Staying at Neil's was great! He was helpful with suggestions for hikes and directions. They provided a wonderful breakfast and the town was lovely, the views amazing. Thanks Neil for a terrific stay!

Big comfortable room with amazing views. A very effective standalone electric heater is provided to keep out the sea chill. Breakfast was delicious and prepared using good quality ingredients. Do give yourself a minimum of an hour to enjoy it to the full. Avril provided us with interesting insights and useful information relating to our travel plans. Many thanks..

Fiona is a fantastic host, and she cooked us an excellent breakfast! She made sure we had everything we needed and more. She made us dinner reservations and gave us recommendations of things to do throughout the day. We are looking forward to our next trip and plan to stay with Fiona! I highly recommend!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und konnten vor dem Check-In bereits unser Gepäck abladen. Wir wurden mit Tee und Kaffee versorgt und das Frühstück wurde uns aufs Zimmer gebracht. Gute Lage, um zum Loch bei Finlaggan zu wandern, die Whiskydestillerien Caol Ila und Bu nahaiban zu besuchen und an der Fähre in Port Askaig im Hotelrestaurant essen zu gehen.

You can’t put a price on meeting a host like Karen. Her interesting life experiences, her current working in the arts and her social life, her kindness and her wonderful home made breakfasts made our 5-night stay wonderful. She gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit. Our room had the most amazing view. (You need to stay more than one or two nights for this room). The house is full of art works from her many years of design but also others’ art too. She was kind enough to show us her studio. As the week went on we felt like we had made a friend rather than just a live in landlady. (She is not at all intrusive - very sensitive and allowed us our privacy). We shall miss her but plan to return again soon, hoping for better weather to visit the islands (ferries are close by - excellent location). As we left, potholes in the driveway were being filled in. We had a fabulous 2 night stay at Crinan Ferry. Stephanie and Adrian were very welcoming and their b&b was warm, cozy, and peaceful. The breakfasts were excellent, with a varied choice. We had the 3 course meal with local and seasonal ingredients - lovely. Nothing was too much bother for them, and their love for the area is clear to see! We would definitely come back in the future! This is a real gem. It is very close to the ferry terminal to Iona, and it is easy to walk to Iona or around Fionphort. John helped me book a boat trip to Staffa. He made the call himself and made sure I could pay on the boat. The breakfast is cooked to order and is delicious - lots of fresh local and homemade choices available. John couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. Although there is only one restaurant in town, it is right next door and the food was very good. I booked my meals there in advance based on John's detailed instructions before I arrived. Overall, one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed at.

Whether you’re headed to the area or just looking for a peaceful get away in the west islands… this is THE spot. Situated in the midst of beautiful surroundings, the accommodation itself is fantastic with brilliant cooking and hosting by Zuzanna and Elfick. Very flexible and had great local suggestions. The facilities are brilliant and they make a real effort to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Worth the money. Go for it. We plan on returning.

Had the perfect stay. Beccy is lovely, great communication, loads of helpful hints and tips. Best air bnb I’ve stayed in, amazingly stocked kitchen, really comfortable beds. Sets the standard for what an air BnB should be. Beautiful location - the baby lambs were a highlight. Will be back, can’t recommend highly enough

Wir hatten gemeinsam mit unserem Hund eine wunderschöne Zeit bei Brenda. Unser Zimmer, das Haus und auch Arrochar waren eine optimale Basis die Gegend zu erkunden. Das fußläufig erreichbare Pub war sehr hundefreundlich und sehr lecker. Genossen haben wir auch das Frühstück mit wechselnden Käsesorten und den besten Pancakes außerhalb Amerikas!

By far the BEST airbnb I’ve ever been too! And in over 10 years of using airbnb, that says a lot. Lawrence and his wife are simply the kindest most welcoming host my partner and I ever met. We truly felt like we were coming home after a long day of travel. I just have one dream now and it’s to go back and for a longer time. If I could give 6 stars out of 5 if I could!

Our stay with Jen and Mike was lovely. They are excellent hosts and seem to have thought of everything needed to make one's stay comfortable and relaxed. Delicious breakfasts brought to your door, an excellent shower, lovely view and window seat to enjoy it from, local maps, guides and books and very helpful recommendations. I would have no hesitation in recommending High Oatfield to anyone travelling to Mull. Thank you both.

We felt spoiled at Ronachan's farm. The bedroom was a very large one and all the furnishing was elegant and comfortable. The bathroom is bigger than average and with a powerful shower. Breakfast was very good, a wood fire made the room very cosy and warm. The food was delicious, a great selection of homemade spreads, bread had just been baked and still warm. Andrea is passionate about food and it was great to chat to him about all the produce of Mull of Kintyre.

I had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Yorick's home that has been built with much thought and love. They have done a great job at carving out a safe space, which is further amplified by the vast nature and stillness at the doorstep. Meals using vegetables from the garden with other guests facilitated eclectic discussions and I learned a lot. A great wee get-away.

Robert is a friendly host and very quick to respond. He gave us a warm welcome. Storing our bicycles was no problem. Everything was as discribed, two well decorated sitting rooms, bed & shower were good and self service breakfast offered a lot of choice. Since we didn't have a car with us Robert even drove us to the pub. His B&B might not be in the village but it's definately worth the visit if you are looking for some peace & quiet, birds (a woodpecker came to eat in the garden!) and a good host!

We came in by boat and the accomodation was perfect for our requirements. The packed breakfast was perfect and delicious. A very thoughtful addition to our stay. We will be back.

Booked Rm 6 for a one night stay, great view over the marina. Clean and comfortable, so happy with our stay. The breakfast option was fine, however think a small fridge in the room would be good for fresh milk, yogurt. Inn downstairs is a little tired but staff and service was very good. Kate A

The location is very close to port Ellen, but has a very peaceful country feel. The sunsets were beautiful….we saw deer, pheasants, and rabbits in addition to the cattle and sheep, in the glen across the road from the residence-every day. It was very comfortable and well maintained, and had a very comfortable homey feel. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wanted to stay and explore the island.
