Man hat sich direkt willkommen und aufgehoben gefühlt. Die ganze Familie war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Haben auch ganz tolle Tipps bezüglich Restaurants, Massage usw bekommen. War auch super interessant ein bisschen mehr über die Kultur zu erfahren. War auf jeden Fall ein Abenteuer im Dschungel zu leben. Danke für die schöne Zeit! ;)

Such a beautiful hut — full of charming details and set in a truly fantastic location! We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Thank you so much, Natella & Stefan — we had an amazing time and absolutely loved every moment of our stay. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to come back!

Loved spending NYE here. They just finished the barbecue area in time for NYE and we got to have a lovely party with wonderful food and very pleasant company. Chea and his family are great, the vibe is awesome, the place is right on the village beach, very near the jetty where the ferry arrives. And it's an easy walk to the quieter and bigger beach, or up to the sunset viewing spot. Only minuses: the trash buildup around the island, and the mosquitos, especially in the bathroom (I got crazy bitten) meaning you have to douse yourself in repellant a few times a day if you're susceptible. Still, the value and the welcome and the peace and quiet were wonderful, and at this moment anyway, you are still able to find a secluded spot on the big beach away from other people where you can enjoy the incredible warm, calm water, while also having a good few dinner and bar options for later if you want to socialise. Ideal.

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Es war ein gemütliches kleines Häuschen in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. Wir wurden nett empfangen und haben viele gute Empfehlungen für die Umgebung erhalten. Es gibt wirklich tolle Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Hütte ist gut abgekühlt durch eine Klimaanlage. Gerne würden wir die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen. Eine Sache die wir lediglich verbessern würden, sind größere Mülleimer in der Hütte.

Wir waren mit unserer Familie 4 Wochen im Strandbungalow von Michael. Uns hat es uns sehr, sehr gut gefallen. Direkte Strandlage...ein Traum. Michael begrüßte uns mit einem vollen Kühlschrank (frische Früchte, Getränke, Kaffee, Nüsse) und stand uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Die frei zur Verfügung stehenden Kayaks und SUPs wurden gerne von uns genutzt. Trinkwasser wurde kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Besonders gut hat uns die Atmosphäre auf dem Gelände gefallen; alle waren super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Kim war eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, die alles für ihre Gäste in Erfahrung bringt :) Sie ist immer hilfsbereit und hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen! Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen :) Greetings, María & Micha

Such an amazing stay. I actually stayed for eight nights. It is one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in in Thailand so far for this price. If you are looking for a big room with really good air-conditioning and a lovely vibe. This is the place for you. It is about a 15 minute walk from lonely beach. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

If you want to visit Hoi An but aren't interested in staying in the hectic old quarter or at a big boring resort I HIGHLY recommend this. Especially if you like the beach. It is right on the beach, there is only a sandy path and a small strip of vegetation between you and the water. You can hear the soothing sounds of the ocean all night. We enjoyed the 15 minute bicycle ride to the Old Quarter or you can catch a Grab for short drive for very little. The accommodation is superb! It is quite spacious with a very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. Diem is an incredible host. Very welcoming and full of excellent tips and ideas for your stay. DO NOT SLEEP ON HER RECOMMENDATIONS We ticked off nearly everything she recommended and they were all excellent. 100% would recommend and stay again.

Tropical heaven. This place is really nice and surrounded by lovely palm trees and Forrest. Don’t let you fool by it’s location. You are in the middle of the best places to go. If you go 15 min by scooter one way you are in the local beach area of lipa noi and 12 min the other way you are in the more touristy area of Lamai. The silence is so great with the birds singing makes it so special. The pool area and the bar area is so beautiful with so many plants. Love it. Great and easy covered parking for the scooter. The bungalows are really big 1 living room and 1 bedroom and the view from the bathroom is breathtaking It’s hard to get out of the shower. That’s how nice it is. The big beds are also nice. Sitting in the front balcony watching the pool area and enjoy the breakfirst is absolutely stunning as well. The even most important is The owners are so great and wonderful people they really make you feel like home. Thank you manou and Turn🙏

This was my second long term stay at south mountain, and again, we loved the experience! The rooms are big and comfy, the staff always responsive and helpful, the property and views are breathtaking. It’s a really wonderful stay away from the traffic of town. We enjoyed the restaurant too! They have the best wine list I’ve seen on the island and their steaks are imported and of very high quality. Yum. I stayed a month twice, but even if you have just a few days, south mountain is one of a kind for Siquijor.

Die Unterkunft und unsere Gasteltern waren super!!!!!!! Wir haben die Privatsphäre mit dem tollem Pool, dem sehr leckeren Frühstück, den freundlichen Hausangestellten sehr genossen. Fred und Avi waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden immer wieder gerne hier übernachten. Ein großes Lob für alles. Da die Unterkunft ca. 3 km vom Stadtzentrum liegt, war es sehr ruhig und erholsam. Mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Tuktuk war man schnell in der Stadt. Wir waren zwei Monate hier und haben keine einzige Minute bereut.

I loved this Beautiful tropical paradise. Very nice garden and pool. It’s very quiet at night, I slept very well. It would be nice to have thicker/softer bed and blankets/pillows. But u guess that is just personal preference :) overall very nice place with a very good restaurant

It was very hot when we arrived at Elyu but the hose already turned on all the aircon at the property just like in hotels. 👏🏼 Place is clean and no weird smell. Has towels. Water pressure in all bathrooms are good as well. They also have hot water unit. Netflix on TV is available too. Location is so close to everything. We just walked during the night to get around San Juan. Will surely go back! :)

Ana's Bungalows is an amazing place to stay and a great deal! We were very comfortable there, and our hosts had everything perfectly set up when we arrived. It's in a less touristy and quieter part of town, but it's close to the major tourist spots and very easy to find as it's directly off the main road. We never had issues with the Wi-Fi, air conditioning or the hot water, which are amenities that are rare to find on the island at this price. Just be aware that brownouts can happen on Siquijor and it's a normal part of life there. But even during brownout, Wi-Fi was still available at the bungalows. The hosts are very kind, have water available for purchase and can help you arrange rides and rent scooters. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay in Siquijor. Thank you!

The bungalow is beautiful. Rooms and bathrooms are sparkling clean. Had all the amenities that you can expect from a hotel, like, toiletries, hot water geysers in all bathrooms, functioning AC in all rooms, good wi-fi connection and 24/7 water supply. The best part was the kitchen with all the required utensils, milk, tea powder and sugar. Enough to make tea for a group of 6-8 people twice a day. Food was supplied from a local catering service and was equally delicious, plus it was not expensive. Beach is at 5 mins walking distance. The Bluetooth party speakers added that extra boost to the evening party. The owner was also kind enough to keep ice cubes and 5 bottles of cold water ready in the fridge before we arrived. The only disadvantage that I found was the absence of swimming pool. Hoping they consider adding it in near future. I'm surely visiting the place again. Thanks Ajita!
