Newcroft Shepherd’s Hut

Beautiful new bespoke Shepherds Hut, situated in an iydillic, peaceful location with views over the Solway Firth & Criffel. The Hut is equipped with everything needed to ensure an amazing, memorable stay in luxurious accommodation with comfy sofa, living flame electric fire, electric radiators and TV. There is an additional outside seating area, please ask in advance if the BBQ is required. There is Tea, Coffee, Sugar and Milk provided in the Shepherds Hut. Sorry, no children. 2 Pets Maximum.

Charming Cottage on the beach

Kick back and relax in this calm, quaint, stylish space. Small and cosy, the cottage dates back to the 18th century and features lintels made from ships beams beached long ago. This seaside cottage has a "Loo with a view" over the Solway to Scotland! And if you like to sleep with a window open, you'll drift off to the sound of waves breaking on the shore. We're pet friendly too, as is the beach which is open to dogs all year and the Lakes are just a short drive away. Sea or fells? You choose!

The Place is an exceptional 17th Century farmhouse cottage with stunning lake views, at the head of Loweswater in the beautiful, quiet Western Lake District. Full of charming original features, modernised conveniently, and gracefully furnished, it is a delight to come home to. 4 bedrooms, 1 bed and shower room on the ground floor, make it suitable for a maximum of 8 people and 1 dog, but cosy for smaller groups or a couple as well. The pretty garden includes a Games Barn & Garden Studio.

Set within extensive gardens, in a tranquil rural hamlet, in the quieter NW corner of the Lake District National Park. Quiet, yet easily accessible by road and rail (9 miles) and within walking distance of the local pub. It is equidistant between the towns of Keswick, Cockermouth and Wigton. The nearest Wainwright (Binsey) is walkable from the front door. The house is 4/5 bedrooms, has a large family dining table, 3 lounges, each with stoves (one convertible to a bedroom).

Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.
