This place is far more beautiful in person! I highly recommend it! Super clean, SO many activities to do, you really don’t need to bring much because they provide basically everything essential! The host is also amazing! Super nice! We will definitely be coming back!

Upon arrival, it was easy to find and easy to get into. It is right on Lake Huron and the beach itself is immaculate. The space was beautifully decorated and had all kinds of useful amenities. It was really cozy. :) Amazing experience! Will be back!

We stayed at this charming cottage for a weekend with our family of 11, ranging from 17 to 74 years old. It was the perfect place for all of us to come together and enjoy quality time in a peaceful setting. The booking process was quick and easy, and check-in was seamless. From the moment we arrived, we felt immediately welcomed by the host, who had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The cottage was incredibly neat and tidy. I personally loved that there were limited televisions, which meant we spent more time playing family games and bonding. The cottage was very well-stocked with all the essentials, and we never felt like we were missing anything. Situated in a peaceful and beautiful area, the cottage offered a relaxing atmosphere perfect for unwinding. Although it rained the entire weekend, it didn’t dampen the fun—there was still plenty to enjoy indoors, and the scenery was stunning, even from the comfort of the cottage.

Carol’s place was a welcome rest for us. We loved the place’s early 1900s feel yet with all the modern amenities you would want. Perfect location right downtown. Just a few steps to all the shops and restaurants. Carol was always quick to respond and very helpful. The place was spotless. TVs in both bedrooms and living room was nice. We will be back!

I had a wonderful time here! So peaceful and private, great outdoor space, and the home was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated! I felt right at home and was able to be comfortable quickly! Rachel was quick to respond, provided recommendations, and the pricing was perfect! Highly recommend for a family getaway, couples retreat, or even a solo mom trip (like myself)! Exactly as described. Had a comforting older home grandma feel. All the furniture was comfortable. Loved the recliners! Loved the foos ball, fireplace thingy in the basement, deck, outdoor fire pit and the wildlife! Had some frustration with the heating system. Theres a weird mix and match heating system with no written instructions on how to control the heating. There is no air conditioning at all which made for some discomfort on days it reached the 50s. Enjoyed our stay! Home was really clean! Love that bedding and furniture was not white!

This was an excellent location and the place was so cute, cozy and clean! Thank you Cindy and Paul for your great hospitality and accommodating us for an extra night! Perfect for a fishermans getaway. A few minutes drive from multiple boat launches for Houghton lake. Tons of good restaurants also within a few minutes away. Family fare right around the corner for those that need to do some shopping for forgotten essentials, or those who want to pick up food to cook for themselves. The place was very clean, and comfortable environment. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. 10/10 would book again!

This was our first Airbnb experience, and it exceeded our expectations! My family and I had a wonderful time at this home. The house was cozy, well-stocked, and truly felt like home. We especially enjoyed sitting outside by the beach, which was such a peaceful and relaxing experience. The house even had extra beach items that made our stay even more enjoyable. We only needed to bring a few extra items since everything we needed was provided.
