Casinha do Burro (40m2) has 1 bedroom with double bed, the living/dining room with a kitchenette and a wood burning stove, 1 WC and a beautiful patio. The terrace overlooks the countryside, the sea and the sky! We are quiet and value both our privacy and the privacy of our guests. We are a family of 4, 2 humans and 2 dogs.

The guest accommodation is private & comprises one half of the restored farmhouse. Outside you have your private space with chairs and table, as well there is a common area to share with the other guests .

Located near the historical town Silves, in a area with beautiful nature surrounding it. It has a NATURAL SWIMMING POOL, swim and relax in the clean swimming area while watching hovering dragonflies, butterflies and all the magic of a natural swimming pool. In 2015 the house was completely renovated with an extension built using straw bales that keeps the house cool in the summer an warm in the winter. Das Hobbithaus ist ausgestattet mit einem Doppelbett mit Moskitonetz und einem kleinem Schrank. Die Temperatur ist sehr angenehm da es durch seine Bauweise optimal isoliert ist. Sommer wie Winter. Es liegt am Rande eines Naturschutzgebietes, 5 auto min. entfernt von den schoensten Straende der Algarve. Es gibt eine gemeinsame küche mit allem was man braucht. Da es eine außenküche ist kann es natürlich vorkommen das es auch mal etwas staubig ist kommt auf den wind an.

Beautiful self-built ecological house by the river

This amazing home-made house is newly renovated and located on our small farm where we grow vegetables and fruit trees. The house is made out of rammed earth and stones, placed just a few meters from the gorgeous river of Seixe, surrounded by green hills and fields. The valley is very calm and full of animals such as cows, horses, goats, donkeys, pigs & sheep. In the hot days you can take a cooling dip in the river or visit the amazing beach only 6 km away!

Organic Farm Stay in the Mountains

You can come and enjoy nature at ours. We have set up an cozy holiday house for you where you can spend a relaxing holiday. The cottage is located in the middle of the wooded mountains of Monchique. An ideal starting point for hiking. From the town of Monchique, a tarmac road leads into the mountains to the top of our valley. From there it goes on a dirt road further down into a peaceful valley to our organic farm with fruit trees, chickens and goats.
