Ryochi is an incredible host! He truly made our experience in Koyasan unforgettable. From the beginning, he shared thoughtful recommendations for restaurants and experiences, tailored to what we were looking for. He checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly, and even kindly picked us up and dropped us off at the station. The Airbnb itself is pristine, beautifully designed, and filled with a calming, cozy atmosphere that perfectly reflects the peaceful spirit of Koyasan. Ryochi went above and beyond for us, and we’re so grateful for his kindness and hospitality. I can’t recommend this Airbnb highly enough, it’s the perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Koyasan.

We stayed for a couple of nights at Genchiros’s place to complete the Koyasan Choishi-Michi trail. I have to say this was one of the most enjoyable stays on our trip to Japan thanks to Genchiro, who provides homely experience to travallers coming to stay in his little house. The location of the house is ideal to feel peaceful before any hikes or activities you want to do in the area. Koyaguchi is a beautiful place to be on its own and the little house is a reflection of the beauty this place holds. Inside the house you will find everything you might need during your stay and Genchiro cares enough to explain how to use all the things in the house in great detail, so its easy for you as a guest to feel at home. Overall, this experience could not be better. Thank you, Genchiro!

Had an amazing time! We stayed at this place to visit Nitama at nearby Kishi station. The host Hiroe was super friendly and drove us to the station and grocery store. The house is gorgeous and exactly as described. 10 out of 10 would stay here again!! Thank you Hiroe!

We spend a week here and had a really nice time. The house is spacious and in a beautiful, peaceful location near a forest and creek. We felt very comfortable. Our host was super friendly and forthcoming, giving us lots of great recommendations and even helping us with a reservation at a local restaurant. We’d definitely stay here again :)

This was the most beautiful location we stayed in our whole trip. If you’re the type to sit with a tea and just stare at nature for hours, this is the place. It’s the right the bend of the river up on a little cliff side. The house is cool and clean, full kitchen, lots of warming options, view from the whole living room. The two bedrooms are like bunks with a twin bed in each, not really full rooms. We actually pulled the mattresses into the living room where there was a floor heater to make a Japanese style bed on the tatami mats so we could sleep together as a couple. So it worked out quite alright.

Beautiful well preserved Japanese traditional house. Spacious and homey as described. There is a nice and quiet courtyard as well. Really love the citrus there. A convenient store is just within walking distance. Staying here is enjoyful and relaxing. Our host is always responsive and provided almost all amenities we need during the stay. Hope we would have a chance to stay here next time. Tips for height more than 175cm people, you should be careful about the beams over your head.

What are great place to relax, nothing but nature - a babbling brook and and super tall tress. Its was the perfect place to end our hike. Lots of amenities in the house and host is a really really nice person. Clean and new.
