What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

Spacious accommodation with nice views. We were given clear instructions and met on arrival. The fireplace Waa an added bonus. Not far from the Spa Valley railway and other attractions. Recommend for a weekend away or even a longer stay.

Beautiful location! Really enjoyed the stay at the barn - it’s a gorgeous space with beautiful hot tub. It has everything you need for a relaxing break and it is very close to the coast. Would def recommend

Jenny & Lisa both responded really quickly to messages and proactively sent really useful extra info on how to get there so we arrived stress free! Lovely barn conversion in beautiful countryside. Very clean & tidy throughout & as described. Perfect base for us to explore nearby attractions. Excellent local & wider recommendations in the info book with OS Map for walks if needed. We were a party of ten adults and one child staying at Martin’s home for the weekend. The property was superb, wonderfully decorated and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The gardens were beautiful. We were lucky to be blessed with fabulous weather and made the most of it. We were also lucky to be visiting during lambing season. Watching lambs being born was quite an experience. I would highly recommend this property and hope to revisit again one day

We really enjoyed our stay at The Piggery. It is an attractively decorated cottage and everything that you need for your stay is provided. The setting is peaceful and picturesque and there are lots of things to do nearby. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and there are some lovely walks just outside the door.

Our family enjoyed a three night stay and there was so much to do and see. The accommodation was excellent with very high standards. Our host was very welcoming. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Hilary.

We had the most wonderful stay at Alice and Alan's cozy cowshed! The space was incredibly warm and inviting, providing a perfect retreat for both of us. Alice and Alan were exceptional hosts, always available to offer assistance and making sure we had everything we needed. They even allowed us to use their beautiful garden, which was such a lovely bonus. One of the highlights was when Alice and Alan kindly offered to drop us into town, saving us the hassle of getting a taxi. They also gave us great recommendations for cabs to get home later on. The stay was extremely nice, and we absolutely loved every moment. We would 100% go back and highly recommend this wonderful spot to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing getaway!

My 5 year old daughter and I spent a night here and it was absolutely blissful. She woke up and immediately wanted to see the lambs and spend time with a dog wandering around. We will be back as both she and I enjoyed it so much. Charlotte was so kind and even gave me some toothpaste I'd forgotten. Book if you can!

We had a lovely weekend stay in Sarah and Marks beautiful property to celebrate a friends significant birthday. The house was one of the best air bnb's we have ever stayed in. Everything we could have wanted or wished for was there. The house is beautifully decorated, supremely comfortable, cosy and welcoming. It is situated in a quiet location with far reaching Sussex countryside views. We were warmly welcomed by Mark and Sarah who were around should you need anything but not intrusive. We can't thank them enough for having us to stay into their stunning home, everything was just perfect. Thank you also for the generous gifts of wine, eggs, birthday cake with candles, local jam, milk and the happy birthday banner, all of which were much appreciated. Thank you so much.

Absolutely amazing, possibly the nicest host I've ever had. The place was fantastic, placed in a gorgeous location, had everything we could have wanted and close enough to town we could get in and do everything we wanted, we'll be keeping an eye out next time we're staying in the area.

We had a perfect weekend stay whilst attending a wedding at Cliffe Church and Cooling Castle. The accommodation was a 5 minute walk to the church and 5 minute drive to Cooling Castle, which was extremely convenient with two small children. The accommodation was beautiful, surprisingly spacious and clean. The parking facilities were great and the accommodation was very easy to find. Absolutely magical! Myself, Vicki, and our cockapoo Roly had the most incredible 4-day stay at Toby and Kate’s beautiful pool shed in Kent. This is our third time there! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home — the space is stunning, peaceful, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special again. The pool shed really is a hidden gem — beautifully designed, cozy yet spacious, and surrounded by the most tranquil countryside. The pool itself was a total dream, and Roly had the best time exploring the garden and surrounding land (and occasionally stealing the spotlight himself!). Toby and Kate are the perfect hosts: warm, welcoming, and full of local tips. They’ve truly created something magical here — a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and a touch of luxury. We didn’t want to leave, and we’re already planning our return! Five stars just isn’t enough. Thank you for everything Toby and Kate. We look forward to seeing you again soon! Kindest regards xxx

We loved our stay here! It was so quaint and perfect for a couple of nights. Richard and Claire were both amazing hosts and did all in their power to help make the stay feel like home.

A wonderful place. Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable. Spa facilities were a great way to relax at the end of a day exploring, or a great start to the morning. The kitchen had everything that was needed. The gardens were beautiful. We had a lovely sea view from the balcony, the sunrise was spectacular. Many thanks Chris for a peaceful stay, just what we needed.

We had a couple of problems with our reservations and payment but Ann was super helpful and flexible and we managed to book the cottage in the end. We arrived quite late which wasn’t a problem and the house was easy to find. We had a great stay and can’t say anything negative, really. Very nice recommendations for activities and Ann and Bob were very welcoming! The kids loved the garden and the animals. Thank you for everything! If we are going to be in the area in the future we will stay again.

The Granary is beautiful romantic place to stay. It was very cosy and Cecilia had thought of everything we might need. She has great attention to detail. Everything was excellent quality and Cecilia was a superb host. We would recommend it to anybody. We shall definitely return.

This is a lovely place to stay. The cabin is clean, well equipped and spacious. We all enjoyed relaxing by the wood fire. Communication with Sarissa and check-in was straightforward. We appreciated the folder full of information about the local area and things to do/places to eat.

Lovely cottage, very clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. Fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. The area is stunning, you come off the busy motorway to within minutes being in a rural very peaceful setting which was perfect for a short little break away for our family and 2 little dogs. We had some lovely walks and the local pub only a 10 minute walk away was also excellent and very accommodating. My only negative was that the garden was not managed and quite over grown. The weather was lovely and we sat outside for breakfasts so it was a shame that the same attention had not been paid to the outside space, which i do feel is important. This aside Lulu was a great host and we had a fantastic break away, I would definately recommend.

An absolutely AMAZING stay at Americas Hobbit House, it was truly perfect! I booked a long weekend for my partners birthday, he loves Lord of the Rings and was truly amazed! America was so incredibly warm and friendly (as was her GORGEOUS doggy Lora who visited us and gave us lots of snuggles!). We loved the house, the hot tub, the surroundings are so peaceful and such a treat to be able to walk to Bodiam Castle. We were honestly gutted to be leaving and can’t recommend this beautiful Hobbit House enough! Thank you for a wonderful stay! X

Jaya hosted my partner and I and it was one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in! So cozy, well designed and clean and has everything you could possibly need. The views from the arched windows were incredible and Jaya’s communication was so quick, she was so helpful and kind and even gave us a hand when we had some car trouble!
