Black Rock Stables

If you enjoy a beautiful view, a peaceful and secluded rural setting and being surrounded by animals (wild and domestic) then this is the place for you! Black Rock Stables was built as an equestrian facility; however, the focus is now on providing small scale dog/cat boarding and the breeding of healthy and happy Scottish terriers. Even so, a few elderly equines can often be seen mowing the grass, and we now have a small petting zoo for your children to enjoy. Registration number STR2526A6090

MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. The Puffin Pod is an allergy-friendly sleeping pod (no pets) with a cozy living room and double bed in the bedroom. This cabin is a 5-7 minute walk from the main parking lot, up-hill - which is why is has some of the best views! The Cookhouse is very closeby with Wi-Fi, basic staples like coffee & tea, everything you need to cook and store your food, and board games.
