My family and I came to hopefully catch the northern lights and this place delivered! It’s the perfect location to catch the lights with its reflection in the lake just outside the back door. The home itself was large and comfortable for our family of 5. We cooked great meals in the well equipped kitchen and it was an easy drive to local grocery stores if needed while also being in a secluded peaceful location.

The Delta River Loft

This little spot is nice and secluded with great views out the loft windows (or the downstairs windows) of Mt Hayes, Mt Moffet, Aurora Peak and many others in the Alaska Range. At night it’s perfectly silent with no light pollution so lots of stars (and likely great Aurora viewing if you get so lucky, sadly I did not). The kitchen is well stocked to cook and it’s a warm and comfy place, and the fireplace quickly heats it up even more if you’d like. It’s a short drive to Delta Junction where you can find supplies and food/drinks, and right near Alaska 4 where you can head towards Castner Ice Caves, or just enjoy the stunning drive and immense Alaskan mountain scenery.

This is my second year at visiting this Delta Junction house, which is perfect for travelers. Very easy to find, easy to enter, with a huge wide open space for travelers and their gear. Nice bathroom with a sink that has plenty of space and a washer and dryer, which I consider essentials. Kitchen has essentials plus a huge counter, which is fantastic for space. Place is very clean. Debra is just lovely and very responsive. Frankly, if I were designing a house for AirBnb, this would be ideal!

A sweet time spent away from work, relaxing in the hot tub, watching the northern lights and enjoying the peace and quiet through the day while staying here. If I came back to Delta Junction in the future, I'd come here to stay.

Jennifer responded very quickly even after business hours to whatever questions you had. Her place was beautiful, had a great scenery next to the clearwater river, and provided equipment outside for grilling and lounging if needed.

It's a beautiful area. The cabin overlooks a large lake. There are other small cabins on the property but they were vacant during the winter. My wife and I went up for a few days to try to catch the Aurora. It was great because the living room has large windows that look out over the lake. There were no trees obstructing the view so we could see a large portion of the sky. There is also a large deck for when they really started dancing across the sky This place beats others we have tried because we didn't have to get In a car to drive to an open area. The co-host was very responsive and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. We loved the feel of it being a cabin as well.

Great place for the full Alaskan experience

Reserved Mikhail's place for a work crew that I had to end down to Greely. They enjoyed their stay, had nothing but great thins to say, and very much appreciated having a full kitchen during their month in Delta instead of having to go out to eat all of the time. Would definitely book again!

Ok went to this place for the bison hunt in the winter … and the location is perfect, it’s right in the middle of the hunt area, so that was an awesome. It was my father an I staying . And for us it was perfect size , you could sleep more people but the kitchen and living area is not very big so it may get crowded if you had more than 2-3 people the tv is small .. and not a smart tv but it has dvd capability so we picked up a couple movies the bathroom itself is really big, so big it’s where we kept our luggage. The owner was responsive every time I sent a message no complaints… the check out steps were very simple …. The only recommendations I would give to improve the property would be maybe a smart tv , and a railing for the porch steps other than that was great would definitely recommend. And I will definitely look for this place if I go back to that area
