this place was an architectural dream! everywhere we turned was another gem to behold! we had a bit of an issue with the heating in the hot tub but management came by to help us out. only thing I wish they were more clear on in the listing is that the second bed is a foam pad that is kept under the dining room table. other than that, I'd totally come back to this one of a kind airbnbs!

Grounds and apartment were well maintained and beautiful. Herbert and his wife were very friendly and helpful and did extra things for us like letting us use their clothes line. The futon in the living room made a comfortable place for my husband to sleep because of his bad back. The neighborhood was safe, quiet and near good restaurant and a bakery. One of the hotels on the beach let us use their pool and beach as long as we ordered food there. They even provided us with towels at no charge.

Hola , mi hospedaje en la casa de Katia fue 5 estrellas es un lugar frente a la playa y a la orilla de carretera fácil de llegar , tenía una playa muy limpia el lugar estaba súper limpio el olor que se siente al entrar es olor a nuevo tiene un cocina muy equipada, la climatización súper bien el lugar estaba súper limpio la piscina tal y como se ve en las fotos las persona encargada del lugar muy amable y servicial todo muy bien si le pudiera dar 10 estrellas se las doy porque el lugar está demasiado bello para ser de aquí de Honduras sientes como que estás en Cancún unos de mis mejores hospedajes en Honduras .

Es mucho más q un espacio, por lo q se pagó obtuvimos mucho más por q es en el centro y todo está a distancia a pie y las bellas playas!

My family absolutely loved our stay in Placencia at Phil and Megan's. The moment we arrived Phil met us and took us up and showed us their home. IT was truly beautiful, we loved the bathrooms! The air units were wonderful and the pool was a refreshing way to end a busy day. Lovely location, just minutes from the beautiful beach, tours, and restaurants. We have a wonderful time and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Muy recomendado , limpio y lindo me sentí como en casa muy cómodo, tenía todo y hasta más, la playa cerca caminando a tan solo unos pasos, muy seguro todo, contestan rápidos recomiendo 100% este lugar

100% recomendado, considero que estaba muy bien ubicado dentro de la zona viva y a una cuadra de la playa. Tiene todo lo necesario para poder cocinar en casa si quisieran hacerlo. Me quedo muy conforme y sin duda alguna regresaría

Todo coincidió tal y como estaba descrito en las dichas de información y descripciones. El anfitrión logró facilitarme de manera puntual toda la información y además era flexible con los tiempos de ingreso y salida. Volvería al lugar definitivamente.

We loved this place. The view is spectacular. Only small suggestion I would say is to put a little refrigerator in the casita side for cold waters and small items. Thank you for a wonderful week.

This property is the place to get if you and your family are looking for privacy, peace, and just get away from the day-to-day. Walk to the beach , enjoy the pool if the ocean is too much :) , play some beach volleyball , and the house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The host was super communicative and helpful and accommodating to a lot of requests of things I wanted to do above and beyond what the place has to offer. Bring your family, bring food to prepare, and enjoy all this property has to offer.

Our stay at Gigi’s place was perfect! The pool was clean and it was nice to have the ac on when we arrived. I would definitely stay again if I am back in the area!

We are a family of 5 and recently stayed at La Vida Belize. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The plunge pool, beach and dock were the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure. We enjoyed being in a quieter area and didn’t mind the distance from the main area of Placencia. We rented a car and explored several areas in Belize during our stay. We used the guestbook for tips about the area and places to eat near Maya Beach. The grounds keepers were friendly and kept everything nice for us during our stay. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. During our week stay, some of the activities we were able to do included: snorkling with Captain Jak’s, visit the Bocawina Nation Park & Zip-line Adventure, fishing, a Monkey River tour and visit some Mayan Ruins. We also spent a good amount of time relaxing and reading on the beach or by the pool. We recommend staying here.

We absolutely LOVED staying at this beautiful home. The house is amazing - exactly as pictured and described. The kitchen is so well stocked! But we were barely inside for the entire week. The location is ideal. We were on the beach and in the water! The paddle board and kayaks were so much fun. We brought our own masks and snorkels and had thoroughly enjoyed swimming/snorkeling right from the house. We could walk down the beach to several restaurants. We rode the bikes to other restaurants. We fell in love with Hopkins and cannot wait to come back and we would definitely stay at Kirsty's house for sure! (While we didn't get a chance to meet Kirsty, we really enjoyed meeting Jay! All of the Luxe staff was so helpful /responsive at all times.

We visited Placencia during Tropical Storm Sara (Nov 2024). As we have never been in a tropical storm (snow blizzards are what we are used to), it was a panic when traveling into one with our 2 children. All we ever want is for them to be safe. Tracy was kind to let us check in a couple hours earlier for peace of mind. Thankfully - the storm hit north of us and the weather improved through out our stay. We love the location - watching and listening to the waves facing the Caribbean, and then having the lagoon on the other side. My kids swam every day in the pool, even when it was pouring rain. Rosa, the caretaker, was extremely friendly and helpful. We would 100% stay here again next time we visit. The use of the kayaks was a great perk. We didn’t use the bikes.

Andrea was a great hostess. She was very attentive and helpful. It was very comfortable for two people, Super well appointed. The sunsets from the lanai were spectacular! Make sure you take advantage of Edward, the juice man, who delivers fresh local juices, and the fish vendor who comes by from time to time. There was great birding from the lanai! Having access a 10 minute walk away to a resort on the ocean side with the breeze, the palm trees, and a restaurant was fabulous. We were there during an unexpectedly wet “dry season“, which made the bugs problematic. The airport noise was a little more than we expected, but you get used to it pretty quickly, and there are no planes flying at night.

Thank you for all your help and support. The places it’s wonderful and I always recommend to go to Tela and Indura to my friends. The Condo it’s beautiful and easy access. The lobby personnel is nice and helpful all the time.

L’endroit était parfait. Piscine, plage, quai, tout était super. Nous avons adoré Sherman, le chien le plus amical que nous avons rencontrés. Le seul bémol est comme dans de nombreux endroit dans le sud, que si vous laisser de la nourriture sur le comptoir de cuisine les fourmis viendront et dévoreront vos provisions. Merci pour tout.

Nos hospedamos en el lugar de Henry y fue una experiencia maravillosa. Mi familia y yo lo disfrutamos al máximo; se sentía como un pequeño paraíso del que no queríamos regresar a la rutina. El hospedaje tenía todo lo necesario y mucho más. La atención de Tony fue excelente, siempre atento y amable. El lugar estaba súper limpio e impecable, ideal para descansar y compartir en familia. Hicimos carne asada y tenía todo lo que necesitábamos para disfrutarla al 100%. La vista es simplemente preciosa. Sin duda, ¡volveríamos una y mil veces más! Full recomendado.

Kimberly’s support, services, recommendations and responsiveness was exemplary. She helped us in so many ways and responded to our questions in a timely manner. The condo was absolutely beautiful and the location was outstanding. The resort was peaceful, protected from the wind and was very private. Long walks on the beach, lounging at the palapa, paddling to the false Caye near by, shopping at the nearby village, swimming off the dock and just lounging on the beach were just a few our highlights here.
