This cottage is a hidden gem on Vashon Island. Elizabeth is an attentive host and made my stay memorable. It was wonderful surprise to have the kitchen stocked with organic eggs, butter, coffee creamer, jams, yogurt, fresh fruit, a variety of coffees and teas. Making daily breakfast was a breeze and yummy. The cottage has peek a boo view of Mount Rainier and Cascade mountains. You may be lucky in having a deer or two stop by or see an eagle or pelican fly by. The location is minutes from the quaint downtown area and centrally located to other parts of the island. Bedrooms are cozy. Bathroom is generously stocked with towels and a variety of shampoos. There was also body lotion since I forgot to bring mine! Living room has comfy chairs and sturdy table to eat at or use as a work surface. It came in handy for a project I was working on. There’s even a grand piano. I highly recommend staying here. I’m already planning my next trip and staying here! Thank you Elizabeth!

You truly won’t find a more responsive and helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, felt comfortable and at home. The location is beautiful and is just like the pictures. The home had everything we needed, including extra phone chargers for those who forgot them. We had 8 adult women for a “girls getaway” and it was the right size for us. Plenty of room to be together and places to relax in smaller groups or have a rest away from the group. The view and the reviews are what made us reserve this home and we weren’t disappointed. Now it’s your turn to enjoy!

Really enjoyed my stay - nice value for a cozy, clean, well equipped, quiet Kenmore retreat. I’ve stayed in a few Airbnbs in the neighborhood, and Hui’s is the best. Definitely recommend!

The Sunshine House is now my favorite Airbnb that I’ve ever had the privilege of staying at — I love visiting Seattle, but have never felt more at home than during my month-long stay here. Robin & Scott are the best hosts and the house has everything you could possibly need, perfect for pups too! We loved walking to catch the gorgeous sunsets at Sunset Hill Park, the neighborhood is very nice and safe and finding parking right in front of the house was never an issue. Can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to return!

If you’re thinking about- JUST BOOK IT! This is worth the stay :) Where do I even begin…our stay was perfection. The house was unlike any other place we’ve stayed at. Very unique design layout with a dream kitchen. We LOVED every single room, specifically the sky-gazing room. Being in there during rainfall had to be one of the most relaxing experiences EVER! We also loved the ease of heating from the one-click-away fire places! Aside from the house, James was very sweet, responsive & accommodating. Thanks again for the early check in! This stay will last us a lifetime of memories- thank you!

We ended up staying at Karen’s place longer than expected due to a family emergency, and we’re so grateful we did. Her home was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with fragrance- and dye-free products—perfect for anyone with allergies or sensitive skin. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and we had the best sleep during our time there. The location was super convenient, close to great coffee and food at Larson’s and Rossellini’s, and just minutes from where our family lives. The overall vibe and energy of the space was peaceful and welcoming—it truly felt like a home away from home. Karen was also a kind and fantastic communicator throughout our stay. Highly recommend! We’d love to stay again when we visit family.

Beautiful, cozy little house with a great view of the water and within easy walking distance to the beach! So many clam and crab shells along the beach. Cute island feel with downtown Bainbridge and close to the ferry to do day trips to Seattle. Hosts were friendly and responsive. Beds were comfortable and had a nice little kitchen. Would stay here again for sure!

What a perfect spot to soak up the magic of Mercer Island! Aric was an excellent host, he always responded quickly and proactively to ensure that our stay had every luxury of home. Aric’s description of his home was modest, as we found the space to be even more accommodating than described.
