We had a wonderful two-night stay over our wedding weekend, and Hazel was an exceptional host. She was quick to respond to all our queries and made sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. There were so many thoughtful little “Mr & Mrs” touches that made the stay feel really special — from the roses to the delicious fudge, everything added a lovely personal touch. We also really appreciated the breakfast bits provided, like milk, croissants, jams, and tea — such a thoughtful gesture. The kitchen was well equipped, and the home is located on a beautiful street surrounded by charming houses in a perfect location. Another big bonus was the great parking, which is hard to come by in Edinburgh. Thank you, Hazel, for helping make our weekend so memorable!

Second visit for us and hopefully won’t be the last. Beautiful surroundings, clean, modern accommodation with thoughtful touches. Explored more of the walks around the cottage this time and the area is stunning. Highly recommended.

Very good place to explore west coast of Scotland. You have here all you need. Additionally - great view from the window on Loch Long. For us it was another segment of our hike around Great Britain Coast Line. We booked the flat for 1 week but as the weather cleared we asked Simon for another week extension and there was no any problem. Sorted right away.

Lovely apartment within a minutes walk into Leith Walk , which has fabulous local amenities as well as the tram and bus network to get you around the city . The apartment was so well equipped and much more than I expected . Very very clean , with hotel standard bedding and plentiful towels . Lovely little touches including coffee, a supply of herbs and spices in the kitchen if you were cooking , chilled water in the fridge , cleaning products , and my favourite Scottish Fine soap products in the bathroom! The apartment has a dishwasher, coffee machine , hairdryer , washing machine , tv . Everything has been well thought out to ensure you have a very comfortable stay, home from home . The apartment was quiet , warm and the how too guide was very helpful in navigating the heating etc. Pier was a very responsive and helpful host . All in all, brilliant , thank you

Great location just outside of grasmere - always a plus if you can set off on your walk from the doorstep

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was great for our needs (a family of 3) and within walking distance from the main road with the buses and the trams. Pier and Monica provided useful information and responded to all our messages. I would definitely stay again.

What a truly wonderful little place, there is so much to do for the kids and my two really did enjoy it! The apartment was absolutely stunning, spotless and also very spacious. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to book a trip away to the lakes be it with children or without. We will definitely be coming back!

Great short stay for a few days' break to explore Glasgow. An apartment of good size for three and with all comforts needed. Very centrally located, within easy walking distance of centre, mainline and subway stations, hence well connected for museums, University, Mackintosh House, etc. Many restaurants within a few mins. walk and late opening shops for all supplies needed. Would recommend.

What an amazing find. Stunning house. Incredible views (pics don’t do it justice btw) and really quite perfect. Extremely modern with simple instructions meant no faffing with appliances of thermostats. Perfect stay for us. Great hosts.

We stayed over at Caroline's home for a couple of days as a group of friends. The house was very tidy, spacious and located in a quiet and nice area. Caroline made us feel at home and left a few basic groceries for us which was very kind of her. She also checked in to make sure we were getting on okay and was readily available if we needed anything. I enjoyed my sleep in her home, the beds were very comfortable with soft beddings and pillows. The house also has a large garden outside which is so good if you just want to sit outside and enjoy some sunshine. I would definitely stay in this house again when I next visit Glasgow.

Lovely cottage in a perfectly idyllic setting tucked away 5 mins from all amenities in Ambleside. Very clean and well equipped and Catherine was very easy to deal with. Would be happy to return.

Absolutely beautiful place with stunning views from all windows. Really comfortable. There are many hill walks accessible starting from the house. The only sounds we heard were sheep and the birds singing.

A fantastic break in this beautiful spacious lodge ‘Screel View’ with amazing views - fog aside! We really appreciated the festive touches as well the unexpected welcome treats - thank you Barabara. We loved the location and the local area. We needed the car to get our elders out and about yet there were plenty of ‘from the door walks’ for me and my husband. Lovely cafe with views The Ark in Kippford. A wonderful stay. Great communication from booking through to departure. I knew I could get a speedy response to any enquiry. We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse in the Lake District. The place was immaculately tidy, with a very well-catered kitchen that had everything we needed—perfect for cooking up a proper Easter Sunday roast, which we were lucky enough to enjoy outside in the garden thanks to some glorious spring sunshine. The wood burner made the evenings extra cosy, and the peaceful, beautiful surroundings made for a truly relaxing break. Diana was excellent—friendly, helpful, and very responsive. highly recommended!

If you are a mountain biker looking for accommodation, Graham’s place is the best choice there is. Located right in the centre of Innerleithen, you can ride straight out the front door and enjoy the trails. The workshop comes with tools, cleaning equipment and locks that makes life so easy after a long day’s riding. The living spaces are clean, tidy and really comfortable. It really can’t be beaten.

Elizabeth was so helpful and friendly in all communication. The stay was last minute and she was so accommodating. They Bothy is a gorgeous space that has been well thought out and has everything you need for a cosy stay. We took our dog and the enclosed garden was amazing for her to run about in. Elizabeth also left her some poo bags and treats which was a really nice touch. Sitting on the comfy sofa with a glass of wine and the beautiful view was a great end to the day. Will definitely visit again for longer.

The accommodation was absolutely perfect (& even exceeded the description, which in itself was delightful). Absolutely spotless accommodation, well equipped with outstanding views of the surroundings Cumbrian Fells. Ideally located for access to Keswick Town Centre and environs. Our hosts (Ashley and Steve) were extremely attentive and friendly; and we are excited at the prospect of staying again at their lovely accommodation. Plenty of parking available & clear instructions on directions to the property. Thank you so much for a memorable stay.

El alojamiento de Dorothy nos pareció excelente. Ubicación a 10 minutos a pie del Royal Mile. Sitio tranquilo y agradable. Limpieza, menaje y todo los servicios necesario excelente. La ducha perfecta y con todo lo necesario. La comunicación genial con Dorothy, sin problema para dejar el equipaje el día de vuelo de vuelta, en todo momento estuvo atenta a cualquier demanda. We had a fantastic stay at Andrew’s place! The apartment was spacious, cozy, and perfectly complemented the chilly Edinburgh weather—it felt like a warm and welcoming retreat after a day of exploring. The location was super convenient, with a bus stop right outside the building, making it easy to get around the city. Andrew was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, always quick to answer any questions. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Edinburgh!

Catherine’s place was lovely!! It was beautiful, private and with incredible surroundings. Catherine had breakfast ready for us for the next day and even offered earlier check in! Everything was prepared with such loving care and it made us feel at home. Local jam, fresh marmellate, crispy bread, tea, coffees, porridge, cereals it was so thoughtful! Gave plenty of local recommendations and on the last day her husband even gave us a lift to the nearby town to get a train! They went above and beyond and I would go back and recommend it in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a city escape or just an immersion in nature, there is no better place out there!

Great stay at Raluca's place. Her communication was great from the outset, responding promptly to questions and providing lots of local recommendations. The place was perfect for our stay and the kids had a great time. The swimming pool and play areas were excellent and the toys in the apartment were a real bonus. Would happily stay here again for a family break.
