The Globe’s Flat

The Globe is a CAMRA Award winning, wet sales only, real ale & live music pub in the the medieval wool town of Clare. The flat is directly above & has it's own front door to stairs leading to kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster, bathroom with power shower, sitting room & 2 connected bedrooms. Dogs are welcome, but must be pre-booked. Expect noise from the pub whilst open! We shut by 11pm every day except Sunday when we have live music from 2pm - 5pm, then shut at 7pm.

We live on an island, sometimes the tide will cover the Strood (only Road onto the island). Please check tide times as you will be stuck waiting. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway 500 yards from the lovely sandy beaches of Frinton-On-Sea. This location is on the high street close to everything. It is highly appointed with Fine Quality Danish Furniture, Danish Lighting and more items from Great Danes (our shop below the flat) We aim for it to be a showroom and are looking for guests that appreciate quality. The Studio is available for up to 2 people (sharing 1 bed) that can climb the 20 Steep Steps to the flat.

Self Contained Studio in Wivenhoe

Tuck away next to the Wivenhoe woods (upper Wivenhoe), this lovely self-contained studio flat provides comfortable accommodation throughout. The studio is on a cul-de-sac, with its own entrance. It is just a short walk to the University of Essex via Wivenhoe Public pathway. The the train station is also only 15 minute walk away through the Wivenhoe trail. Ideal for 1-2 guests, but a baby or small chid is welcome (providing that you bring your own travel cot & bedding with you).
