the place and view were just extraordinary as he said it is quite literally a 5 min walk to the beach and you can even see the beach from the villa, it was extremely clean and well organised and everything we needed was available to us we did not have to ask for anything. My family and I had an amazing time and we will definitely be coming back someday! thank you Mahmoud for making this trip the best it could be.

Το κατάλυμα ήταν άψογο, 12-15 από istiklal. Στο 6ο όροφο με ωραία θέα, πεντακάθαρο. Το συγκρότημα πολύ οργανωμένο με πισίνα , γυμναστήριο και 2 καταστήματα φαγητού και ο οικοδεσπότης άψογος, ότι χρειαζόμασταν ήταν πάντα εκεί και μας βοηθούσε!!

Wir waren mit dem Service im Haus sehr zufrieden. Bis auf die Sauberkeit war alles sonst in Ordnung. Der Balkon war nicht ohne Schlappen nutzbar. Sehr schmutzig leider. Weiße Socken tragen ging in der Wohnung leider nicht. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt dort sehr gut. Wir würden es wieder buchen nur mit der Voraussetzung das die Wohnung beim hinsehen vor Ort auch gründlich sauber ist. Vielen Dank.

Chris harika bir ev sahibi, ev çok güzel temiz deklarasyon konusunda başarılı. Park sıkıntısı yaşamadık. Gideceğimiz yerlere deniz yolu ve tramvayla ulaşım kolaydı. Çocuklar da çok mutluydu. Bir otelin verdiği konfordan fazlasını yaşadık. Chris gerçekten tam bir profesyonel. kalacaksanız hiç tereddüt etmeyin Chris harika bir ev sahibi.

We had a wonderful holiday in a unique manifold and for us (not for everyone...if you are a respectful and experienced traveller we recommend it) beautiful neighbourhood. The Old Saffron House was a blast: outside there was so much to do and see and in the evening we were happy to rest in such a beautifully renewed ottoman oasis. These apartments are perfect for a stay in Istanbul! They're beautifully furnished & equip with a full kitchen and air condition (so everything you need for a great stay!) The place was super clean and comfortable and within walking distance from tons of adorable cafes, the main road to catch a cab or the bus stop that will take you nearly anywhere in the city you'd want to go. I cannot recommend staying here enough & will be sure to check these apartments first if I return to Istanbul!

Great 3 floor house in Balat. 15 minutes from the center. Balat is super nice hipster neighborhood with lots of coffee places and local restaurants. The house had 5 bedrooms, all clean and organized. Super nice decor. Comfortable beds and in the 3rd floor you have a living room and dining room with a small kitchen to gather together. We were 8 adults and had lot of space.

We stayed in this place for six days and we had a great time. The house is in an excellent location specially for younger people. The house is as great as it is presented in the pictures and has all the utilities as described.

Immer wieder gerne. Ich mag die Gegend im Balat. Es ist nicht mehr so ursprünglich wie auch schon, der Tourismus kommt dort auch an. Da kann jedoch Kevin nichts dafür. Kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Weiter so. 👍

Denis was very helpful and attentive host. We stayed there for 4 nights and all 16 of us really enjoyed the house and location was perfect! Near to the tram and ferry station and super easy to locate. Btw the rooftop was the highlight of the house! Mostly love everything about the house 🤍🤍 thanks a lot Denis!

A magical escape in the heart of historic Istanbul! Our stay at this Balat apartment was absolutely incredible. The flat was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything from a modern kitchen and smart TVs to air conditioning and central heating. The real highlight, though, was the 100 sqm terrace — the views of the sea, Golden Horn, and city skyline were breathtaking. Whether dining under the stars or relaxing in the cozy winter dome with a PS5, the space was perfect year-round. The location is unbeatable — just steps from the sea, tram, ferry, and steeped in rich history and charm. We loved exploring nearby sacred springs, churches, and local cafes. Communication with the host was smooth and everything matched the listing perfectly. Thank you for an amazing stay. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Balat, Istanbul. The villa was in excellent condition – everything was well-maintained and spotless. The space was more than enough for our group, and the bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Our host was incredibly helpful, always quick to respond and very friendly, which made us feel truly welcome. Staying in Balat gave us the perfect opportunity to experience the authentic side of Istanbul. It was a real treat to be surrounded by the local charm, colorful streets, and unique atmosphere of this historic neighborhood. Highly recommended!

This was our fourth trip to Istanbul and we decided to try an Air BNB as the hotels seem to always be built next to night clubs or are over priced. We definitely made the right decision. This air bnb is large and very well located. We weren't interested in going to the historic sites this trip but it is close to them without being in the historic peninsula which is noisy and crowded. This place is very quiet especially at night, compared to other places we have stayed in Istanbul and the neighborhood is fascinating and picturesque
