Secluded Off-Grid Mountain Cottage

Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a 'donkey' water heater and solar power.

Nieuwedrift Cottage comprises a air-conditioned main bedroom contains a queen-size bed and its en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath. The second room has 2 single beds and an air conditioner. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, cooking utensils and a dining table. Nina’s House at Buffelspad

Nina's house is one of two cottages on the Buffelspad private nature reserve. The property borders the Cederberg Wilderness Reserve and is located at an altitude of 850m. The Fynbos reserve is a botanists paradise with a wide variety of unique plants spread across the property. There are approximately 10km of breathtaking walking trails traversing the Middleberg mountains. A stay at Nina's House is the perfect antidote for stress and a chance to reconnect with nature.
