Had a great time, very peaceful, very clean and private!

Nice loft and well equipped. I like the welcome package that Tammy left. It is very thoughtful. Great view of the ocean however to access it you will need a short drive or a short kayak trip across the pond.

The place was great. Easy check in. Everything you needed for the stay was available. I would highly recommend the place to anyone.

We were a group of three moms and four girls ranging from 10-14 years old visiting Prince Edward Island for a week and this was a perfect place for us! Each of us moms had a lovely bedroom and shared a bathroom upstairs and the four girls enjoyed sleeping in the large bedroom in the basement and had a second bathroom down there. The girls also loved hanging out in the detached garage room! This home was a great place for us to enjoy all that PEI had to offer! We drove all the way to the east part of the island to stop at Dalvay by the Sea and then visit East Point Lighthouse, and drove west into Tyne Valley area, went to two shows in Charlottetown, and spent most of our days in the Cavendish area enjoying all of the Anne of Green Gables sights, Cavendish Beach, Avonlea Village, and a day at Shining Waters amusement park. The house had comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels, and felt safe and cozy. We would recommend it to others visiting the area!

We came here for our anniversary trip, see the Anne of Green Gables stuff, and relax. The island is a wonderful and magical place and the Sandcastles Beach House only enhanced these beliefs. The location can't be beat, close enough to the tourist stuff but had the private feel, and being so close to the beach. We slept each night with the door open to the sounds of the waves and geese, loved it! We would sit each morning out on one of the decks drinking coffee, soaking in the sights and sounds. The hosts were amazing in every regard...receptive, knowledgeable of the area, great conversation; like we had know each other for years. When our children were young, they watched "Thomas the Tank Engine". Thomas lived on the fictional Island of Sodor. I am convinced that Prince Edward Island is the embodiment of this island and Sandcastles is a part of it? We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly, highly recommend it to anyone!!!

This beautiful retreat was exactly as described! Immaculate! Marissa and Paul-André were extremely helpful and quick to respond any questions we had! We felt very much at home! The hot tub is extremely near the patio doors which made our daughters who both use walkers have very easy access! They absolutely loved it! We would recommend this place a 100% ! Thank you so much Marissa and Paul-André for being such great hosts! The Scully family ❤️

A great stay! Nancy’s place is clean, really big, well-appointed and comfortable. The beach is a quick walk away and the cottage is remarkably private. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely return.

Just back from a fantastic week at this cottage by the ocean. What a perfect place to relax and unwind, so quiet and peaceful. Cozy, comfortable and welcoming - great to come back to after a day of exploring. The cottage is nicely furnished, very well equipped, has a Weber BBQ that we appreciated. Everything is in working order and wifi worked well. The view is amazing, we spent mornings and early evenings on the comfy porch. We saw great blue herons, sandpipers, ducks, loons and one morning while having coffee a pheasant ran across the yard. Access to the beach at low tide is nearby. Krista responded to our inquiries immediately. The caretaker Al gave us great information and suggestions for day trips. We highly recommend Krista's place and will likely return for some nice ocean air.
