Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

Beautiful A-frame, with sauna and cold plunge tub

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Our Tiny Aframe with bathhouse has everything you need to comfortably spend that amazing night with your significant other. The 12’ x 16’ Aframe has a very cozy, floating style queen bed. Also has a small kitchen area with microwave, stove top, mini fridge and freezer as well as a full set of kitchen supplies. All this is only a short walk (100 yds) from our private lake were you can enjoy kayaking, fishing and/or watching the sunsets.

The cabin is located on 650 acres of privately owned forest accessing the Clarion River and the North Country Hiking Trail, minutes from downtown, Clarion. Take a few steps out the door and trek the North Country Trail along gentle pathways or exert a little more energy to see the Scenic Loops. Next, cool down on your dock on the Clarion River Lake.
