Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

The Sugar Shack

Very comfortable & very private cabin, set in the Pine trees. You feel as though you are camping but with all the comforts of a cozy cabin. The lighting system is 12 V. Also has a 12 V. socket for charging phones. Excellent spot to hone your bushcraft skills!! Also an excellent winter get away, cabin is very warm and cozy with the Jotul woodstove for warmth. (must have woodstove experience). We are sorry but we do not allow dogs or cats due to hair allergies.

Pretty Stoney Lake Cabin Suite New rates Nov/ Dec

Guests have their own cozy studio apartment, which is private and located on the ground floor with their own entrance. It does Not include the entire cabin. Has a kitchenette with BBQ outside. The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year.

Quaint and cozy 1 bedroom cottage tucked along the southeastern shore of a small, quiet lake. Recently renovated, the cottage is the perfect romantic getaway. It's located 1 km from snowmobile/ATV trails, 15 minutes from Bancroft and 45 minutes from Algonquin Park. The cottage features a spacious combination living room/kitchen. The space also features 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom off the upper level loft. The bird's nest solarium (accessible via one of the bedrooms), is a great lookout.
