Absolutely beautiful cabin, all in perfect state, including modern and functional kitchen appliances. Great stove for a cozy living room area. Deck is fantastic for meals or going out at night to watch the sky. Bathroom/shower works perfectly. Instructions very clear. Fantastic stay.

The stay at Whale view retreat was spectacular. The views were great and the house was very comfortable. It was everything promised and more!

My group enjoyed this location and place on our trip to Girdwood. The home is spacious, clean, and has all the amenities that you need for a weekend getaway. The main bedroom with the king bed is a spacious suite. The queen room is standard in a good way and the blackout shade was wonderful. The third room with the swing bed is a bit awkward for an adult, but we made due. The hot tub is a nice addition to the experience after skiing all day. Bring sandals to walk from the house to the tub. It seats three adults comfortably. Getting around town was a learning curve for us. If you drive everywhere it's easy enough, but if you prefer to walk or ride transit it can take some time. Overall, I highly recommend this house for a ski trip.

Our stay on Lazy Mountain was wonderful! Gretchen and Al are wonderful hosts ...we felt right at home. Instructions were clear and helpful as we are not used to sharing our daily lives with the moose and bear of Alaska. The view from the property can't be beat, it's pristine! We visited during a rainy period so did not walk the property, but I would imagine that to be beautiful. Our living space was so comfortable...a beautiful home away from home!!

We very lucky to met Mary and stayed her house. She prepared a local delicious dinner and lovely breakfast for our 8 persons group. We all enjoyed that special home make dinner and breakfast with fresh garden seasonal vegetables from Mary. We all appreciated her hard working and friendly assistance during we stayed at her home. We want to say, thank you, Mary and your families. Best wishes to you and your family. I like this simple little place, out of town but not too far out. I’m a simple man and I like a basic no frills place to stay. It’s a good spot for single persons to stay. Moses is my go to when I come up to Fairbanks.

This B&B was one of the highlights of our Alaska trip. Rooms were spacious. with large and super clean bathrooms. One room had a tub and shower, the other a shower. There is a nice library/sitting room and a kitchen well stocked with fruit, yogurt , and nice banana loaves. Highly recommend this facility.

Our group of 7 adults and 2 kids recently stayed at this wonderful property and had an exceptional experience. The home was exactly as described—immaculately clean, stylishly decorated, and stocked with all the amenities one could need. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and put a lot of though into making our stay enjoyable. The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby attractions. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches like a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedding (more comfortable than our own). I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient getaway!

There are only wonderful things to say about this place. Super easy to find. It was everything we expected off the beaten path. Everything about this place was absolutely wonderful. The pups that were on the property were super nice! Just about every single amenity you need to cook a meal. The wood stove was an awesome touch! Kept us warm, was nice and relaxing. If you’re looking to get away from town. This is your place! The farm fresh eggs was a super nice jester along with the French press! Taylor was on point with communicating in a super timely manner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! That’s our spot when we go back to homer for sure!! Thanks again Taylor! 😄

We had such a great time here! It was homey, yet uncluttered with lots of artistic flair. We have 4 daughters (young adults and teen) and this was a great spot to be. There’s room for everyone to be comfortable inside, but lots of options close by for people to break off and do their own thing (library, shops or even the beach). We used the kitchen for inexpensive meal options and they provided plenty of spices, condiments and coffee and tea options. They also had very nice shampoo and soaps. 😄👍

Nice opportunity to see wildlife

I wish I could give 6 stars. I have traveled to many places but this was my all time favorite. There’s such a unique and special feel to this cozy little cabin. The cabin was clean, and had everything we could’ve needed. It was warm, inviting and luxurious at the same time. 10/10 I would recommend to all others. The home was very comfortable for a group of 6! There were different living areas to spread out into, which was nice. Emily came by to meet us and gave us some wonderful suggestions for our trip, I just can't say enough good things! Can't wait to come back during ski season!

We had a great time at the farm(ish)house. Charming and cozy it was perfect for our family. We were greeted with fresh muffins which was a nice touch. Large backyard and amazing views. We got to see the northern lights all over the sky twice during our stay. It was a last minute booking but glad we chose it.

Stellavera was extremely helpful setting up the reservations despite being early in the season. Kelli met me and showed me around. Kelli and Shane are so laid back and easy going, and made me feel comfortable and welcome. The cabin is rustic and simple and is everything I dreamed of. Even the outhouse was nice and was a winner of the “Well Stocked “ award. I was warm enough and had access to extra blankets if needed. I had access to anything I needed to cook with or on. Kelli was a text away and very responsive as was Stellavera. The Homestead is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited and I hope to return someday. I walked down to the beach and spent most of the day before returning for lunch. I was allowed to explore the Fox Cabin and walk around the hayfields to my hearts content. I’m grateful for the privilege to experience such an amazing place.

Our family of 4 with 2 kids ages 14 and 12 were very comfortable in the cabin with all the amenities needed. The cabin is easy to find and roads were clear of ice during our visit in late March. We had excellent Northern Lights viewing right from the front patio, kids enjoyed playing in the snow, playing with Jaimee's friendly dogs, and feeding the horses. The cabin is just a 5-minute drive from central North Pole with restaurants, grocery store. We also loved Rod's Alaskan Guide Service just 10 minutes away with dog mushing and snowmobiling. Fairbanks is an easy 30-minute drive from the cabin. Overall, highly recommend this cabin! Feels like home away from home and is a perfect blend of being out in the country with easy access to town.

The cabin was exactly as shown and described. Awesome location, close to downtown Seward, but tucked away enough in the woods for privacy and wildlife sightings! Comfortable and up to date amenities

Deanna’s lakefront wood cabin was such a magical experience to celebrate my girlfriend’s 40th birthday! She absolutely went above and beyond to make her birthday special, and even saved me in a clutch with candles. She also had 2 friendly horses out front and carrots to feed them. The welcoming firepit already blazing after dinner with smores was amazing, such a caring touch. She had baked a welcoming dessert bread for us to have warm upon arrival too! Even when we were leaving she helped us take cute couple’s photos in front of the lake as it was snowing. The inside was so thoughtfully warm and welcoming. Even a “fireplace” burning on the tv! The wood shelving and loft balcony provided for such a wonderful romantic photo shoot. The large electric blind windows were magnificent! Couldn’t possibly say enough good things! Pleasant, wonderful, so friendly! We would love to stay here again when we plan on making our summer trip!!
