200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

The accommodation is 2 stories, 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs (2 double and a twin bedroom). Downstairs is kitchen/ living room, separate sitting room and toilet/ shower room. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

A beautiful modern S/C apartment located on the edge of Oxford Island Nature Reserve set on the shores of Lough Neagh only 20 minutes south of Belfast, 30 minutes from the beach and 40 minutes from the Mourne mountains . The house is set on the grounds of a thatch cottage where we live with dogs, cats and hens which roam about freely waiting to welcome newcomers and overlooks stunning countryside.
