Was a bit upset about the pool not being able to heat up but the kids still enjoyed themselves. Overall great stay

We loved staying at Shelli’s home in Monterey Dunes Colony. Every room was set up nicely and clean, and you could tell Shelli has put a lot of care into the home. There were 7 of us and each family member enjoyed their stay. We love staying at Monterey Dunes Colony because the location can’t be beat. Every home has their quirks but honestly we didn’t find any at Shelli’s. It was comfortable to hang out and enjoy the beach and scenery, and close enough to outdoor activities and the aquarium. The living room is set up comfortably for a big group, while offering privacy too. It was a restful and rejuvenating getaway! We plan to book again.

What to say. It was so peaceful we kept taking naps. It is a beautiful home nestled in a rolling hillside. The design is spacious with enough room to congregate with or separate from your travel companions. The backyard garden provides beauty and a home for a variety of birds, squirrels, and lizards. You might even spot a few deer at the top of the hillside. Sean and Wendy were great hosts. They responded to my requests quickly and went the extra mile to accommodate our requests. This is a definitely a home to return to.

Everything about our stay was fantastic!! The beds, the pool, the town…the three of us loved this Airbnb and look forward to coming back. Swimming in a heated pool in the winter is a heavenly experience.

Such a nice place to stay in Silicon Valley. Tucked back into the beautiful hills, with a walking loop through the oak trees just down the street. Responsive host. A perfect retreat.

Great location, great stay. Beautiful and comfortable space. Worked well for our family of 4. The third bedroom felt a little far away to have our littlest stay in alone but thankfully the second bedroom had a large bed for both kids. Wagon and chairs provided were great for the beach.

The house was great for our family stay. Lots of space, all on one level, and beautiful outdoor space. We travelled with our kids and they had a great time in the pool :) Note there is extra cost if you want the pool to be heated. Thanks for a great stay!

We spent a long weekend at Lauren's place and it was a wonderful, relaxing home away from home. Check-in was super smooth and we absolutely loved the area the listing was in. It's walkable (or a very short drive) to many local eateries, breweries, shops, and cafes on the west side and there's also plenty of nature-oriented things to do since it's so close to the ocean — hikes, beaches, walks, parks etc. The listing itself was very clean and had everything we need. Lauren even left some snacks and drinks for us as a welcome gift which we thought was very sweet. The kitchen is well stocked for your needs there. The one small setback was that it didn't have a a full sized refrigerator so the frozen foods we bought didn't quite fit into the mini fridge's freezer section. Everything was spotless and though it was raining while we were there, we would definitely come back and enjoy the patio space next time. Highly recommend this listing for a peaceful getaway to Santa Cruz.

We had a great stay! Five of us coworkers shared the house, and it accommodated us perfectly. Everyone was comfortable, we all slept well, and there was plenty of space for getting ready in the mornings. The home is charming with a cute beach-themed decor. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet, and Janiece provided clear, detailed instructions that made check-in and the stay smooth. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. Ian’s place is cute, comfortable, and close to everything but still nice and quiet. Beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen was spacious and well-stocked. My dogs had a great time walking through the neighborhood to the beach and hanging out in the fenced in backyard! The hot tub was a highlight, and Ryan (Ian’s brother) was awesome—he spent nearly a whole day cleaning it after the previous guests to make sure it was perfect for us. Communication with him was excellent. Would definitely stay here again!

We are repeat guests at Murthy's place. It is ideal for a couple who wants to easily walk to 2 great grocery stores plus Bevmo and hang in or wander out and simply walk to numerous restaurants, shops, etc. That said you are located on a very private and quiet street. The kitchen is well stocked with appropriate ware. The bed was super comfortable and the couch in the main room converts to a bed or just a get spot to watch the numerous channels available to you. Murthy and Rima are such kind hosts! We got a personal welcome letter and a number of treats they left. They are great communicators and offer lots of information and guidance about the area if needed. One of our favorite parts about the unit is the great skylight in the bathroom. Its fun to shower with that as your only light!! There were lots of towels, nice soap and shampoo too. There were a ton of amenities we could have used but our trip was short. Things like the little washer / dryer in the unit are a great hit. Awesome!

I LOVED this place. It was so beautiful on the inside and out. Each room was so spacious and organized. Also, the walk from the house to the beach was doable and super convenient.

I took my young nephews and their parents to go to Santa Cruz Boardwalk for their spring break . Rex’s house is just perfect fit for us, just like staying with a friend or relatives house , very homey, enough space for a group . We enjoyed walking to downtown and have a bite to eat and drinks for adults . Bed and linens are super comfortable. Thanks Rex

Wonderful space! Comfy, charming, well appointed, clean. Specifically, an extremely comfortable bed. Perfect for a single person or couple, with walking distance to the beach. Andrew and Teyara were flexible and communicative. We’d definitely come back!

I stayed a few days in Nalin's charming home while visiting relatives in San Jose. The home had everything I needed, and was comfortable & cheerful. I especially liked the coffee table in the front room that converts to a desk. I had a big data collection project to work on while I was there, and the space was great for spreading out and getting the work done. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. I was especially delighted by the little lights accenting the front yard at night. The house is a short drive from shopping & restaurants. Beds were really comfy. Lots of thoughtful details. I would definitely stay again.

Sun was very helpful and communicative. Sun’s place is a short drive to some lovely beaches, close to a nice park, and centrally located for all the activities we had planned. We had 4 young kids with us (ages: 1, 3, 6, and 9), and it was very family and kid-friendly. Would recommend highly!

Had an amazing time at Louise's place for our mini family reunion. Place was set up great for two families and was especially helpful for our toddler with the baby gates already on the stairs and the child lock on the games cabinet. The house was exceptionally well appointed with beach toys in the garage, games, books, and even kids place settings. Would absolutely stay again!

Amazing location near the beach and beautiful home. We especially loved the backyard and patio. The hammock was so comfortable and the boche ball court with sand toys were a hit with our family. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area!

We had a long girls weekend at Sarah’s home. It was perfect and we loved the location, how centrally located it was to Santa Cruz, Monterey, beaches and so much more. The home was cozy and all the girls said the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked along with the linen closet. We would absolutely go back again. Sarah was an amazing host.

Our new Santa Cruz favorite airbnb! Comfortable, great location near the boardwalk, but not too close....just perfect, quiet, tons of space, so much thought put into the furnishings, well stocked kitchen - had everything we needed. An added plus, is the accommodation for little young ones- our daughter and her grandchild came over for dinner and the highchair was perfect. The only criticism I can think of, is it would be nice to have operable windows in the living room to have some fresh air- but that's it. All in all, this is a wonderful home away from home.

I wish I could rate this 10 stars. This was by far the best AirBnB experience my family has had. The house was pristinely clean. I was shocked how kid friendly the property was with board games, more books than the listing showed, chairs, beach items, and even down to have sensitive shampoo for guest if they needed it. Liz also accommodated an early check in request. The stroll to the beach is roughly a quarter mile and is extremely easy to walk, even with a toddler. Thank you Liz!
