...Very pleased with Vila Ana....beautiful home with a great kitchen. Location is perfect with a cafe and small grocery store next door. More than met our expectations. Clean and roomy common areas. Everything you could want or need. Felt like a home. Outdoor area is beautiful and the convenience of having a driveway and parking area makes a big difference. This property is in a very nice area and is thoughtfully taken care of and equipped. I would only recommend one thing.....to add an American style drip coffee maker for those who don't know how to work a French press. Otherwise, it's one of the nicest places I have stayed at....in all my travels.

Sehr, sehr tolles Haus, nicht mehr ganz neu und dadurch einige Alterserscheinungen, aber nichts Gravierendes. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Die Besitzerin Ana war persönlich vor Ort, als wir ankamen. Sie hatte jede Menge frische Lebensmittel eingekauft und zu unserer Ankunft am Abend eine sehr gute Suppe gekocht. Ana ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin, wir fühlten uns sofort herzlich willkommen. Sie hat uns alle Dinge, die wir wissen mussten, im Haus gezeigt. Da es bei unserem Aufenthalt relativ kühl und windig auf den Azoren war, schätzten wir den Kaminofen im Haus besonders. Holz war auch ausreichend da. Der Ort Mosteiros ist sehr schön und die Brandung in den Klippen direkt vor dem Haus ist außergewöhnlich und lässt sich von der Couch aus beobachten. Ein sehr gutes lokales Restaurant mit exzellentem Fischangebot ist fußläufig erreichbar.

THE HOUSE IS AMAZING! Every part is perfect! It’s the only house that we stayed during our holidays that is decorated for Christmas, and you can feel the thoughtfulness from the host. Indeed the house is well maintained and you have everything needed for living here. Many check-in gifts. Amazing view of the sea and the volcano. Taisa is very kind and helpful. I really hope to visit again.

Unseren Urlaub mit Oma und Opa war ein tolles Erlebnis auf der Insel Pico und in dem wundervollen Haus von James. Das Haus mit Pool war unser Favorit in der Auswahl, damit für jeden etwas dabei ist. Aussicht, Badestelle, Pool, gemütliche Rückzugsorte im Haus und davor. Es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht. Nur das Wetter kann man nicht beeinflussen und deshalb haben wir mit dem Montana de Pico noch eine Rechnung offen. Deshalb kommen wir wieder und wenn möglich, sicher zu James.

Absolutely loved our stay here. It may be a little simple for some but nothing beats waking up in a garden full of birdsong and eating breakfast on the porch! Easy walking distance to restaurants etc in town and large supermarket. Already planning our next trip.

We had a wonderful stay here and our host was so kind. It was the perfect size for two couples.

Our stay at this place was absolutely wonderful! We came to the island for a festival in Ponta Delgada and it was so easy to navigate from Rabo De Peixe into town. The space was so warm and inviting and had great common areas for games and relaxation.

We were very satisfied with our accommodation. The flexible check-in and check-out were greatly appreciated. The host responded very quickly and clearly. On the downside: the common areas aren't heated, so they could be colder depending on the outside temperature. We can hear cars on the street outside from the bedrooms. The mattresses are relatively hard, and the car gate is very slow to open. But that wouldn't stop us from returning to the same place. The location is great. A car is highly recommended for getting around and to the nearby supermarket.

A perfect space for two couples to enjoy a comfortable space and a good central location on the island to experience and explore. We enjoyed relaxed evenings in the hot tub! Joao was a lovely and responsive host and went the extra mile for us to be comfortable.

We had such a lovely family vacation staying in Maria's place! It was well suited for 7 adults with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The host is very easy to contact and good follow up on any questions that we had during our stay. Check in and check out were also very easy. We loved lounging on the terrace and walking along the shore. We enjoyed many breakfasts together in her well equipped kitchen before venturing out and exploring for the day. Coming home at night, we looked forward to building a cozy fire in the living room while sharing our favorite memories from the day. If returning to Sao Miguel, we'd love to stay at Maria's place again! Obrigada!

Great space. Very spacious. Beautifully decorated. Was very quick answering any calls that we made to him. Beautiful place for a large group.

Excellent house for our extended family group of 8. The pool is not heated so it’s a bit cold, but the backyard is very peaceful and the house is well equipped and a great home base to explore the island. It’s right outside Ponta Delgada and easy to pop into town. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay for 2x families of four, brilliant communication from host, lovely pool, top views, loads of appliances, and a welcome bean to cup coffee machine, full of beans :) The only place I stayed on the islands with a decent mattress and pillows too! Only thing missing for a perfect stay was AC or dehumidifiers…. Thanks for a great stay…

Our host Tiago answered his phone every time I called. He was helpful with directions and assisted with all we needed or requested immediately. Very responsive and kind. We loved the layout of the home. Easy access in the door, the bedroom and bathroom walkin shower for very good for elderly people. All the rest including the awesome pool and view was great for the rest. We had 8 persons and we hope to come back again.

Beautiful place and very spacious house with many amenities. The host was extremely kind and communicative. We were informed in advance about certain shortcomings and were offered a discount. A nice gesture was the champagne and chocolates upon arrival. The only downside might have been the noticeable humidity, although this is quite understandable given the conditions and location. For this reason, the pizza oven took a long time to heat up, as the moisture had to evaporate. During the period we stayed (late December to early January), it was quite windy, rainy, and foggy, so it’s worth considering this in your plans.

Nuestra estancia en la casa fue incredible. Desde el primer momento, la comunicación fue clara y rápida, los anfitriones muy amables, siempre dispuestos a ayudar en todo. El alojamiento estaba muy limpio y equipado con todo lo necesario, cuidado al mínimo detalle. La ubicación es ideal, a pocos minutos del aeropuerto y del centro de la ciudad, en una zona muy tranquila con todos los servicios necessários muy próximos. Sin duda, estaremos encantados de volver a alojarnos en esta casa. Muchas gracias a los anfitriones.

Il soggiorno a Pico è stato stupendo. Gli host sono stati puntualissimi, disponibili e gentili. Ci hanno accolto all’orario da noi indicato e ci hanno fatto trovare la nostra casetta super pulita e accogliente! Le aree comuni sono altrettanto pulite e ben tenute, piscina e vista top! Amazing stay! The location is unbeatable and the views are absolutely spectacular. You can really tell how thoughtful the hosts are, they’ve considered every little detail to make guests feel comfortable and at home. We especially appreciated the focus on sustainability, which made the experience even more meaningful for us. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a beautiful and well-cared-for place to relax.

Wow. Just...wow. A beautiful, home in an absolutely stunning setting. Everything felt new and clean with modern but inviting architecture. The view from the kitchen/living room/balcony is gorgeous and peaceful. The pool is lovely and just steps away. The place was immaculate and Cleide, who manages the property, is absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The house is a few minutes walk or drive to natural pools, outdoor natural pools, and a small but very cute market for groceries. Every morning, Cleide left us a box of fresh pastries and cheese and meat for breakfast. We loved this property and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take a deep breath and maybe do some dolphin and whale watching :)

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr grosszügig, wie beschrieben und liegt in einer ruhigeren Ecke von Sao Miguel. Alles nötige für einen entspannten Urlaub ist vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit Mariana war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Susana nos trató genial desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos. Tuve una urgencia y me recomendó un sitio al que ir. Nos mandó un mapa para organizar mejor la ruta y nos dió muchas recomendaciones que no habíamos tenido en cuenta. Tenemos muy claro que si volvemos, nos encantaría poder ir a Casa Vereda:)
