Our stay was very comfortable; the house was roomy, spotlessly clean and well presented. The location was fabulous and only a stones throw from some of the popular walks in the area. We would stay there again. Car parking is on the street and the village was very busy when we stayed, so we had to leave the cars a hundred meters, or so, from the house. However, it felt safe enough to leave the cars out of sight.

This was a great place to stay - it was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Check in and check out was very easy. Adam was communicative, extremely helpful and responsive to our questions. Would love to return if in Manchester again.

A fantastic host we were immediately made to feel welcome, safe and secure little garden that my daughter played in surrounded by absolutely stunning countryside. The cottage itself is warm, cozy and very well equipped, I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet getaway in the Peak District.

We had a brilliant weekend stay in Michelle's family home, which was absolutely perfect as a base with our two children and grandma for a family wedding. The house is huge and beautifully decorated, and set up with everything you could need to entertain the kids (a stunning garden in the sunshine as well!). We loved the open plan kitchen space looking out onto the garden. Michelle was so helpful and brilliant at communicating with us, all the information provided was so useful. A wonderful home from home, really couldn't have asked for more. We would definitely stay again! Thank you so much xx

Perfect property, in a great location and a fantastic host. The house was everything we needed for our short 2 day stay. Great location for walking in the peaks and for visiting Buxton. We ate at local restaurant A Tavola (1min walk from the house) and it was absolutely incredible. Highly recommended property!

We had a lovely 3 night stay here and we would recommend to anyone visiting Sale or Manchester. Rachel is a great host, we had everything we needed in the apartment. To get to central Manchester was very easy using the tram. Would definitely return when we come back to Manchester.

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at Woodcock Farm. Very handy for Glossop which is a lovely little town with all the amenities & services you could wish for. Situated at the start of Snake Pass, Woodcock is also well located for access to the High Peak. Beautiful accommodation- Emma has done a fabulous job converting her barn into the 2 cottages - extremely well-appointed & stylish with fabulous views

Truly a home from home. Nathan has thought of everything - we really didn’t want for anything. He was super helpful dropping a travel cot off for us on the first night. If you’re on the fence don’t hesitate, book it! Should we ever need oaklands again I would book it in a heartbeat. Perfect for families with open space and garden. Not to mention the toys that my three little boys were super excited to explore. Thanks again 😊
