Very comfortable and spotlessly clean accommodation in a beautiful location. A very relaxing and peaceful stay, thank you.

Lovely, cosy, warm accommodation in a perfect spot by the harbour. Kitchen well equipped, no microwave but wasn’t a problem for us. We stayed over New Year and experienced both a storm and a lovely sunny day. The Steam Packet Inn a few doors down was friendly and welcomes dogs which was great. We had an amazing meal on New Years Day and would highly recommend the Cullen Skink and beer bread. The double bed was extremely comfy and lovely soft bed linen made for a good nights sleep.

Fantastic stay at the sea cubby! A perfect place to recharge and relax, with amazing views, wildlife and lovely accommodation. It was a perfect size for us. Additionally, the cubby has been kitted out with helpful items that you need whilst away - tea, coffee, lovely linen and plenty of great local recommendations which we tried out. The place was super cosy as well considering the coastal location. Would love to come back.

Had another very comfortable stay, home from home, with fantastic views of the Ayrshire coastline. David and Una being superb hosts throughout my stays here. Can highly recommend

This is the first time I stayed here and I can’t wait to return. The views are breathtaking in all weather and you’re in a private and peaceful off grid space. The lodge has been sympathetically renovated / decorated and the aga and woodburner are amazing - it’s very in keeping with the area and has rustic charm. We felt immediately at home. It is described accurately and yes the single foot steps to the bedroom are steep - you just have to be careful and turn a light on if you’re going up and down in the dark and do it barefoot - like a ladder but with flat steps. If you want a fuller bath, get the kettle boiled and some pans and away you go - something charming about that! The beach is 5 mins walk and went in the freezing sea morning and night and it’s pretty much secluded. The deer roamed regularly and we feel utterly transformed and relaxed - we already miss the whistling kettle. Loads of books too and a fab window seat in the lounge - we used the outdoor cushions for comfort

We’ve found our happy place ! Location exceeded our expectations, the beach view and the short stroll down to it was blissful and the birds in the garden were unbelievable- so many , all day everyday! We had absolutely everything we could possibly need in the accommodation. We walked everyday and only left the area once to visit the red kite feeding station at Bellymack hill farm - what a joy that was. Even when it rained it was still bliss to be in a lovely warm environment watching the wind and the waves! Although there are other properties around it literally feels like you are alone- we will definitely be back in the spring/summer - I’m longing to swim in the bay!

We stayed for a family holiday (5 adults and 3 children) for my Mum’s 70th birthday. This house is just stunning. The views are incredible and the house is everything you can need from an Airbnb. Comfortable beds and well thought out living areas. The communication from Karen has been faultless and she’s responded quickly to any queries we had. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We’d highly recommend it!

Fantastic place to stay in and as a base to explore the Galloway peninsula. Recommend the steep but short walk to the local beach, which is great for beach combing at low tide. Property was well appointed and very clean. Ian is a great host, and communicated really well. Farm is tucked away, but Google Maps took us right to our cabin and Ian also sent clear instructions on how to get there (Thanks).

We had a lovely stay. The view is incredible and we enjoyed the star gazing at night. Great location to explore Ayrshire.The caravan could do with some tlc but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jonathan was a great host and communicated really well. The big enclosed decking was great for the kids and dogs.

The Best Monday-to-Friday break we have had in Years. It is in a Great Location, easy to find & overlooks the Water. what more could you need?

Our boys absolutely LOVED the rocky shore line. It was peaceful, gorgeous, and a wonderful place to stay.

Had a fabulous two night stay at this lovely caravan. Checking in was seemless & easy with great communication from the host Michelle. Everything was extremely neat and tidy and we felt right at home. The caravan is in such a great location only a few minutes from Stranraer town centre. Michelle had sent plenty of recommendations for me and my two small kids to be getting upto! We are looking forward to staying again in the future for longer ☺️ Thanks Michelle!

We had a wonderful stay on Davaar island. The cabin is on the edge of the most beautiful view of the sea and we saw otters, seals, mink and dolphins from the beach just below. So special and memorable. Lots to do, we climbed the trig point, walked round the island coastline and explored the caves, paddle boarded across the bay, swam, had a campfire at sunset. Just perfect. The cabin is comfy and luxurious. Ned and Toni are the best hosts. Thank you 🙏🏻

I had an amazing time at this airbnb , I would 100% recommend it for individuals that would like a peaceful weekend getaway, the view is stunning in the morning, and the host is amazing couldn't have asked for a nicer and kinder host, the atmosphere was beautiful 100% would come back ☺️☺️

We had a lovely 3 night stay, the apartment is really nice, loved the decor. views are fabulous, sea,harbour,lighthouse and copeland island . we also loved that you could play vinyl records. highly recommended this apartment. will be back 😃

Beautiful apartment, private and peaceful, with stunning views of the sea. The apartment has everything that you need for you stay, including a fantastic welcome pack, very kind and thoughtful, we really appreciated this. Holly was very communicative from booking and we were met by Peter, very friendly and welcoming, great hospitality, giving tips and information about the area. Golf course is across the road, restaurants and bars are within walking distance. One of my favourite air bnbs I have stayed in. I will definitely be back. Absolutely outstanding So peaceful with beautiful surroundings Watching the sunset in the hottub was our favourite but the kids loved to have access to the beach and play park.

The cabin itself feels like a warm embrace—simple, charming, and full of character. Waking up to the sound of the sea and the scent of wood around us was incredibly peaceful and romantic.
