Myself and two friends recently stayed at Bay Tree Cottage for a long birthday weekend and had a lovey break. The location of the cottage is perfect, next to the harbour, in the middle of Staithes, close to local shops and amenities and some great local walks too. Watching the sunrise over the harbour in the morning was fabulous! The cottage was easy to find thanks to Kevin’s clear instructions and information provided, and inside exceeded our expectations. As a host Kevin was very proactive in communicating with us before, during and after our visit. We would recommend Bay Tree Cottage for a relaxing break and are looking forward to returning in the future at some point!

This place was more than perfect for us 4: we wanted to stay in Robins Hood bay for a mini break and this cottage was even more than we expected, cosier than the photos, fantastic atmosphere by the sea and walks near by. We forgot our toiletries but found what we needed in the bathroom so even better. Cottage was in excellent condition. We want to come back in winter as per children’s request!

Treetops were amazing, we were welcomed with freshly baked bread in the kitchen. The place was clean and homely and warm! Would definitely come again, Lisa was an amazing host!

Absolutely fantastic stay! Beautiful shepherds hut in a beautiful location. Lots of lovely birds in the grounds, and even got visited by a small herd of deer. Jay and Callum are brilliant hosts, very responsive and helpful, and have put lots of nice little touches on the accommodation that make all the difference. Will definitely be staying again!

Amazing stay at this beautiful cabin with private hot tub! We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday and the team made sure to make this extra special with greetings and decorations❤️ Hot tub was fun! Peaceful surrounding. Highly recommended.

My adult son and I stayed for three nights in Brian’s property . The apartment is immaculate and just as described with high quality fixtures and fittings. Beds, linen and pillows particularly stand out. Plenty to see and do within walking distance, frequent bus service from Whitby to surrounding villages and towns as well as train station within walking distance- if you want a different method of transport. For those driving to Whitby the free parking is a real bonus ( residents permit provided with rental property) . If you get the chance to book this place- take it- highly recommend.

Lovely, clean, spacious lodge in a lovely setting with a perfectly placed hot tub. The lodge meet all our requirements. Plenty of storage space, extra bedding provided and all the essentials. Highly recommended.

Just returned from our weekend stay @ "Harbour Lights" in Whitby, a quirky 200 year old cottage, nestled in the back streets of Whitby, the place was excellently furnished, with just about everything you could want for a few days away from home, the view from the upstairs lounge and the downstairs twin room was of the ruined abbey and St Marys church, the instructions from arriving to leaving were clearly printed out on the welcome letter, and the host (Geoff) was contactable by phone, and was incredibly accommodating. all in all a very enjoyable few days away.

We stayed at the house as an extended family for 4 nights for our daughters wedding in the area. It's an absolutely beautiful place and perfect for holidays , celebrations , gatherings or a base for an extended stay. The house is great, the garden amazing , outside space to socialise and eat is super and it's peaceful with beautiful views. We will hopefully come back again it's an absolute gold gem!
