This newly refurbished, oversized 1 bdrm aptmt (unti 1), 1 bath, on the first floor with a 10x20 covered porch overlooking Smith River, cornered by a ten-mile, mentally therapeutic recreation trail used for walking, bicycling, X-country skiing, snowmachining. Large parking area. Smith River runs into Lake Winni which is located 150 yards from the front door of this unit (no immediate beach access). A parking permit is available for public beach. There is a futon for 2 additional guests.

The Tent on Beaver Pond

We are offering a beautiful, COMFORTABLE, option to camping. Our off grid tent comes with all the comforts of home including a wood stove and reading nook! It is nestled into a hemlock grove overlooking the active beaver pond. Walking trails and local activities at a stones throw. If you have a small boat or kayaks- BRING them! We have space in the yard and lots of local places to send you to get good use out of them. Please do not use on our pond. We have a boat available for use.

We provide kayaks, inflatable boats, & beach chairs for guests. The property is surrounded by conservation land. The Chandler Wild Park Trail has an entrance right in front of the property. It is perfect for hiking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and walking.

Our Cabin is a unique A-frame/Salt box combo that we call the “G-Frame” (designed and built by us). The interior space is open and airy. There are a few large windows allowing nature to be part of your experience indoors. In the cooler months bring firewood for the woodstove and sauna.Plenty of land for outdoor activities.
