Really great stat at Windmill Farm. Our two boys (5 and 3) loved seeing the chickens each morning and having the farm park so close by was great. They could have spent hours in the excellent soft play barn - and we didn't even get round to all the activities available on the farm. Cabin was lovely, and Stacey and Stephen were really helpful. A great place to stay with two young kids!

We really enjoyed our stay, the pod (pod 2) accommodation was fantastic and fitted our needs as a family of 4, with brilliant views that could be enjoyed from the hot tub. The onsite play park for kids was unexpected but really good and there was plenty of other space for them to play too. We didn't pay attention to which pod we had booked but there are different internal layouts and orientations/locations on the site so something we will be aware of next time we come.

Just as described lovely private airbnb, within driving distance to amenities and restaurants. Peaceful surroundings and great facilities.

Lovely lodge in serene setting - very very quiet on single track road. Cycle paths very close. Sherwood pines centre close. Great stay with two grandchildren and family called in.

We stayed in Luke’s accommodation for my wife’s 40th - from the off Luke was extremely responsive and helpful when planning where to eat and where to walk locally, with lots of recommendations. The pesto at the peacock was a 10 minute drive and a restaurant we can’t wait to return to. The accommodation was easy to find, quiet and secluded. Exactly as described and shown in the photos. The garden area was a sun trap and fantastic place to relax, with the hot tub also a nice touch. We would definitely return and thank Luke for the hospitality.

What a beautiful place, we would definitely return! Heather was a fantastic host. Greeted us with a warm welcome, made sure we were all settled in and even recommended local places to go. Was always on the end of the phone if we needed her. Even let us meet the cows and learn about the farm / milking! The hut in general was fantastic with a bbq, hot tub and fire pit! Would recommend to anyone !!

I loved it so much I have booked to go again, disappointed that the prices are higher. However it was the perfect break that I needed.

Amazing stay and we will definitely be back! The hosts were really helpful and were very efficient in replying. The area is beautiful with amazing pubs and restaurants only a ten minute walk away!

Really comfy beds, and lovely inside fire. The outside cooking areas is amazing. Steve put a fire on for us for our return from a wet day at Alton towers which was a lovely touch. Great stay in a beautiful location.

Ray was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, and was on hand should we have any issue. The lodge is so peaceful and quiet, but very easy to access a lot of places to visit. Would definitely stay here again

What an absolutely incredible place to stay. Such a peaceful area and a cool place to stay. We were provided with everything we needed for our stay from all cooking equipment, towels, bedding, games and even hot water bottles. There was some really kind touches even for our little dog. Overall a fantastic place which I would love to return to one day!

The place is a lot bigger than on the photos. The secluded garden was brilliant for my dog and the big field opposite was an added bonus to walk him. It is very peaceful and I would definitely book it again. Gabby was very quick in replying, when we got lost and needed fire-lighters for the log burner.

Me and my partner had an amazing stay at The Windsor cabin. It had beautiful decor and was incredibly clean. The hot tub was such a highlight as well. Couldn’t recommend here enough. Linda and Hannah were a great help when we had any queries. Will 100% stay here again.

No better way to celebrate our moms 76th birthday weekend. Beautiful to wake up to such a beautiful location, made all the better that the sun was actually shining! The listing location was exactly how described, and it was clean, and comfortable. Julian was responsive and very helpful with all of our enquiries. Already looking to book again later in the year. Pheasant lodge was the perfect stopover stay, the night before a wedding at the local Peckforton Castle! The lodge was situated at the bottom of the Bickerton Poacher Pub campsite in a corner which added to the private feel! In addition to the lodge being great the actual pub at the top of the campsite was fantastic too, we had a great evening meal a 1min walk (if that) from our doorstep! To check in we just headed into the pub where we were greeted by Grace, who was fantastic! She showed us to the lodge and it was clean and well kept, even better than described! My family (including a 5month old) stayed and it was perfect, an added bonus of having a bath as well as shower for the baby! There were so many added touches too, toiletries in the rooms, towels provided, teabags ect, we were very impressed and surprised by this! We were actually disappointed that we were only staying for one night as it was such a lovely place, we would have loved a little bit more time to explore!

I loved my stay here. The location was perfect for my cycling and trips to Burton. Really peaceful surroundings just the odd clip clip of hooves, a very pleasant sound. I haven’t slept this well in ages, the bed was so comfortable. The accommodation had everything you could need. I will be making it my go to place to stay whenever I’m taking a trip to the midlands.

Loved staying at this place. It was close to the city - very accessible and the hosts were great. The place itself was worth the price. Would love to stay here again!

Jess was fantastic—great communication throughout. The cabin was amazing, and the hot tub was the cherry on top! Everything was clearly explained, making the stay easy and enjoyable. It’s a bit rural and tricky to find, but Jess responded quickly and helpfully. Would definitely stay again!

We spent Easter weekend at Lodge Phoenix. The experience was unreal, the beauty unmatched. The place was tastefully decorated. Maria was very responsive and helped us out promptly. Highly highly recommend for a peaceful getaway

Ita and Michael were very welcoming, responsive and helpful and they made us feel right at home, the property is beautiful with great amenities and in such a stunning location, we could not recommend staying here enough!

A great and peaceful stay in the Peak District, exactly as pictured in the photos. We were very grateful to find some breakfast had been provided in the fridge on arrival for the next morning and the restaurant was a beautiful 5km walk along the edge of the lake.

Lovely place, very secluded, perfect for a romantic getaway. I had a minor issue (totally my fault) and was responded to immediately with no problem and a great bit of advice on where we could wander in the expansive grounds. Not easy to walk places, but Uber picks up from the end of the drive if you want to go out without driving. Hot tub was awesome, and the photos don't do justice to the size of the bath. Would love to stay again.

Kathy was a great host. I had an issue with public transport due to the time of night and her husband kindly helped out by giving me a lift. I was made to feel welcomed so I'm grateful for that.
