The main living area was the former pub's saloon bar, and in tribute to the building’s rich history has been fitted with a copper-topped bar, a perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while looking out across the water. In keeping with the pub theme, there's a second “breakfast and coffee bar” next to the kitchen, an ideal spot for a leisurely morning read. The former beer cellar has been converted into a cinema and is now a secret haven to unwind and indulge a media fix. Guests have access to fast, reliable WiFi in every corner of the property and a large washer and dryer for their personal use. Our home and Annexe is situated just off the main road in the village of Lydden where we are surrounded by a National Nature Reserve and have access to beautiful walks on the chalk downlands and the Whitecliffs of Dover Coastal Walk is also close by. The village of Lydden has good transport links being adjacent to the A2 connecting Dover to London and within the easy reach the High Speed rail route to London St Pancras, Dover ferry port and the Eurotunnel.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Stay and Swim is just a couple of minutes walk from the beach at Westbay and the indoor pool, with endless swim current, is available all year round. The property has a private garden with seating area and newly refurbished rooms with sky views. Rest assured Nick holds a Level 3 qualification in pool plant operation so we know to make sure the pool is always clean and healthy.

The Yard Rye

The Yard is a two-bed interior-designed cottage in the citadel of the beautiful Cinque Port town of Rye. It is situated down a cobbled passageway next to a pretty tea room. PLEASE NOTE – The property can sleep up to two adults in the master bedroom and one child in the single, with a pull-out camp bed if needed for an extra child. We also have a travel cot for an infant. Please be aware we have a steep staircase.
