We stayed here as it was very close to a wedding nearby. The entire place was very clean. The beds are really comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped including a coffee machine stocked with coffee beans ready to make any drinks you want. The table and lounge was comfortable and spacious for socialising. Great place to stay would definitely stop here again if we ever needed to be in Nottingham.

Adorable home perfect for our overnight stay. Extremely clean & tidy. Both bedrooms were large & nicely furnished. So lovely and quiet at night, very restful sleep. Kaine was a perfect host and the property was easy to find and get into. Nice & decent size Co-op on the main road B6016, about 5 minutes walk. Also, a few takeaways, pubs around there and on Somercotes Road. We had a relaxing, very comfortable stay, thank you Kaine

Brilliant value for a group of us including four teenagers for a football match in Mansfield. Good location (10 minutes walk to town and 15 minutes to the football ground) and plenty of take aways/shops nearby. Plenty of space in the house and big fridge/freezer etc and due to the size of the group, it was a real bonus to have 3 bathrooms/showers. Also, parking was good as we travelled in four separate cars and a quiet area as the house is located across from a primary school so very little noise at night. Definitely would book again but hoping not to if we get promoted😀

It was perfectly located for the couple of days we had planned in and around the Peak District, and close to the walks we wanted to do. It was comfortable, clean and had great views. Laura is a wonderful host.

We loved our time here. It had everything we needed and it was just what we were hoping for. The hamper was a lovely touch too. We found it very central to the local villages and we walked into Carsington which had a lovely pub there. It was also a short drive to the surrounding villages for useful amenities and popular walking routes. The check in was super easy and we were given all of the information we needed prior to arriving and given updates while we were here too, if we needed to reach out. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We did notice the smell of the boiler when first arriving but soon got used to it, and we didn’t notice the traffic much. There were a few gaps under the fencing so we didn’t trust our small dogs to have free rein, particularly with the livestock and the road close by. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to our family and friends.

The house was perfect for our weekend stay and had everything that we needed. We used all three bedrooms but the one with a double bed is very small and you can only get out of the bed on one side. We ended up swapping around a bit for our second night. Our hosts, Marlena and her husband were brilliant and really quick to respond when we had a problem with the bedroom door and the tv. I would recommend this house to anyone needing to stay in Nottingham (and the shower was really good).

Second time we have stayed at Jack's house. Great house, excellent host, and in a very convenient location.

Good place to stay for a night out in Nottingham. Has a Lidl across the road which is helpful if you forget or need anything. Spacious house easy to park outside and get to use the permit. Only negative to say was it’s on a main road and you can hear all the traffic fairly early in the morning, however that is no fault of the host. And Is expected when looking at the location for the booking. Would recommend staying here to anyone in a group looking to go out in Nottingham you can walk to all the bars.

We had a large group stay for 2 nights, and found that the communal spaces worked really well. We appreciated having enough space for people to sit and eat together, with a separate lounge area that was similarly big enough for everyone to comfortably gather. The beds were comfortable, and the flexibility of the layout was appreciated. We had a nice meal out that was only 10mins drive away, and enjoyed the nice walks in the area. Communication from the host was responsive. There is only one small parking space at the property but there was plenty of on-street parking within close proximity.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

We had a great stay - the house is peaceful, quiet, clean, and especially cosy with the woodburner on! Richard and Jo were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, and offered great advice on places to visit nearby with our two small children. We all slept amazingly well (very unusual with a 1 and 3 year old); the beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The house is well set up for visiting with toddlers - there are toys, books, stair gates etc. and the large garden is great to let them run around in. We would absolutely return, especially in the summer to really make use of the beautiful garden.

Lucy was great - always responsive and helpful/clear with instructions. The place itself was fantastic, I was there with my wife, brother and some friends over New Year, and we were very comfortable. We had our dogs as well, who loved the garden! (Though note that the garden is not fully enclosed). We had a wonderful time - thanks Lucy!

Came with wife and teen for 2 nights whilst walking Dovedale. The cabin was exactly as described. Clean and cozy. The owner responded instantly to messages (yes there are towels). Some pubs and shops (and a nice curry house) within 15 mins walk. Would heartily recommend.

Honestly one of the most beautiful places we have stayed, we had everything we needed and more and the personalised touches were just lovely! So cosy, clean and we felt so at home - we are already planning a trip back! 🩷

I was just as happy with this, my second stay at Emma's bungalow, as my previous stay The bungalow is clean, tidy, cosy and very well equipped for self catering It is a perfect location for me to visit family in Derby and I really like Belper itself Emma is very easy to communicate with and very responsive - she quickly came to my rescue with an apparent problem I had with the cooker! (the cooker wasn't faulty btw!) I hope to be stay here again and am happy to recommend to others

Really nice place to stay if you are in Loughborough for a few days. A nice neighbourhood with close access to supermarket, coffee shops and a 30-40 minute walk to the town or University. Would wholly recommend!

A lovely little cottage that felt like home, just what we needed whilst working away from. It was great that we could bring the dog too, and they even had bowls and blankets for him too. Bill and Jo were fantastic hosts, they introduced themselves, and really made us feel welcome, nothing was too much for them. I Will definitely recommend, coffin makers cottage, and if in the area again I will definitely stay here. Thank you x

Lovely little cottage, had an amazing time. Beautiful view out the window and the little extra gift was the icing on the cake.
