Camp under Blue Ridge Mtn sky river A Frame Cabin

Be lulled to sleep by the peaceful river under the stars of a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain view. We love the island feeling it has with a little log waterfall and a lot of natural sand between our toes. We can provide new queen air mattress for A frame, up to 4 hammocks, or feel free to bring your own, a tent, a small camper, etc. The road in is relatively flat, but is natural ground. A primitive outhouse is on site as well as a gas grill and firewood. Dogs are welcome if picked up after.

Enjoy this 750 sq ft peaceful mountain getaway! It is about 3 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway which is known for its scenery and mountain overlooks. It’s about 6 miles from Stone Mountain Park with lots of outdoor activities like hiking, swimming holes and waterfall watching. If that’s not your thing head over to Elkin, NC and do some wine tours/tasting. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, no need to leave the cabin. There are on-site games and VHS movies. Year round hot tub!

Central heat and air conditioning, gas fireplace, full laundry facilities, high speed Fiber Optic Wi-Fi, 2 TV's, fully equipped kitchen including Keurig Coffee Maker, Air Fryer, pots/pans/dishes. A wrap around porch to rock away the time and fire-pit for s'mores, and a rear covered porch with gas grill. Open parking for 3-4 vehicles and situated on a publicly maintained asphalt road.

Our home is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath post & beam style cabin. It sits on 4 acres with mountain access/views, and river views with easy access. We are directly on the New River with 330 feet of river frontage at the end of a private road with plenty of distance to the closest neighbor. The living room has a beautiful stacked stone fireplace with a pullout couch and 2 sets of French Doors opening onto the front porch and the spacious side covered porch.
