Welcome our tranquil home in Plymouth. Our house is a restored gold rush era bunk house in the foothills with central air and heat! Every detail and modern convenience has been added while repurposing the historic parts of the property. A one-of-a-kind adventure awaits. House and grounds-within walking distance to 5-star dining and a 10 minute drive to 50+ wineries and shopping. We have over an acre in town with Bocci and games galore. Our license allows six guests, thus we must be firm on that.

Captain’s Cottage is a 3 bedroom one bathroom furnished cottage located in a quiet and peaceful residential area in Ione. A few blocks away (3 minute walk) is the town of Ione. It features a laundromat, general store, pizza , brewery, coffee shop, and restaurants. Locally we have wineries, flowerfarm,caves,gold mining, theater,antiques fishing & boating. Nearby is Plymouth, Jackson, and Sutter Creek . Our own captain loves Lake Amador, Lake Pardee and Lake Camanche all located here in Ione.

The perfect place to getaway or to “work at home” away from home in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, minutes away from Jackson and Sutter Creek. Relax by the private pool during the summer months 10AM-7PM. You will be surrounded by nature, peace & quiet.

The Farmhouse built in the late 1800’s offers three updated remodeled bedrooms each with their own private bathrooms/showers. Relax, enjoy and wash the city away in our lovely vintage claw tubs. Slip into the covers of your luxurious King and Queen size beds with fine linens. Enjoy a cozy pull out couch in the living room. Wrap around porch offers stunning vineyard/sunset views. Life is better on the farm.

Relax and Unwind in Wine Country! Your home-away-from-home is just steps away from OldHwy49 shops, restaurants and wine tasting. Tour over 40 Amador County wineries, historic sites, lakes and trails nearby. Then come home to your old fashioned front porch, relaxing back patio, and large kitchen to enjoy cooking together. I’m sorry but we cannot accommodate work crews due to our rental policies. I wish we had a second house on Airbnb that was tough as a bunkhouse so we could!

The house is located on PT Ranch, a regenerative family farm, ten minutes outside the town of Ione and 20 minutes from the Shenandoah wine region. Recreation includes: biking the country roads, floating the Mokelumne River, touring the Gold Country or exploring the Sierra's (we are 1.5 hour from Kirkwood).

Perfect for a couple or family, with both ready access to outdoor activities and relaxing spaces inside and out. My house is in the Sierras at 4000 elevation off highway 88. It is 40 minutes west of Kirkwood Ski Area, 2 1/2 hours east of Oakland, Ca, 2 1/2 hours from Yosemite, and 1 1/2 hours from South Lake Tahoe.
