For the more ambitious, Scafell pike and the Wasdale Valley are just a car ride away, or Perhaps you would like to play the stunning 18 hole golf course, or fish the Esk.

The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

It is our weekend home, providing tranquillity and an escape from the bustle of modern life - a superb place to bring friends (& dogs) and to relax. Please note: -there is limited parking for 2 cars. - the property is not suitable for people with limited mobility or balance. - due to exposed rural location roads likely to be icy in winter
