This mountain home was everything we hoped for and more — truly a home away from home. The listing was spot-on, if not better in person. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how immaculately clean and well-maintained the house was. After long days of hiking and exploring Yosemite Park, coming back to this cozy refuge was the perfect way to unwind (the jacuzzi was the best!). It’s also incredibly family-friendly — the dedicated game space with foosball and board games was a huge hit and kept everyone entertained in the evenings. One of the unexpected highlights was falling asleep to the gentle sounds of the creek just outside — nature’s white noise at its best. It made for the most restful nights. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We would love to return when we plan another visit and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and fun getaway. Five stars all around!

This place was a great little private place. There’s neighbors near by, but you have enough privacy. My husband and I were looking for a small great getaway and this place was it. Plus, you had a jacuzzi, which unfortunately we didn’t not have the chance to use, but I would have loved to experience under the stars. The complimentary wine was delicious. Michael was a great help in giving recommendations. I would definitely stay here again! All I have to say is couples book it, don’t think about it!

Cabin is perfectly located, very close to town with lots of restaurants and stores, and very convenient for daily travel to Yosemite! The cabin is clean and has everything one might need to stay for a while. Very satisfied with the stay!

Bob & Barbara's place was fantastic and they were so responsive to the couple questions we had! The home is perfect for a Yosemite visit. It is literally less than 10 minutes from the South Gate of Yosemite and only about 20 minutes to Oakhurst. The entire home is so cozy and so clean! We especially loved the hot tub after long days in the park. We also really enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen which we were able to make full family meals in over the New Year's holidays. The fireplacewas great to cozy up to and read or watch a movie. We truly had the best time and cannot wait to come back!

Perfect stay for our Yosemite trip! The place was clean, cozy, and super baby-friendly—came with a high chair, pack ’n play, and other baby essentials. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a beautiful stay at Gina's property. We were close enough to get into Yosemite national park (30-90 min depending on which area you visit) but remote enough to feel like we had the mountainside to ourselves in the evening. The town and groceries was conveniently located within 5-7mins. The living room got sun all day and we were comfortable with everything we needed for our trip. Easy check-in and check-out process.

This space is great! A hot tub, foosball, lots of board games and cozy comforting beds, 20 minutes to Yosemite entrance, an hour to the valley. Carolina was accomodating during our stay and was always available through message if we needed anything. Had a short but great time!

Great house, great location! We stayed at Mark’s house for a national park vacation. We visited Yosemite and Sequoia/King’s Canyon and it was easy getting to both. The house was great - clean, spacious, gorgeous views and outside space. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfy. The bedrooms are spread out so it’s a great house for people who want a little privacy or separation. Nice touches like lamps with chargers. Reviews that note a steep driveway are correct but there is no need for 4wd or even an SUV. Mark was super-quick to respond to any questions. A great place!

The cabin was very quiet and well decorated. We loved the sunroom bedroom in particular! It's in a very good location. Only about 15 to 20 minutes to Bass Lake and less than an hour to Yosemite Valley. Looking forward to return! 😁

Our week-long stay this April was absolutely perfect, largely thanks to our outstanding host. They were exceptionally friendly, incredibly responsive (often replying within minutes!), and proactively reached out to ensure everything was fine. Their thoughtfulness regarding guest needs and flexibility with arrangements were greatly appreciated. We loved the complimentary coffee selection and tasty snacks – a very nice, welcoming touch! The property itself was sparkling clean and offered profound quiet. Nestled deep within a serene, peaceful forest, it felt like a true escape from the noise and bustle of the nearby town, providing exactly the tranquil atmosphere we desired. The vibe was calm and welcoming. Just a heads-up for future guests: if you plan to use the sofa bed, remember to request it specifically when booking, as it needs to be set up by the host. We highly recommend this tranquil forest gem for a truly relaxing and restorative retreat!

We really liked the location and the peaceful surroundings (we even saw a small group of deer crossing the street on our first evening at the cabin!). Everything was as described: close to the South entrance (and the Mariposa Grove) of Yosemite park, close to Oakhurst amenities. The cabin is so spacious that we almost regretted not taking some friends or family with us. Cheryl and Randy were very helpful and appointed the cabin with everything one might need during a visit. We recently stayed at this beautiful place for our Yosemite family get away. The place was amazing. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was so well stocked and had everything you would need. The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of towels. The views were amazing. I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you 😊

We are a family of 4 (kids 10-14 y.o.). We had rain voor two days. Jacuzzi was so great! watching stars in the night. This beautiful sight is great to see in any weather. The carpet fibre and beautiful interior hugs your senses and makes you feel right at home. It is the end of april, we were surprised to see Yosemite National Park covered in snow. Miraculous. This house to stay in is magical! We felt like superstars. We saw a Bobcat, deer, different kinds of birds of pray, even a turtle. Absolutely lovely. And the owner was available for all questions we had, about the animals we saw for example. lovely, i strongly recommend this!

Cabin was close to town and close to Yosemite. Made a great base camp for hiking the park. It is located in the mountains and looks and feels like a mountain cabin. One piece of advice, READ THE INSTRUCTION EMAIL COMPLETELY. I did not and parked in the wrong spot. GREAT CABIN!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. There is something so magical about this home. I’ve stayed in a lot of beautiful places, but I must say this was my favorite. The bed was so comfortable, lounging outside on the deck was extremely peaceful, and I got to swim in the river when the sun was out. My pup and I had a great time here. I definitely would love to come back when I visit Yosemite again :)

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place. It felt like a cozy cabin in the woods, with exceptional cleanliness and charming decorations inside and out. After hiking Yosemite, we loved coming back to relax by the beautiful chimney. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Yosemite or looking for a peaceful getaway.
