciones muy claras, muy amables todo muy bien. En cuanto a la casa, todo lo que describe es tal cual está. La casa muy cómoda y el lugar muy tranquilo para poder descansar y salir a caminar muy tranquilos. Muy limpio todo. Muy recomendado.

Patricio was a wonderful host and very responsive. The area was perfect, as you are a minute's walk from the beach. The construction was not very disturbing; in the downstairs rooms, there is more noise. The surrounding area has tons of restaurants and shopping, and you are a ten-minute walk from town. The neighborhood felt safe, and the house had everything we needed for an enjoyable week-long stay!

Our family had the most wonderful time here. The house, the pool, the rooftop, the location it was all just perfect for us. We hope to come back!

Cary’s home in Akumal was an incredible place to stay! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable vacation. The location was perfect, close to the beach and close to local attractions, yet quiet enough to feel like a true escape. Cary was an excellent host, always responsive and helpful with recommendations for activities and dining. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway in Akumal!

We really enjoyed Josue’s home. It was centrally located, quiet ,safe and easy to walk to the beach and restaurants . It easily fits 8 people comfortably . The pool is also a short two minute walk. I would definitely bring my family back here .

What a wonderful celebration we enjoyed with family and friends in separate shifts. I walked right out to the beach in the morning and swam in the warm ocean when it wasn’t too windy or void of the sorghum. Sometimes we’d swim at the public beach which was a little walk further north. I especially loved the master bedroom, falling asleep every night to the sound of the ocean right outside our back door and upper balcony. The people were helpful and friendly; beds were comfortable. We didn’t rent a car but took Collectivo bus and taxis. It’s definitely one of the best Air BBBs I’ve ever stayed at. It was clean and comfortable and I highly recommend it. We had 8 people the first week and 5 of us the second week. The store in Akumal is very expensive but the bus to Playa del Carmen was an affordable choice at the local Walmart. 🥺 I would recommend bringing a stash of alcohol. Perhaps supplying the kitchen a little more is our only critique. Loved lying outside on the beach loungers.
