The cottage is located at the bottom of the main house's small private garden. It is quiet & secure. Half a minutes walk from Largs train station. Fully equipped for self catering. This studio style cottage has a shower room with towels ,shower gel, toilet rolls and handwash supplied. A small kitchen area with electric cooker, sink, fridge with ice box , kettle and toaster. The kitchen cupboard is stocked with complementary tea, coffee and cereal. The fridge will also be stocked ,fresh milk,etc.

It sits in our farmsteadings overlooking hills and fields, with Arran and the Clyde in the distance. Outside, the extensive garden and grounds comprising of mainly lush green lawns, mature woodland, wild flower areas and a portion of the Carmel Water which is a tributary of the River Irvine. The garden has various sitting areas strategically positioned to catch the sun. The private driveway leads to the house and there is parking for three vehicles.

Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.

It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains.
