Comfortable beds, awesome backyard with pool and hot tub, great location- walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, park and very close to lots of site seeing. great location and amenities - we really appreciated the garage parking spot as it's in a popular beach area. Easy access to the beach boardwalk, and the house has a nice saltwater pool and spa with all the floaties and life jackets for the kids. We found everything we needed to have a fantastic spring break!

A Perfect Getaway in El Cajon! From the moment we arrived, this stunning Airbnb exceeded all expectations. Nestled in the scenic hills of El Cajon, the property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and feels like a true retreat. Waking up to the golden California sun streaming through the windows and enjoying coffee on the patio with panoramic views was a daily highlight. The outdoor space is a dream—lush landscaping, a relaxing seating area, and the kind of quiet that lets you truly unwind. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive. Whether you’re looking to explore San Diego or just relax in a serene setting, this is the perfect place. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our next trip!

What a lovely home! We spent 5 days here with our family of 5 and it was absolutely wonderful. The home is spacious and open, very clean, and beautifully decorated. We loved the pool and watching airplanes take off and land in the distance. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again!

We had a great stay over spring break! Our group was 5 adults & 4 children, but we never felt cramped! The neighborhood is charming and felt safe, even to this small town family. We walked into the Kensington main street area most days - for coffee (Starbucks), acai bowls & organic groceries (Stehly Farms Market), pizza, burgers (kids eat free on Tuesday!), and ice cream (you MUST try the Ube & Toffee flavor at Stella Jeans)! :) The kids loved the pool/ hot tub, although it was a shame the pool guy never checked in over our weeklong stay. With 4 children in the pool every day, the water was cloudy by the time we left. I blame myself for not letting Zeina and Mo know, as they were responsive for all my other queries. The casita was a blessing for grandma and grandpa, who needed their quiet time. The only real complaint I heard from our group was that the house smells stale (like the charming old house it is) and the laundry/pingpong area smells of mildew. Opening doors helped!

Great place with a very central location, close to the airport and zoo. We really enjoyed our stay and the amenities offered at the home. Lacee was very responsive and accommodating.

I love that the kitchen was very well stocked! If you like to cook it’s great! The backyard was beautiful my kids loved the resort feel. We visited for a graduation for my nephew from the Marines boot camp. The location was about 20-25 minutes from base which was so easy because you’re close to the freeway! The house was perfect for our stay! The box truck in the front yard was a throw off when we arrived but once inside you didn’t notice it was there. The house is very cute and full of everything you need to have a great stay! Thank you Brian for being a great host!

This spot is so cozy and quiet. Very convenient for visiting SDSU and other local attractions. I also appreciated being able to park behind the gate in the driveway instead of street parking.

My family of 4 stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time! The house was comfortable with a beautiful outdoor area and comfortable interior with everything we needed. The host was extremely responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Don is a super responsive host. The location could not be any better, especially for the price point. The place is very basic however based on the location, I can understand why as there is a lot to do outdoors as you are a few steps away from the beach and everything else, shops, restaurants, amusement park and so much more. You are minutes away from the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Old Town and the Gas Lamp District. This location is not only good for folks with children but also great for young adults as there is plenty of night life a short walk away. We are from Los Angeles, however we felt as though we were vacationing in another states hot spot. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. Marjorie and Dan’s home was vey nice, clean and bright. We felt very comfortable there. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Jaime’s house exceeded our expectations. The location was stunning and the house was spacious and had everything we needed. We are a family of five, and it was nice to be able to spread out, relax and enjoy a space that felt like home. We did not have a car but found the location was fairly close to most San Diego attractions. It is a short walk down to Old Town which has lots of eateries and the transit station, where you can catch the trolley and buses. We used Uber too. Jaime provided lots of great ideas for places to go and was friendly, prompt and easy to communicate with.

2nd stay at this home. We absolutely love the team and the homes they offer. If you’re anywhere in the San Diego area this is where you start.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location for access to the beach and local restaurants and centrally located within a short drive to the heart of San Diego. Access to bikes a nice plus for rides along the beach. Unit was clean and comfortable, no complaints.

I love that the host was very helpful and responsive everytime I had a question or concern . They also let the house very clean and it felt like home . Thanks for allowing me to enjoy my birthday weekend at your residence .

This location is ideal for quick pickups and is conveniently close to popular tourist spots. A vehicle is recommended for easy access. The presence of fruit trees adds a delightful touch, making it a very sweet and appealing place to stay. Will stay here again!

We have stayed here before, and the location could not be more perfect- it is so close to the beach and walkable to a dozen restaurants. The house is stocked with everything you need to cook to be at the beach (chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, etc) and is very comfortable for a family! Highly recommend.

We stayed for about a week at Chana’s Casa. Arrival/check in was made easy with photos for guidance, the space was open, beautiful, and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the views out back and saw so much wildlife! Even a coyote! Chana and her partner were very quick to respond to any questions we had, and did so in a friendly way. As a group of four, we had plenty of space, though more may have felt a bit cramped. Sharing an Airbnb property can be a bit odd at times, but the other tenants (in the casita) were kind and we had no issues. Overall, a lovely stay with plenty of amenities and caring hosts! We fell in love with Ramona during our stay and would come back any time.
