We had a great stay! The host communicated well from the beginning and checked in to confirm our arrival time, which was appreciated. The place was clean, the rooms had plenty of storage, and the internet was fast. We were able to cook rice and heat up food using the stove, which worked just fine for us. It would be even more convenient if a microwave and coffee maker were added in the future. Kudos to Mico for being an awesome caretaker—super responsive, helpful, and made everything smooth for us! We also had to add an extra guest during our stay, and it was handled with no issues at all. Parking is available just outside the property, and the neighborhood seemed peaceful and safe. Overall, even though we didn’t stay long, it was a great deal and a smooth experience. Would recommend!

It's a good distance from the center of the city making it quiet and peaceful. We felt at home immediately and our bicycles were allowed to be parked inside the living room of the apartment. Our host was very responsive and helpful. We would surely go back if we are in Surigao City again. Thank you!

Our favourite place to stay in the area. Lota’s house feels like a mixture of an old cultural museum and a showcase of traditional wooden craftsmanship. It’s a simple house without modern technology but the beds are so comfortable and the ceiling fans keep the house nice and cool. There were pineapples and star fruit growing in the garden which we were allowed to eat. It was an amazing experience. Also it’s pet friendly and Lota’s family was so welcoming as usual. It’s a beautiful area to explore. Great host and home

Cozy studio apartment just a few yards from the beach. Small market and stores very close by. Spectacular view and sunsets! Gemma the caretaker was very helpful and kind, and made sure we were comfortable. Only 15 minutes ride from Surigao airport. We enjoyed our stay! 😁

Juvy and her husband were quintessential hosts for our group of Americans and Filipinas from the mining industry. Our fully stocked beach house greeted us with freshly laid eggs and homemade bread from their farm to table homestead. The remote oceanfront location was pure paradise for quiet solitude yet close to town for easy access to groceries and restaurants. We enjoyed ongoing communication with Juvy, who accommodated our every need. She offered personal tours and made recommendations for local sightseeing and eateries. An amazing experience even for well-traveled adventurers. Five + stars!

Feels like home! my family is happy . its my parents first time checking in to an airbnb and they are very happy . ang kids ko din masaya sa aircon hindi matipid c owner kahit naubos namin ang water nagrefill parin sila, good staff/caretaker, easy access sa lahat at lalo na may food panda . kudos!

It’s my first time to have an AirBnb in Surigao City and it did not disappoint because of Romain’s place. One of the best unit I book so far since I started using the App. Romain is responsive and helpful as well as his assistant. Hoping to book it again real soon.
