I had the most wonderful experience staying here! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, with everything I needed close by, yet quiet enough for a relaxing getaway. Our host was absolutely fantastic — communicative, kind, and thoughtful, with great local recommendations and attention to every little detail that made the stay extra special. I especially appreciated the personal touches that made it feel so welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, stress-free stay. Lovely place. We were two couples who stayed in the Annex for a night. We were blessed with super weather so we saw it at its best, with lovely countryside views and the opportunity to eat our breakfast outside. The two separate rooms, each with en-suite and each with a small kitchen area suited us perfectly. The beds were comfortable, everything was super clean and there was plenty of space to park. A great spot a couple of miles from Malmesbury.

Hannah and George were super helpful, the house was characterful and has all that you need. It was lovely as a family reunion as there was plenty of space, and access to a garden and the toys was so appreciated.

This was a very nice independent flat with a quiet sunny garden all to myself. I had everything I needed: a kitchen with all necessary items and instant coffee, tea, milk and even some chocolates. Very pleasant modern bathroom and a comfy bed. The instructions were very clear and Rachel very responsive and kind. The house is in the top of a hill so if you come walking from the railway station with a heavy suitcase like me it does take some effort but it really is worth it! There was also a lot of leaflets and suggestions for visits of Bradford on Avon, Bath which is only 12 minutes by train, and the rest of this beautiful region.

Alan & Phyl’s property was comfortable and the location was in easy access of shops and restaurants/pubs. Friendly hosts who were very welcoming of my late check-in. Highly recommended.

Jess was super friendly and helpful, and it was an ideal spot for getting about in Bristol, had everything we needed for our trip.

During the two months I stayed at The Studio, Beth was very good at responding to any queries I had and very helpful. I thank her for her understanding and flexibility with my comings and goings.

Such a lovely space. Clean and well designed with a beautiful outlook across to the sea. Nikki was really accommodating and responsive. Check-in was very straightforward. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing place to stay if you want to explore Bath. Sarah greets you and is so friendly and informative and makes you feel right at home, shows you how everything works and where things are, everything was spotless and clean, bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was supplied, muesli, crumpets, bacon, eggs, bread, hot cross buns to name a few things, we were very spoilt for choice. Gated driveway and a space right outside the front door for your car which was priceless for us, parked the car up and didn’t use it again until we left, walking everywhere and using the odd Uber. We made use of the private garden and comfy garden furniture in the evenings after a full day of exploring as the view is fantastic over Bath from there. If we visit Bath again we would definitely book with Sarah 😀

Such a lovely place to stay and to return to at the end of my busy days. Tina and Steve are so friendly and welcoming, the accommodation is immaculate and extremely comfortable with everything provided. The garden is delightful and I enjoyed my chats with Tina about her plants Nearby there is a wonderful plant nursery with such an array of plants. 100% better than regular garden centres and the lovely cafe provided me with delicious lunches each day. Looking forward to returning soon.

Very friendly hosts. Everything clean, cosy and homely. Attention to detail leaving essentials and a lot of nice extra goodies. Would stay again if allowed.

Great beds, wonderful bathroom. Quite well equipped. Very useful hotplate for cooking simple meals if you don't want to to spend money eating out. I would recommend, if you are a light sleeper, that you bring earplugs for the occasional night travelling HGV that goes passed on the A38 - but you can't hear the traffic from the M5. If we were coming to the area again we would not hesitate to stay there again.

We had a delightful stay at Tolly Cottage and every need was catered for. Jan & Dunc went out of her way to ensure our 9 month old was accommodated for at short notice as we only booked last minute. Lovely notes around the cottage, and lots of little touches that made our stay feel really special. Nothing was too much trouble for Jan & Dunc and we'd definitely stay again. Thank you both!

Nick and Sofia were amazing hosts, they should give lessons on how to provide Airbnb's. The accomodation was lovely, clean with all you need and more to ensure you have an amazing stay. It's ideally located and a good place to base yourself so that you can visit the many local towns and tourists attractions. We Would highly recommend staying there and will definitely be making another booking the next time we visit the area.

Nous avons adoré notre court séjour d’une nuitée. Tout était impeccablement parfait! Nous sommes allés prendre une marche en ville (tout à 10-15 minutes de marche) après avoir fait une petite lessive. Shaftesbury est une petite ville magnifique. Nous sommes revenus nous faire à souper, tout le nécessaire pour la cuisson et la confection y était. La nuit a été très paisible et le lit très confortable. Merci Christine et Rob!

We could not have wished for a more relaxing break. Lovely to see Gay and Jonathan again, as welcoming and friendly as ever - you could not wish for better hosts. The studio is a joy to spend time in and is very well thought out and cared for. When we did tear ourselves away from it (it's so peaceful and relaxing to spend time in!) we easily filled our time with a variety of things to do from the doorstep. Exploring BoA itself: the Tithe Barn area and the area called Tory, with its great views and lovely gardens. We also did walks to Iford Manor, Freshford, and Limpley Stoke (great pub with imaginative menu and lovely outdoor space!). Canal and river walks so pleasant and easy. We had some lovely food out but also found it perfect for picking up bits and pieces locally (including a good Sainsbury's, which we walked to along the canal) when we decided to cook for ourselves. We have booked to come back, can't wait for our lovely little 'mini' break!

Have stayed here a couple of times now due to work. It’s very comfortable and I personally consider it home from home . It’s spacious..private..quiet and pretty much central for visitors to Wiltshire. I will be spending as much time as I can here up until August if available. The host Natalie is very pro active and very responsive. And will bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable and pleasant as she can. I really can’t praise this stay enough.

I extended my stay and really enjoyed my time here, it had everything I needed for a long stay and Donna and Neil were great hosts.

Julie and Steve were great hosts.. Friendly and welcoming.. Gave us a good bit of local knowledge and help on places to visit. The annex was great. Situated within 30 minutes of Bath and Bristol and about an hour for the Cotswold by car. Great accommodation. Everything you could wish for. Small fully functional kitchen diner downstairs includes oven,fridge microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. Perfect for a quick bite to eat in the evening and breakfast before heading out for the day.. Upstairs was a nice size lounge with setee arm chairs, TV and dvd player, separate bedroom and bathroom.. This was nice because you was able to sit and watch a bit of TV then off to bed. Didn't feel cramped at all.. We spent 4 nights at Giggleswick and I would highly recommend it.. Thanks for having us.

My stay at Caroline’s in Slad Valley was perfect! Surrounding area is stunning, and so quiet. An array of wildlife in the field behind the barn. Just what I wanted. A thoughtful welcome basket provided. Caroline and Simon provided plenty of information about surrounding villages and towns; great position for exploring. Stroud has a fabulous market on a Saturday and neighbouring Nailsworth plenty to see and do. Overall, an excellent time away, and I would stay again. Thank you for helping to make my trip memorable.
