I stayed here with my family of 4 and our dog. We absolutely loved the cabin! The location and aesthetic of it was exactly everything we were looking for. Arion & Wendy we’re very accommodating and responded back in a timely manner. The cabin is just how it looks! It’s a nice getaway from the city! We’d love to come here again for sure!

We had an awesome time in and around the cabin. The creek flowing created a beautiful atmosphere throughout our stay.

Love this cabin! This is our second time staying here and it’s a joy. The fire pit is a good time and the DVD selection has some classics for entertainment. Off grid feel with access to a good hike down the road.

Cozy Getaway Close to Town – Loved the Hot Tub! This cabin was the perfect little escape! It’s nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. The location is great — tucked just far enough away to feel private, but still only a short drive to town for groceries, restaurants, and a coffee run. The cabin itself is clean and comfortable. The bed was surprisingly comfy, and the kitchen had just enough to cook simple meals. The real highlight, though, was the hot tub. So nice to soak in it at night under the stars — super peaceful. If you’re looking for a chill spot to unwind with easy access to town, this cabin’s a solid choice.

I chose this cabin specifically to celebrate my mother’s birthday, just one week to the day before the WNC floods. She was just awe struck the whole weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Nestled beside a tranquil brook, this cozy cabin is the perfect retreat for those looking to unplug and unwind… or use as a home base as you see all the sights around it! Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers a serene escape with the soothing sound of running water that beckons you to relax. It has two patios overlooking the beautiful river below so you can sit and enjoy. The cabin's rustic charm is complemented by modern amenities, making it a seamless blend of comfort and nature. This hidden gem is a sanctuary of peace! The only con I can imagine is the master bathroom is very petite, but there is a second, larger bathroom.

We had a short stay on our trip to the coast, but will be back with out a doubt. The A frame is so cool and I loved the craftsmanship and little details they put in it. The area was quiet and so pretty, thank you for this beautiful experience!

The utmost in cozy comfort Mountain City Mini has all the modern amenities of home while being surrounded by the wonders of nature. This tiny home is secluded in a wooded valley yet it’s accessible to restaurants and shopping with the small town charm. We enjoyed a restful weekend away and will definitely stay here again!

This stay was amazing! The views are breathtaking, no matter the weather! There were plenty of deer and baby bunnies to keep me entertained. The home is very relaxing, the neighbors are friendly and quiet. Paula was a great host! This location is perfect for visiting Stone Mountain NC and Grayson Highlands VA state parks- highly recommended!!

This place was great. My family and myself had an awesome time. The house was spectacular. This was our first time staying in a tiny house and it did not disappoint. Everything was comfortable and played out perfectly. Was just right outside of town but far enough to be quiet. Thank you Janet and family for letting us enjoy your place.

Absolutely beautiful place. The bathrooms and tubs were honestly the standout of the whole house. The kitchen was fully stocked with amenities. The exterior porch was great for stargazing.

I thanked Lisa for building a cabin that was perfect for me. Fire place, singing creek at the end of the yard, close to everything and tucked away nicely. And the most comfortable chairs for reading. The wi-fi was strong enough to reach to the creek. Which allowed me to watch the PBS Newshour by the creek….but maybe I should have paid more attention to the creek and less attention to the news. Great place!

Kirstin’s tiny home cabin was exactly what we were looking for! It is absolutely adorable, and super comfortable! We would stay here for a longer time if we ever get the chance because the amount of storage is ample! And all the details like hooks on the walls (everywhere!), beautiful mosaic art pieces, and cozy fireplace make it easy to feel right at home. Kirstin was an incredibly responsive host and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you Kirstin! My daughter and I had a wonderful stay and look forward to booking with you at one of your other properties someday soon!

Great place to relax for the night during a long drive. Love all the friendly animals. I also appreciate pet friendly accommodations. Tammy was really kind. This little farm is lovely, and the tiny house has everything a person needs. The location would make a great home base for someone wanting to explore the area. The lake is nearby, and historical Abingdon is close too. For the record, DoorDash delivers to the farm, which was handy for me. Highly recommend.

This cute tiny house cabin was in a great location to do a variety of things. It’s close to Boone, Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. The blue ridge parkway is close but many spots are still closed due to Hurricane Helene damage. The house was as described. Appliances are good quality and there was plenty of space for 2 people and our dog. The walks in the neighborhood are lovely as it’s along the river. The owners left lots of suggestions for places to go and things to do in their welcome guide. Hot tub is a little older but in good condition. It’s small, fitting 2 people. We had an extreme amount of large black ants on the floors. It’s that time of year. We contacted the property manager and they came out to spray very quickly. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again!!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay in Nicole's airstream camper. It is such a magical spot with great amenities. The hot tub after a hike on an evening with cool mountain air was a highlight for us. It is a perfect spot to stay for a getaway in Boone. Nicole is very responsive and friendly and wants to make sure you are comfortable during your stay. Though you are right next to the house, there are plenty of privacy fences and it still feels like you are very secluded in the woods. You have all the basics in the kitchen and a thoughtful selection of teas and snacks and are equipped for you to have a good cup of coffee in the morning. We didn't find the driveway in a non-AWD car that difficult to get up to the property but I have driven on these types of narrow, steep, gravel driveways before so that is something to keep in mind if you don't have AWD (and something Nicole makes sure is mentioned in the description). We really hope to be back some day!

Wonderful place to hang our hat for a couple of nights as were meeting up with cousins in the area to get reaquainted. Loved the privacy and uniqueness of the property. It served us very well and Edward was very responsive to the few questions we had. We had a water main break and were without water for a few hours but he let us know that and also let us know when the water service had been restored. Loved the place, if in the area again, we'll be sure to see if it's available again! Thanks.

Lovely little cabin with beautiful surroundings. I wish I could’ve spent more time there, enjoying the property but I was only in town for a day. Bed was super comfy, kitchen has everything you need to make your own food. Compostable toilets, totally no big deal and I did appreciate the fact there are two of them, one upstairs in the loft so you don’t have to use the one outside downstairs at night. Hosts were very friendly and super responsive!

This house was so so awesome! The views are incredible, and the whole house is organized so well—we loved our stay!

The AirBnB was lovely, close enough to hear the New River at night with a window open and close enough to most major towns. I would suggest checking out the Todd Mercantile store if you rent this AirBnB. Lovely old store and a neat way to look at history.

Comfortable and relaxed stay. Perfect for 2-3 guests. Well furnished and has all the amenities.

Sara’s place was peaceful and stunning. The view over the hills and valley by the lake was incredible. Cozy inside, with a beautiful porch and great seating spots around the water to relax and take it all in. Pitch black nights with perfect sleep.
