We had a great time and loved the house. It was a perfect trip! Only a few minor issues getting in the front door and turning on one of the air conditioners. Hallin & Co responded immediately, came to the property to address and handle the issues. The house was extremely accommodating to our group and we will definitely plan to rent again.

It was beautiful and peaceful. The house was clean and spacious and if he had any questions or needed help with something she was very responsive. It was a healing trip for our family and exactly what we needed. We hope we can return next year!

What a unique place! It served its purpose well. We felt safe & comfortable during our stay and have no complaints at all.

House has amazing views, comfortable sleeping arrangements and close to breweries and wineries. Also close to Wintergreen. My children loved the ping pong table, adults loved the hot tub. Would stay there again.

Karen was very pleasant & quick to respond. We rented her home for our son’s wedding. She gave great recommendations & took care of a problem right upon arrival. The home was beautiful, we had plenty of space for our family & loved being able to bring our dog. The master bath floor & tub wasn’t the cleanest, I don’t blame that at all on the host, I’m sure it can be hard with cleaners managing a property. And the steps going upstairs weren’t swept. I didn’t want to bother her again, as she had already taken care of a problem for us earlier, so we just went with it, it wasn’t unbearable. Beds were comfy. Towels were nice, washcloths may need a little updating, but overall, it was what we needed & served its purpose.

This house was fantastic and offered an unforgettable opportunity for me and my family to spend a VMI reunion together. The house was very clean and comfortable. Justin even ordered a fire pit for us to use and enjoy. The house is about a 10 minute drive to VMI and W&L. I would definitely recommend this house for a reunion weekend or a place to stay while enjoying Lexington and the surrounding area.

This is our second time staying in a Hallin And Co unit. They are spacious, clean, have comfortable beds, and fully stocked kitchens. We like that they are walking distance to lots of restaurants in downtown Lynchburg. We also appreciate the easy parking right outside the door. We already have our next reservation booked. Highly recommend.

Marie is a fantastic hostess always proactive, she will go out of her way to make you feel at home and the stay more comfortable. I enjoyed watching the chickens and the dog. Definitely on my list to stay again

Rebecca was an outstanding host. An amazing person and a pleasure to be around. The property and house were exactly what we were looking for during our weekend of history. The horses are amazing to be around and the property is so peaceful. It’s a different feel there. The house was beautiful. Highly recommend

We rented the Tree Lodge in Lynchburg, VA for three adults over Easter weekend. It was just what we were looking for in a clean and quiet home near Liberty Univ. where we could prepare our own holiday meal and have a relaxing time. Beds were comfortable, neighborhood was quiet, bathrooms were spacious, and the entire house was clean and well-maintained. The owner, Glenn, was quick to respond to messages and was so kind and helpful from check-in to check-out. Should we return to the area in the future, we would not hesitate to stay at the Tree Lodge again!

This was my first time staying at an Airbnb inside someone’s home and had a great stay! Abigail and her family are great hosts. I loved the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.

The unit was just as described and was very clean and neat. They communicated quickly and had a printed book of things to do in the area, rules of the house, etc.

We loved this home and would definitely stay here again should the need arise. It was very simply and tastefully decorated which helped lend to a very clean uncluttered environment. We cooked dinner and breakfast in the kitchen and enjoyed a very cute coffee/tea bar with all of the supplies including ground coffee. The bathrooms had nice amenities including extra toiletries should you have forgotten an item like a toothbrush or razor. The mattresses are Nectar brand and we found them quite comfortable. We enjoyed a stroll downtown and found a nice street festival with live music. Thank you for making our stay relaxing.

Beautiful place, in a great neighborhood, close to lots of restaurants and parks/trails. The space is super clean and thoughtfully furnished/decorated. Highly recommend.

This is the second time we have stayed here with a small group of staff accommodating us while we attended a local expo as vendors. We like the separate spaces. It provided for everyone's needs in the way of sleeping, bathroom, laundry and kitchen. It is close to shops and restaurants. We will stay again if we get the opportunity. The host is great!

This is a beautiful, spacious home. It has three nice living room areas with TV's, wonderful showers & lots of fluffy towels, comfy beds. big kitchen, and it's in a nice neighborhood. It was perfect for our family of six. There's a tenant living in the separate, upstairs apartment, but you wouldn't know they were there.

Definitely a wonderful location, quiet and peaceful, with so much character and history. Not for everyone with the long driveway- but for our family it was perfect. Sitting by the river is wonderful- saw deer and eagles and osprey. Great hosts.

The home is spacious and very comfortable. A cooks kitchen. Close enough to downtown to walk. The wrap around porch would be great in the warmer weather. Mike gave great instructions. A very nice airbnb experience. It’s an old home with great high ceilings. It was plenty warm and cozy during the winter.

We tremendously enjoyed our weekend getaway! We could not have asked for anything more! Karyl & Matthew provided great suggestions when I inquired about local spots (one of the recommendations ended up being the highlight of our trip!) Easy check-in. Super clean. But most importantly, the location is everything!!! Super private, yet 5 minutes away from some cool history & restaurants! Would definitely book again if I had the opportunity!

Great weekend stay! Nice little place on a quiet street. Perfect for family and close to historical sites we wanted to see. Clean and cute!

Our stay at Manor House was very relaxing and enjoyable. We loved the mountain views and beautiful landscapes of the property. My grandchildren enjoyed fishing in the pond and visiting the peacock and chickens. They totally wore themselves out hiking, swinging and running about. The house was very spacious and comfortable with all accommodations true as listed. We plan on returning in the future. Thank you for sharing this historic paradise!

Traveled from NC to spend Christmas with family. Thankful for the Christmas decorations as this was a wonderful surprise. Comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Highly recommend and we will plan a stay again in the near future.
