It was a rainy weekend but we got great recommendations for places to go! Getting rained in by the fireplace wasn't too bad anyway, what a relaxing visit. We will definitely be back!

We have been staying at the Parsonage now for 5 years and it became our favorite place when we visit VA. Anne is a very generous hostess and she continues to upgrade the house and make it even more comfortable! The mountain views are gorgeous anytime of the year! We love her place, the details, the books, the artwork and the view! We hope to be back soon!

Dwayne‘s home is perfectly curated to our taste. Everything was clean and immaculate. The home is fully stocked for many needs. By the way, there are no TVs in the bedroom if you are one that looks for that. Beds were comfortable. The gated backyard added extra security and allowed our dog to get a bit of zoomies out. Beautiful area, great location to downtown, and I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

The house is really cute! It had everything we needed! The neighborhood is very quiet and it was close to everywhere we needed to go. I also loved that there wasn't a long list of chores before leaving and that we could bring our pup. Great stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The home was spotlessly clean, well kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly communicative, responding quickly to any questions and making sure our stay was smooth. We had no issues at all during our time there, even with our two dogs, who felt right at home. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and welcoming, making it a great place to relax. The desk came in handy to get some work done. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a stress-free getaway. We would absolutely book again! 🌟🏡

Kelly’s place was exactly what we were looking for on our little family getaway. We were pleased with the location, the feeling of seclusion while close to shops and restaurants and the cleanliness of the home. It didn’t feel as small as it appears from the outside - it is cozy and the layout makes the home feel spacious. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect place for our family to meet up & celebrate Easter together. The place was well organized & fully stocked. Comfortable bedding and beautifully decorated for Easter! So many little touches that made our stay fun! Easy to navigate her instructions & Eve allowed us an earlier arrival than we expected. We would definitely recommend & stay again!

It was beautiful and peaceful. The house was clean and spacious and if he had any questions or needed help with something she was very responsive. It was a healing trip for our family and exactly what we needed. We hope we can return next year!

Angie's place is absolutely beautiful. It is perfectly spotless, very roomy, full of light, and the perfect location. The kitchen had all the things we needed, the bed was so comfortable, and Angie even had extra toiletries available. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!

House has amazing views, comfortable sleeping arrangements and close to breweries and wineries. Also close to Wintergreen. My children loved the ping pong table, adults loved the hot tub. Would stay there again.

Karen was very pleasant & quick to respond. We rented her home for our son’s wedding. She gave great recommendations & took care of a problem right upon arrival. The home was beautiful, we had plenty of space for our family & loved being able to bring our dog. The master bath floor & tub wasn’t the cleanest, I don’t blame that at all on the host, I’m sure it can be hard with cleaners managing a property. And the steps going upstairs weren’t swept. I didn’t want to bother her again, as she had already taken care of a problem for us earlier, so we just went with it, it wasn’t unbearable. Beds were comfy. Towels were nice, washcloths may need a little updating, but overall, it was what we needed & served its purpose.

This house was fantastic and offered an unforgettable opportunity for me and my family to spend a VMI reunion together. The house was very clean and comfortable. Justin even ordered a fire pit for us to use and enjoy. The house is about a 10 minute drive to VMI and W&L. I would definitely recommend this house for a reunion weekend or a place to stay while enjoying Lexington and the surrounding area.

Viola’s place was perfect for our family’s stay during Thanksgiving. Everywhere we needed to go was within 5 minutes and there were even great restaurants within walking distance. We felt right at home and would recommend this for any family coming to visit the area!

Inside of the house probably the nicest Airbnb we have stayed in. The beds were very comfortable and it was spotless. The location wasn’t terrible, but did seem to be a little rougher area. Plenty of dishes and utensils…minimal cooking pots and pans. The coffee make, Keurig and tea kettle were really nice to have. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Visited from DC, looking for a weekend getaway. We got what we were looking for. The expectations were well managed by the photos and description. The space was really comfortable—all kitchen necessities available (we made breakfast both mornings), living room with streaming capabilities, bathroom with shower and tub, and one bedroom (cozy). It felt like one of those Safari hotels where the animals are right outside your window, except here it was cows and their calves—which was cool for us not being around farms very often. Surprisingly, there was no smell inside or outside on the property with all the animals. There were flies, but we kept the doors closed and there were no issues with bugs. Mattress was pretty firm. Plenty of seating outside (benches, rocking chairs, tall boys). Pasture and view of mountains were beautiful. The host was responsive and friendly. Loved the stay here and already talking about visiting again!

Marie is a fantastic hostess always proactive, she will go out of her way to make you feel at home and the stay more comfortable. I enjoyed watching the chickens and the dog. Definitely on my list to stay again

We enjoyed our overnight at this house. It was quiet and clean. The weather was too windy to use the firepit which very nice, but didn't want to cause a fire due to very high winds. It was however ready to go with a the pit ready to light and fire wood nearby. Thank you for allowing us to use your house

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s cabin. The space was clean and comfortable, and the views of the surrounding property were beautiful. Sarah went out of her way to make us feel both welcome and at home. In fact, she left us breakfast supplies, including fresh eggs and homemade muffins! (She even left us supples to make s’mores!) The location was super convenient for us to visit the Virginia Safari Park and the Natural Bridge State Park as well.

We loved our stay at Kaylee's home. We were in town for my sister's wedding, great location for everyone staying in town and great space for pre-wedding festivities. Kaylee was very accommodating and communicative when we had questions. Quiet neighborhood and great backyard. Close location to grocery stores and coffee! Would stay here again!

Traveled from NC to spend Christmas with family. Thankful for the Christmas decorations as this was a wonderful surprise. Comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Highly recommend and we will plan a stay again in the near future.

Stop! Make sure you read my review! We booked the smaller tent site but because of nature it was a bit muddy so Tammy upgraded us free of charge! To the other tent site on a platform which was awesome! Gabe took us on the gator to our spot and was very welcoming and accommodating, my friend had a bad leg so we had to call Gabe out to help gator us down to the pond but we’ll work it! Caught a bluegill and saw bass and turtles at the small pond. Jim came out to check on us as well to make sure we had everything we needed, extremely friendly staff and I would recommend this location to anyone looking to get away and be in nature! This location was perfect and the breeze was awesome in the mountains it was nice and cool! Great tent! I loved it and would recommend to everyone! Well worth every penny! Thank you Tammy for being so kind and responsive! Tammy is the absolute best! We will be back! 💪
