Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

Early Frost Farms is a hobby farm specializing in vegetable growing. Our general store sells canned goods and ice cream treats. We are located right on Mesabi Bike Trail, 17 minutes from Giant's Ridge; 35 min. from Ely and the north shore.

With 200 feet of shoreline, the 1500 sq ft cabin is situated on 8 acres yet only a 5 minute drive to Ely. Perfect for a romantic getaway or family get together. All new beds/bedding, cozy sectional, laundry and 2 full baths are sure to make any length of stay enjoyable.

Great walleye fishing in the bay directly in front of the cabin. Fishing boat and kayak on site. The cabin is an open concept format. The lower bedrooms require descending 2 steps. The bedrooms are separated by curtains.
