Jon is a fantastic host – quick to respond and very helpful. The apartment is lovely, easy to find, and in a great location near restaurants, shops, and public transport (Uxbridge underground (10-15 mins walk) and the Elizabeth Line from West Drayton (15 mins via the U1 bus). It’s also only 15 minutes from Heathrow by taxi – ideal for both my arrival and an early morning flight from T5. The setting by the canal is peaceful and perfect for a sunny stroll. My friend and I loved walking along the water and stopping for refreshments. We chose to stay in for supper, using the well-equipped kitchen and enjoying the cosy, homely vibe of the apartment – perfect for a catch-up. I’ve already shared this gem with friends flying into Heathrow and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in the Uxbridge area. I will definitely be staying again :-)

Was a great place to stay to explore Oxford. The Flat was very clean and comfortable. And what a luxury to have a parking place right by your accommodation while being so close to the centre of the city. Lovely view over the river. Oxford has so much to do. The flat is such an easy walk from the centre. Or like us you can walk in either direction along the river and enjoy a scenic route into the city.

Could’ve asked for a better location - as it’s a city centre spot everything was walkable which is exactly what we wanted. If you’re after peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. Spotlessly clean, friendly host, comfy bed, with all amenities you would expect. Highly recommend!

A very rare Airbnb, in a beautiful building with a lovely balcony right on the canal, perfect spot to enjoy long summer evenings watching ducks, dragon flies and boats. Perfect for a couple or a small family or short term with friends! Easy communication with Giacomo and appreciated the simplicity of the check in and check out with porter at the entrance of the property to give and take back the set of keys! Great experience

Beautiful canal side accommodation. Lovely selection of foods for a beautiful continental breakfast. Spotlessly clean apartment with a variety of toiletries provided. Lovely terraced garden where you can sit by the canal. Town is 15 minutes walk away. Loved our stay. Will recommend to friends and come again.

Poppy is the perfect host. She made sure everything went great during my stay in Oxford. She is extremely friendly and cares about your well-being. The studio is cozy and lovely, very clean, and has all the facilities you may need. Really enjoyed the garden and the birds living nearby the river. Central location close to the city center and lots of services in the surrounding area. Couldn't have picked a better accomodation in Oxford and it definitely will be my choice if I come back.

What can I say… quite honestly the most beautiful home we’ve stayed in (and we’ve stayed in many). The house was absolutely stunning with amazing views. The host was very attentive and gave plenty of recommendations. We stayed for New Year’s Eve and saw in 2025 with our family. Our 3 girls loved exploring the garden, toys and a particular shout out for the games room. Had a pleasant surprise when we arrived to see the most gorgeous decking, accompanied by a hot tub and swim spa, a huge hit with the girls. Would definitely recommend. Thank you and happy new year!

Four members of my family stayed here over Christmas as our own house was full. They loved it. 'Brilliant. Great. Five stars,' was one response. Although it is a typical Oxford cottage and looks small from the outside, it is suprisingly spacious inside. Aside from the comfort , my family enjoyed the personal feel of the house, the selection of books, the charming garden, the location by the river and the thoughtful provision of a vegan breakfast. Everything worked well. We will definitely book it again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Some practical improvements had been made since our last stay, in particular the new teapot was very welcome!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at V's through Airbnb, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, V was incredibly attentive, ensuring that our experience was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend notifying her of your arrival time; it allows her to prepare everything perfectly. Upon entering, we were greeted by a delightful assortment of thoughtful touches that made our stay feel uniquely special. V had arranged a delightful spread of personalized breakfast items upon request, featuring artisan breads, jams, butter, and even delicious chocolates and a cake waiting for us. The warm ambiance, enhanced by soft music and gentle lighting, instantly made us feel at home. V's interior decor is truly one of a kind, reflecting her fantastic personality and talent for design. We had a lovely few days in Oxford, the house had a beautiful location with easy access to the city along the tow path. Liz was really helpful and responded quickly to our queries.

I had a fabulous stay with my family! Sami was a great and very active host. He was very quick and helpful with his answers. The house met every expectation I’ve had and went beyond. Having a pool on a sunny day especially made our day. The house and rooms were also very spacious. As a pianist, I especially liked that the house had a piano, which I thought was a nice touch. We’re definitely planning to come back mid summer.

Our family booked Mark's house for an Easter break for us all. We absolutely loved the house and the space was perfect for all of us. Mark was very responsive giving us recommendations for The White Hart at Minster Lovell for a pub tea and delicious Bird In Hand at Witney for a delicious Sunday Lunch. We walked around Minster Lovell, booked Archery at Batsford Arboretum and visited Burford along with Cotswold Wildlife Park. We enjoyed cooking in for two nights, playing games and relaxing in the gorgeous house. My husband and I spent a few coffee's/glasses of wine discussing if the glass extension would work on the back on of our own house as we loved the room. Thanks again for being a great host and allowing us to enjoy your home.

This is a convenient, secure, comfortable and clean flat. While the residential development is large and parking would have been difficult without the designated parking space, once indoors the flat is quiet with lovely views of the canal and bordering trees.

Quiet and off the beaten path, but a quick walk to town. Loved the faint sound through the window of the little river running next to the apartment. The place was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Feels like it was recently redone. We appreciated the heater in the bathroom to warm our towels. When we messaged her with a question, Lesley responded very quickly. Would love to stay there when we visit Oxford again. This place is a gem!

Beautiful home, perfect place to stay. The garden is absolutely amazing. Claire Marie was very welcoming, made us feel at home. Went out of her way to ask if we needed anything. Generally a lovely, friendly host. I would highly recommend to stay here. Everything was perfect and it made our weekend.

We had a short stay of only two nights and didn’t really get around to using the many amenities provided, but never felt we lacked for anything that we did need. House and bed were comfortable, bathroom shower fixtures were easy to work. Good stay.

oh my goodness what a position actually on the River Thames. It was perfect for my 93 year old mother as no stairs to climb. Accurately described, a little rustic. Great communication replying in a few minutes. Feel very lucky to have stayed at Waters Edge.

Our host Evie was very friendly, flexible and helpful. The property was perfect for our central Oxford stay - literally a minute's walk to Westgate Shopping Centre and many bars and restaurants. The beds were extremely comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed including easy car parking. Thanks for a fab stay! :-)

This is truly a stunning place to stay! And the free parking was a massive bonus. The balcony is so lovely to have a cup of coffee in the morning. And to be honest I am so jealous of the shower water pressure (I know not something you write about but I was blown away!). There is lots of beautiful restaurants nearby and Sainsbury’s is around the corner. Definitely would stay again when I visit London
