I don't know who loved the stay at the Leccino cottage more, us or our two dogs! It was so peaceful and quiet with beautiful little hiking roots around the farm and breathtaking sunsets. We especially loved the pool and hot tub which were perfect escapes from the harsh summer heat. We went on the hiking trail Leon recommended and it was nothing short of what he had promised: an interesting trail with breathtaking views! Leon was a lovely host, super responsive and helpful and we even got to take some of their delicious olive oil home (definitely buy some from him when you're there, it's so worth it!) What a lovely escape from the city, we'll definitely visit again.

Perfect accommodation for our a stopover in Tulbagh. Tastefully outfitted and functional. Great little brain area and we really enjoyed the wood fired pool! Peaceful ,quiet,private. Nothing to improve. Most impressed!

An amazing stay. Beautiful views of the mountains and rolling hills from the Kol Kol and braai area right by a river. The accommodation is very comfortable and the farm has a lot of tranquility! Can’t wait to come back!

Nadea’s place was so great!! My eldest daughter was crying when we left because she didn’t want us to leave. It was so peaceful and quiet. It was just real therapy being there this past weekend. My wife and I wanted a bit of peace and quite before the year began and decided to make a trip to a secluded place where we can relax and recharge and it was well worth it. Kathy and her husband were wonderful hosts providing us with everything we need, directing us to walking routes on the farm, telling stories of the history and the surroundings. Evenings under the stars in the hot tub surrounded by fire and a lot of nothingness is exactly what we had hoped for. This is an absolute must to add to the bucket list.

It was a very relaxing stay for 6 adults and a toddler. Very private and very quiet and the dam in which to swim was lovely and refreshing given the very hot conditions this time of year.

We arrived late and had very clear instructions that helped. in the morning we awoke to a beautiful Eden!

Great little cottage in the bush with a small creek at the front. Very comfortable beds and host was easy to communicate with.

We spent a weekend at the cottage for my parents' birthdays and we all had a great time, including the dogs! Beautifully appointed, very clean and modern, we had everything we needed & more, including ice, tea, coffee, fire wood etc. The pool and loungers are fantastic for the summer heat. We loved the peace and beauty of the farm and surrounding mountains. We will definitely be back!

We visited John's property for 3 days over the Easter weekend and we had an amazing time. The property is located a short drive from Cape Town, making it easily accessible. The house is beautiful, with lots of space and a fully-stocked kitchen. The garden and pool area are well-maintained and are a great place to spend the afternoon. There are plenty of activities to do in the area with several hikes and wine farms in close proximity - we enjoyed Org de Rac. While The Old Barn was the perfect place for a summer weekend-away, I would happily return in Winter as the the house is very cozy, with an indoor fireplace and plenty of board games and books.

This was an absolute GEM of a find. Location was amazing, view is spectacular, house has any kind of entertainment you could think of. This property was over and beyond what I expected and I will be sure to return. Lynae was extremely responsive on message and very helpful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Another wonderful stay at this cosy cottage, well appointed, perfect for families with kids and furkids, easy walk to the beach and a fun play park opposite.

We had a wonderful weekend. We were able to take our dog and enjoy long walks on the beach and a cozy fire inside to relax with a glass of wine.

Beautiful cottage - doesn't get closer to the beach. nicely away from the town, but still close enough to go for supplies if you want to. Dream get away.

Meine Partnerin und ich waren insgesamt 7 Tage im April in der Unterkunft und haben die Ruhe, sowie die Nähe zu der Natur nach einer kurzen Eingewöhnung sehr genossen. Wir wurden öfter mal von neugierigen Tieren besucht, was aber für uns nicht so schlimm war. In der Umgebung waren wir öfter mal wandern z.B. in Algeria (1h fahrt) oder auf dem Hausberg direkt vor der Tür. An der Westküste (2h fahrt) waren wir auch reiten und eine schöne Abwechslung. Die Wildtiere in der Umgebung sind lassen sich kaum sehen. Schlangen haben wir nur eine gesehen, welche sich aber als sie uns bemerkt hat direkt von uns weg entfernt hat. Viele Vögel, Nagetiere und andere Wildtiere konnten wir beobachten und genießen. Michael und sein Team waren sehr freundlich und die Unterkunft war ein Traum.

Staying at Michael’s home in the mountains of Citrusdal was truly unforgettable! Michael, Jewaan, and Tilly were all incredible! They were welcoming, friendly, and extremely accommodating throughout our stay. The house itself is nestled in the most stunning mountain setting, and the scenery completely exceeded our expectations. The rock pool was absolutely magical, the perfect spot to cool off and soak in the peaceful surroundings. We also loved exploring the beautiful hiking trails around the property. Whether you’re after relaxation or adventure, this place has it all. We can’t wait to return one day and would recommend this slice of paradise to anyone looking for a unique and rejuvenating getaway.

Stayed one night in transit- was easy to drive to our activities in riebeek kasteel (5 minute easy drive).

Great stay amazing location charming cottage in one of the most beautiful area in the western Cape

A 1min walk across the road from the beach. Situated close to shopping malls and fun activities. Place equiped with all amenities needed. Entertainment area for fire pits and braais. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place so peaceful leon upgraded us to a bigger cottage just the hot tub takes forever to warm up and needs lots off wood. But will definitely go back again
