The house was spotless with plenty of room downstairs for us. The main bedroom was large and lovely with an ensuite shower/ toilet. The other 2 bedrooms were smaller but perfect for our needs. All beds were very comfy. The kitchen/diner was VERY well stocked with everything thing we could have needed. Lovely welcome basket with fresh bread and milk with some goodies too and a fresh bag of coffee. Lots of little thoughtful extras, like books, games, doggy items, beach towels and a fab record player! We loved sitting in the garden in the morning and evening. Hardly noticed there were neighbours as it was very peaceful despite being a residential area. We loved our stay and if back in the area would definitely stay again. We loved this place, it was perfect for our six year olds, they loved the garden, the spacious rooms and it was a great location to base ourselves while we explored to NE - we will be back xx

We had a very relaxing stay in this well proportioned property. The outlook was beautiful and the inside was exceptionally well maintained, with lots of amenities. The power shower was great and the conservatory and patio brought the outside in, as we had exceptionally good weather for the duration of our stay. The location was perfect for exploring Bamburgh, Seahouses, Alnwick, Amble and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Thank you to Ian and Sharon who made us feel very welcome and a scruffle for Willow.

We were extremely pleased with Chris’s cottage! Even had friendly neighbours! The cottage was clean and well equipped. The hot tub was an added bonus. We were celebrating my husbands big birthday and would recommend The Boathouse for a good meal. We also visited The Shack for drinks and lunch! Superb! I unfortunately left my Kindle at the cottage, and Georgie very kindly wrapped it up and posted it on to me. She was so very kind. I received it within 3 days!! We had the most fantastic weekend, and would recommend HOPE TERRACE for anyone wishing to visit Amble. We hope to return again later in the year. Superb!!! Well Done!!

So we're just back after a lovely stay! Property is perfect for two adults and ideal as a base to explore Northumbria. House has everything you need, Well equipped kitchen with fridge hob oven grill and microwave. Nice dining area. We loved the log burner which really heats up the living area!! Huge bed upstairs and nice bathroom with shower and plenty of towels. Would definitely recommend this property, especially if you are a beach lover!! The beach is just a few steps away from the front door. Top Tips. Local B&M sells bags of logs which are very cheap we paid £5 per bag. Watch out for the hot water in the kitchen, it can get super hot.

Sandra's house was extremely comfortable, spotless and welcoming. The house has everything you could possibly need during a stay. Sandra was very responsive and very helpful and informative about the area and what it has to offer. Excellent host.

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

A lovely caravan very close to the sea. It was beautifully maintained. The kitchen was excellent. A slow cooker and an air fryer+ a full gas cooker and microwave. I was spoiled for choice!! The price was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely caravan to anyone. Thanks Lynn. A very friendly and helpful host.

This is a lovely place to stay, in a quiet part of the countryside. Shared amenities, including games room, gym and pool, are excellent. The cottage itself is spacious and comfortable, with all the essentials we needed for our holiday.

Beautiful caravan and very clean. Looks exactly like the photos. Well decorated and little extras. really helpful things like salt and vinegar and shower gel. right on the sea front with a 10 walk to get feet on the sand. Beach was amazing really peaceful and lovely sunrise view. A lovely few days stay 💚

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

A wonderful weekend break at Swallowtails. The accommodation was tastefully decorated and extremely clean and comfortable with everything you need for your stay. Set in a beautiful rural surroundings and countryside walks. The local village has a couple of good pubs within easy walking distance and are dog friendly. Lots of great places to visit within a short drive. The hosts were extremely helpful and respond quickly to any queries. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

Just wow! We’ve just got back from a simply amazing stay at Pam & Richard’s beautiful cottage. Some highlights for us were: 1) the little touches from treats for the dog to home baking, we felt so well looked after 2) the beautiful surroundings, it was so peaceful, no photos can really do it justice 3) the cottage itself, the beds were so comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless and it had everything you need. Pam and Richard were just lovely, and whilst they’re just next door, they didn’t impose at all, we had some brilliant recommendations for walks and food. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you both! x

Kevin and Jane's communications were brilliant. The house was amazing, everything you could think of was catered for and more. Home from home, comfortable, clean, spacious. Doggie treats and human treats were left out for you. I really can not recommend this place enough, it was superb. Fabulous place for peace and quiet. So close to the beach for walks with the dogs. Everywhere we walked to was really catered for dogs. Some great places to walk to on the beach. Accomodation warm and cosy just as described, host made you feel at home with nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be back.

Bit of a run down area but actual house is good once inside . If driving very handy for beach,shops,restaurants etc Overall it was a great stay and everything in hose worked well.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Hideaway! The location was perfect, and the cottage had everything we could possibly need. It was a bit more compact than we had pictured, but so thoughtfully laid out that it still felt cosy and comfortable. Packing and unloading weren’t entirely straightforward, but the option to park for free in the main car park or down by the river was a real plus, both were very convenient. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful riverside walks leading to the castle or the beach. The local pubs are delightfully dog-friendly, and everyone we met was so kind and welcoming. A big thank you to our host, Elaine, who was incredibly responsive and helpful, it made our stay all the more enjoyable. We're truly grateful for such a lovely experience!
