David's place is a top-floor apartment in a kibbutz. The space is beautiful—well-apointed and spotless (better than the photos), the kibbutz is walkable (a couple of places to eat, a grocery, even a pharmacy where I was able to get some Advil). The Ein Gedi Hotel is a couple of minutes' drive within the kibbutz, and the spa is available for treatments, a Dead Sea water floating pool, etc. A short drive to the trailhead where you can hike up to the Ein Gedi spring, natural pools at the top of Wadi David, etc. A fantastic spot. David was kind and helpful, even providing some dates and a bottle of wine for my stay. Highly recommend this place.

It’s good place to rest while travel in the area. And good value for money. The host was very nice and let my son to play with her dog. If you travel along Israel trail and would like to get some more comfort this place is a good choice.

A beautiful, comfortable and charming place to stay. Conveniently located and close to stunning open dessert views. The place is clean and inviting with finishing touches and decorations that added to our stay. The garden was lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside on the many different options for seating. The host was friendly and helpful we couldn't have asked for more! Hosting seemed a true labour of love Thank you so much! We hope to come again

This for me is the real Airbnb experience! We felt at home. Ami's family welcomed us immediately, providing us with all the info we needed. The room was absolutely what we needed: it has private access (so we didn't disturb the family and we had the freedom to come back whenever we wanted), there was everything needed in the room to have breakfast and to take a hot shower and in the morning we also took advantage of the small terrace to have a quiet breakfast under the rays of the sun. The house isn't exactly close to the Dead Sea but I think it's even better: you will have the opportunity to reach Arad in about 30 minutes crossing the desert, and enjoy the view of the dead sea from above. Absolutely recommended! I would like to thank Ami for the suggestions especially the amazing hummus we had for lunch :)
